I would recommend this product to anyone that needs to manage thier fleet easily. Its super easy for any level 1 tech to use even if they dont have scripting knowledge.

Pros

The easy patching process, Deploying apps, remote controlling the devices make for easy customer support. Very User friendly. Great value for money with the treat and patch managment. We use the endpoing management along side intune Autopilot.

Cons

Only the manual updating process for the on premise server. I really cant think of any other cons at all.

### "Alaa Review "

April 5, 2026

5.0

The platform provides strong endpoint management capabilities, including reliable device wiping, which is essential for securing lost or decommissioned devices. This feature gives confidence in maintaining data protection and compliance. Customer support has been responsive and helpful in most cases, providing timely assistance and clear guidance when issues arise, although response times can occasionally vary depending on the complexity of the request. In terms of value for money, Endpoint Central stands out as a cost-effective solution compared to similar tools, offering a wide range of features without requiring significant investment. Overall, it’s a solid and practical choice for organizations looking for a comprehensive yet affordable endpoint management solution.

Pros

What I like most about is its all-in-one endpoint management capability. It combines patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, and asset management in a single, easy-to-use platform. The automation features significantly reduce manual effort, and the remote control tool is fast and reliable, which improves support efficiency. It’s especially valuable for managing large environments, helping IT teams maintain compliance, security, and operational efficiency with minimal overhead.

Cons

What I liked least about is its somewhat complex user interface, which can feel cluttered and less intuitive, especially for new administrators. Navigation between modules is not always seamless, and certain configurations require multiple steps that could be simplified. Additionally, reporting and dashboard customization options could be more flexible to better support quick, executive-level insights.

### "Great Tool for Bitlocker, Software, and Patch Deployment!"

March 3, 2026

4.0

Really good. Software and patch deployment works well. I like certain QoL aspects of the UI such as being able to adjust column widths. I also like the large amount of information that can be shown on one page for endpoints. The Bitlocker deployment for Windows machines is incredible.

Pros

The ease of Bitlocker deployment and Software deployment to endpoints! The software and patch deployment also works well. The inventory system for the endpoints is great. Great value for the money.

Cons

UI disorganization. I can find everything but sometimes it is difficult and I have to ask support or LLM. Support is responsive and pretty ease to understand so far.

### "Efficient Centralized Endpoint Management with Strong Automation Features"

May 28, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It provides a centralized platform to manage endpoints efficiently, including patch management, software deployment, and remote support. The automation features help reduce manual workload and improve consistency across devices. While there is a learning curve during initial setup, the platform becomes more effective once configured and supports day-to-day IT operations reliably.

Pros

I liked most about is its ability to manage multiple endpoint tasks from a single console. It simplifies patch management, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting, which helps reduce manual effort for the IT team. The centralized control and automation features improve efficiency and ensure better compliance across all devices.

Cons

One drawback of is that the initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially in larger environments with many endpoints. Some features also require a learning curve, and navigating between modules can feel slightly overwhelming at first. Additionally, advanced customization options may take time to configure properly depending on organizational needs.

### "Endpoint Central Powers Our RRB Field Fleet – 42% Cheaper Than SCCM"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Transformed field sales chaos into RBI-audit-ready fleet. Patches 20K UPI-related endpoints before zero-days hit, self-service portal slashed helpdesk 60%. Perfect FortiGate companion—patches endpoints, FortiGate guards network. 9/10 for SMB Indian IT security teams chasing enterprise deals.

Pros

Value for Money shines—₹2 lakhs/year manages unlimited patching/deployment across Windows/Linux/Android for 15+ RRB sites, 80% cheaper than Microsoft Intune. Ease of Use is buttery—one dashboard enrolls Airtel eSIM laptops in 2 clicks, no PowerShell marathons. Device Management tracks USB usage preventing co-op bank data leaks, remote control flawless during Jio outages for TCS-SBI demos. Deployment took 1 hour cloud setup + GPO agent push. Customer Support rocks—Chennai chat resolves FortiClient clashes in 30 mins (India toll-free lifesaver). Endpoint Enrollment zero-touch Windows 11 upgrades cut tickets 60%.

Cons

Licensing maze confused RRB clients during renewals (per-endpoint vs. unlimited unclear). Custom UPI inventory reports need SQL dives, not drag-drop. MDM iOS could match Jamf polish for banking compliance.

Alternatives considered

[Microsoft Intune](https://www.capterra.com/p/230703/Microsoft-Endpoint-Manager-MEM/)

Reason for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

SCCM was bleeding us dry at ₹8 lakhs/year and couldn't handle our 200 field laptops during Jio monsoons. Intune quoted ₹3 lakhs annually but had zero Linux support for RRB server patching + weak offline capabilities—our Airtel eSIM laptops needed it. PDQ Deploy was cheap but lacked MDM for Android/iOS field BDM phones tracking UPI endpoints. Kaseya wanted enterprise pricing for SMB features we didn't need.

Switched from

[Microsoft Intune](https://www.capterra.com/p/230703/Microsoft-Endpoint-Manager-MEM/)

It was killing us at DigitalTrack—₹8 lakhs annual licensing bled cash, choked on 200 field laptops during Jio/Airtel outages, and took weeks for zero-day patches while FortiClient endpoints got hammered. Three RRB clients panicked during UPI gateway upgrades when SCCM missed critical patches. Endpoint Central's cloud + offline patching went live in 2 days, auto-patches Windows/Linux/third-party apps daily (95% compliance), and costs ₹2 lakhs/year—75% cheaper.

### "Unmatched Endpoint Control with Powerful Remote Management"

April 27, 2026

5.0

has transformed how we manage our endpoint infrastructure. The platform delivers enterprise-grade control without enterprise-grade complexity. From day one, the System Control features gave us visibility we never had before — knowing exactly what's running on every machine, who's logged in, and what changes are happening in real time. Remote functionality has become indispensable for our team; we can resolve tickets faster without dispatching someone onsite. Direct-to-terminal access has saved us countless hours when deep system access is needed for troubleshooting. BitLocker recovery alone has paid for itself — being able to pull recovery keys instantly from the console instead of hunting through AD or local backups is invaluable. Deployment and enrollment were straightforward, and the endpoint management capabilities cover everything from patching to software distribution to USB device control. It's the kind of tool that makes an IT team significantly more effective and responsive.

Pros

The depth of endpoint management control is what sets EPC apart from everything else I've evaluated. System Control gives me granular visibility and command over every managed device. The remote functionality is rock-solid — I can troubleshoot and resolve issues from anywhere without needing physical access. Direct-to-terminal access is a game-changer for deep troubleshooting; it feels like sitting right at the endpoint. BitLocker recovery integration is seamless — retrieving keys and managing encryption policies from a central console eliminates what used to be hours of manual work. The ability to manage software deployment, patching, and device configurations from one platform significantly reduces overhead and keeps our environment secure and compliant.

Cons

The initial learning curve can be steep for teams that are new to enterprise endpoint management. Some advanced features require time to fully explore and configure properly. The reporting dashboard, while comprehensive, could benefit from more customizable widget layouts to suit different admin preferences. Occasional delays in agent check-in on endpoints with spotty connectivity can be frustrating, though this is more of a network limitation than a product flaw.

Alternatives considered

[Microsoft Intune](https://www.capterra.com/p/230703/Microsoft-Endpoint-Manager-MEM/)

Reason for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

We chose EPC over Intune and Ivanti because it offered the best balance of features, cost, and ease of management. Intune required heavy Azure AD integration and licensing that didn't fit our hybrid environment. Ivanti was more expensive and had a steeper learning curve. EPC delivered the depth of endpoint control we needed — remote management, direct terminal access, BitLocker recovery, patch management, and compliance enforcement — all from a single, well-designed console at a competitive price point.

Switched from

[Microsoft Intune](https://www.capterra.com/p/230703/Microsoft-Endpoint-Manager-MEM/)

We switched from SCCM because we needed a cloud-ready, more lightweight solution that could handle remote management more effectively. SCCM was heavy on infrastructure requirements and lacked the remote functionality, direct-to-terminal access, and seamless BitLocker recovery that EPC provides. EPC gave us the same enterprise-level endpoint control with a much simpler deployment model and better support for our distributed environment.

### "Comprehensive On-Prem Endpoint Management with Strong Security and Operational Value"

December 22, 2025

4.0

Overall, our experience with has been very positive. It is a robust, stable, and well-integrated platform that effectively covers endpoint management, configuration management, software deployment, and MDM from a single console. It has improved operational efficiency, strengthened endpoint security, and provides strong value, particularly for organisations that prefer an on-premises, centrally managed solution.

Pros

What I liked most about is that it offers an on-premises deployment with one unified platform covering endpoint management, configuration management, software deployment, and MDM. Administration is straightforward and efficient, and the clear, well-structured documentation makes onboarding, operation, and troubleshooting easy for IT and security teams.

Cons

What I liked least was the requirement for manual profile installation on macOS devices, which requires direct IT team involvement. In addition, macOS administration has more limitations compared to other operating systems, which reduces automation and flexibility in managing Apple endpoints at scale.

### "Strong Patch Management and Endpoint Control Platform"

February 16, 2026

4.0

I am using Manage Engine endpoint central UEM and Security edition product since last 4-5 years and my overall experience with it is very good. In terms of centralised management, we do not require manual configurations with each endpoint, and we can do all the tasked from centralised console/server. Its gives immersive experience while working.

Pros

is the best tool which provided seamless centralised management for Endpoints. It provides industries best solution related to compliance. Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Software distribution part are the best part of this product and they are doing great job.

Cons

Reporting issue comes sometimes, like after patch update, we can see the patch is updated at the endpoint side but on the manage engine portal side machine is still showing pending and syncing time taking too much. Like manage engine says 90 min refresh cycle it will sync but sometimes it takes more that its committed timeline. It should be improved. Deployment to the client of any software and patches also takes some time too much time.

### "Reliable, All-in-One Endpoint Management That Simplifies IT Operations"

March 3, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with has been positive. It’s a comprehensive and reliable endpoint management platform that brings key IT tasks together in one place, which makes managing devices much more efficient. The automation of patching and software deployment has noticeably reduced manual workload, and the remote support tools have helped resolve issues quickly without needing physical access. Reporting and inventory visibility are useful for tracking compliance and asset status. While setup and initial configuration require planning, the ongoing management experience feels streamlined and dependable for our business/company.

Pros

What I like most about is its all-in-one centralized management. Having patching, software deployment, remote control, and asset management in a single console significantly reduces tool sprawl and saves time. The automation, especially for OS and third-party patching, stands out because it minimizes manual effort while improving security compliance. It’s practical, efficient, and built with day-to-day IT operations in mind. We also receive great support from the Manage Engine team when we require assistance with something or request a certain feature. It certainly delivers value for money.

Cons

On MDM, the remote control feature for mobile devices is not stable needs alot of improvement. We end up having to use another prdocut such as Teamviewer host. 2. Having to manually add devices to the Bitlocker management policy everytime a new laptop is setup is also tedious. There shpuld be a way to automatically have this happen.

Endpoint Central is my top app for managing the company's endpoints, and applying patches on them, installing/uninstalling software, and the best assets management in the market. It's easy to use and have a great and friendly GUI that makes it easy to manage everything you need. The dashboard feature is one of the powerful features that can be used to monitor all the assigned assets, and many other things.

Pros

The best amazing part of Endpoint Central is the centralization it provides in case the company doesn't have a unified domain controller.

### "A Robust and Scalable Endpoint Management Solution with Strong Automation Capabilities"

March 25, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with has been highly positive, especially from an operational and technical standpoint. The platform has played a key role in centralizing endpoint management, allowing efficient control over patching, software deployment, asset tracking, and remote troubleshooting from a single console. This has significantly improved visibility across the IT environment and streamlined day to day administrative tasks. One of the biggest advantages has been the automation capabilities, which reduce manual workload and ensure consistency in operations. Routine activities like patch deployment, updates, and policy enforcement are handled efficiently, leading to better compliance and improved security posture. From a performance and scalability perspective, the solution has been reliable in managing distributed environments, including remote endpoints. The remote access tools and real time monitoring have helped in faster issue resolution and reduced downtime. While there are areas for improvement such as UI refinement and advanced reporting flexibility, they do not overshadow the overall value delivered by the platform. In summary, Endpoint Central is a robust, scalable, and cost effective UEM solution that has significantly enhanced IT operations, improved efficiency, and strengthened endpoint security in my environment.

Pros

The most valuable aspect of Endpoint Central is its comprehensive, centralized endpoint management capability combined with strong automation. The patch management module stands out, especially with support for third party applications and policy based automated deployment, which ensures systems remain secure and compliant with minimal manual effort. The ability to manage the entire endpoint lifecycle including software deployment, asset management, configuration enforcement, and remote troubleshooting from a single console significantly improves operational efficiency. Another major advantage is real-time endpoint visibility and control, allowing quick issue identification and faster incident resolution (reduced MTTR). The remote access and troubleshooting tools are highly reliable, which is critical for managing distributed or remote work environments. Additionally, the platform offers a good balance between advanced features and ease of use, making it practical for both mid size and large enterprise environments. Its scalability, stability, and cost effectiveness further enhance its overall value. Overall, it’s a robust UEM solution that helps streamline IT operations, improve security posture, and save significant time through automation.

Cons

While Endpoint Central is a powerful and feature rich solution, there are a few areas where it could improve. The user interface, although functional, can feel slightly dated and less intuitive compared to some modern UEM platforms. Navigating between modules sometimes requires multiple steps, which can impact efficiency for new users. In terms of performance, the console can occasionally lag, especially when handling large scale environments or generating detailed reports. This can slow down administrative tasks during peak operations. The reporting and customization capabilities, while comprehensive, can be complex to configure. Creating highly tailored reports often requires additional effort and a deeper understanding of the system. Another area is deployment flexibility, where initial setup and agent deployment in certain network environments (especially with strict firewall or remote configurations) can require extra manual intervention. Lastly, although customer support is generally helpful, response times in critical scenarios could be improved further to match enterprise expectations. Overall, these are manageable limitations, but addressing them would significantly enhance the overall user experience and efficiency.

Once configured, it significantly reduces manual IT overhead for patch management, software deployment, and remote support. Some rough edges exist in the UI and reporting, but the overall value for an on-premises setup is solid.

Pros

Unified endpoint management (laptops, desktops, mobile) from a single console Easy software deployment and patch management with scheduling options Good asset inventory and hardware/software tracking Remote desktop and troubleshooting features work reliably On-premises deployment option suits data-sensitive environments like BFSI Active Directory integration is straightforward

Cons

Generally, if the tool were not there, the work would be really hard because it simplifies my work, because when I am patching my servers, I don't need to log in to any server i just send the patch and restart remotely. It really facilitates customer support and makes it easy in the we just access machines remotely and support users without issues, and it saves cost and is valued for money instead of us travelling to various branches to install the Windows 11 upgrade. We just initiated the remote deployement and it saved a lot of money for accommodation and travel costs. It supports when doing endpoint management in a way that we can spool the inventory and know those machines that are outdated, and we replace them.

Pros

It is the best tool that I currently use for inventory management, patching my workstation and servers, remote management of my users, resetting my admin passwords, and remote deployment of windows version, as I deployed over 1100 machines remote it just required a restart, and it upgraded

Cons

Linux patching of my servers is still a challenge in the environment, but still troubleshooting it because each time we patch, when we check the servers and run Linux yum update, it still show servers are not patched

### "Overall positive"

April 27, 2026

I am overall happy with the product and prefer having it. It allows me to solve common issues and I have in my daily work. I can solve tickets or analyze a problem without having to bother the user when I dont even have an idea yet. If I've got an issue or something is unclear I can quickly chat with a human supporter to solve my issues. There are a few things I miss and a few things seem unnecessarily complicated. Ordering stuff can also be tricky. For example I have groups for patch management, self service portals for users, specific repeatable installation configurations but I always need to know what the group is called (or at least part of the name) to find it in the custom group list because all I see is a long list that I can sort or search. But I cant sort them in folders for specific purposes (as an example). Some parts arent properly integrated with each other. Initially we didnt set up a scan interval for inventory. Due to that the bitlocker status in the inventory was usually outdated and didnt properly reflect the actual bitlocker status. BUT if I checked in the bitlocker management tab I saw the proper status and codes. Similiary for software recognition. Inventory checks for installed software but in the software deployment for packages I cant utilize it to recognize if a software is installed. All that software deployment/the self service portal cares about is if the software was installed via the self service portal previously.

Pros

Remote Control feature and the ability to utilize own credentials upon UAC Request. Easy software package generation with templates for commonly used software.

Cons

Missing software recognition for software packages (especially for self service portal packages). To many logs on clients that are tricky to filter for the interesting information (for example for failed self service portal installations).

### "Comprehensive Endpoint Management with Minor Usability Challenges"

May 6, 2026

5.0

Pros

One of the things I liked most about is its comprehensive all-in-one approach to endpoint management. It simplifies patch management, software deployment, and asset tracking in a single platform, saving both time and effort for administrators. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate even for non-experts, while automation features significantly reduce manual work. I also appreciate its strong security capabilities, including vulnerability management and compliance support. Additionally, the reporting and monitoring features provide clear visibility into endpoint status, helping teams make faster and more informed decisions. Overall, it is a reliable and efficient solution for centralized endpoint management.

Cons

One of the main drawbacks of is that the initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for new users without prior experience. Some advanced features require additional learning time and proper tuning to work effectively. The interface, while functional, can feel slightly outdated and cluttered in certain areas. Performance may also slow down when managing large-scale environments with many endpoints. Additionally, customization options for reports and dashboards could be more flexible. There are also occasional issues with patch deployment failures, which may require manual intervention to resolve, impacting overall efficiency.
