Very good. Patch Management works well. Remote control access is also secure Inventory of the computers has been useful in many cases.

Pros

I enjoy the prompt support. Chat support is quick and helpful. Items are typically solved with one session.

Cons

More reporting. EPC needs more fields to build reports on. Sometimes if chat does not solve the issue, the ticket can get long and may take a week to solve.

Overall a great product, any issue we have are dealt with by Manage Engine. Costs are reasonable and its easy to scale up.

Pros

One application for all our needs, patching, asset management, remote control and software deployment, powerful and easy to use.

Cons

Creating packages and custom groups needs some work, reports are great but do not reflect in package creation (not the same options). Remote control is laggy and does not stand up to other options which are free like Teamviewer.

It's a solid platform and for the price point compared to alternatives we evaluated, it delivers good value. It's not a "set it and forget it" tool, you need to invest time upfront to structure your patch policies, device groups, and deployment windows properly. But once that's done, day-to-day operations run smoothly. Support has been responsive on the few occasions we've raised tickets. I would recommend it for mid-sized IT teams managing distributed fleets, just go in knowing the reporting side will need some workarounds if you have compliance reporting needs.

Pros

We manage a mix of Windows 11 and MacBooks spread across multiple geographies and Endpoint Central Cloud has honestly made that a lot more manageable than it used to be. The patch management is where it really earns its keep. OS-level and third-party app patching from one console, with automated deployment policies, means my team isn't spending weekends chasing updates manually. Software deployment is straightforward once you've got the packages configured, and the remote control feature is something our helpdesk uses daily. The cloud version specifically is a big plus — no infra to babysit, and agents connect back reliably even for remote employees.

Cons

Reporting is the biggest gap for us when it comes to compliance based audit reports. When you need to demonstrate patch compliance for an audit, the built-in reports don't always give you the granularity or the right terminology that auditors are looking for. You end up exporting to Excel and massaging the data yourself. The UI has improved but it's still quite dense, finding a specific setting when you're in a hurry isn't always quick. And occasionally patch deployment failures come back with error codes.

Endpoint Central wins on simplicity, unified management (MDM + patching + remote + deployment in one console), and cost — making it the better fit for mid-market teams that need to move fast without a dedicated tool-specialist on staff.

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been highly positive. It stands out as a dependable and feature-rich solution that enables organizations to manage endpoints efficiently while maintaining strong security and operational control. The platform delivers significant value by consolidating critical IT management capabilities into a single interface, reducing complexity and improving productivity. Over time, it has proven to be a reliable cornerstone in maintaining system integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting seamless endpoint operations. With continued enhancements in usability and performance optimization, ManageEngine Endpoint Central is well-positioned to remain a leading solution in the endpoint management space and is certainly deserving of industry recognition.

Pros

What impressed me most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its comprehensive, all-in-one approach to endpoint management. The platform seamlessly integrates key functionalities such as patch management, software deployment, asset tracking, and remote troubleshooting into a centralized dashboard. This significantly improves operational efficiency and reduces the need for multiple disparate tools. The automation capabilities are particularly noteworthy. Routine tasks such as patch updates and system maintenance can be scheduled and executed with minimal manual intervention, ensuring both consistency and compliance across the organization. Additionally, the reporting and analytics features provide clear visibility into endpoint health and security posture, enabling informed, data-driven decisions. The user interface is intuitive, making it accessible for both experienced administrators and teams that are scaling their IT operations. Its scalability and cross-platform support further strengthen its position as a robust enterprise solution.

Cons

While ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a powerful platform, there are areas where refinement could enhance the experience further. Initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complex, especially in larger or highly customized environments, and may require additional time and careful planning. Additionally, while the platform offers an extensive range of features, navigating some of the more advanced configurations can feel overwhelming without deeper documentation or guided workflows. Performance can occasionally be impacted when managing very large endpoint environments, particularly during intensive operations such as bulk deployments or large-scale updates. Enhancements in streamlining advanced settings and improving response times during peak operations would further elevate the overall user experience.

Overall this is a fabulous tool, from the patching down to the MDM EPC far exceeds all other products.

Pros

When looking at solutions you want to get the best for the least amount of money. But sometimes you want to spend the extra to get extra. EPC is a machine that allows not only compliance reporting but also down to the ability to image a machine on the fly.

Cons

I am not thrilled with the patch reporting. It would be nice to have more flexibility in the reporting module.
