Pros we were using it as the internal dashboard to help with data analysis. Had a good variety of charts and graphs! Cons While it had plenty of useful features, it was not easy to figure them out. Needed to do a line chart where on x axis needed to be able to select daily, weekly, monthly and yearly options from a drop down menu, which was done eventually, but not very straight forward! I wish the visualizations looked a little better as I tend to use them for stakeholder reports and the visuals do matter. Pros Allows me to make data visualizations and reports quickly. Customizable for my needs, like changing the colors to match stakeholder presentations. Cons Kind of difficult to log into, like with most AWS products. Some features are hard to find. It does the job and gives me the data that I need. It is reliable and I love the easy-to-use interface. Pros What I like most about Quicksight is it's interactive dashboard and visuals, making the experience of using the software very user-friendly. In my opinion, this is especially important and useful when you are using a large tech stack, making it very convenient to use for the user. I also really appreciate the customizable data where I mainly use the line graphs and heat maps for my customer insights. Cons There isn't much cons as the software performs as expected and is reliable to use. However, a suggestion may be to potentially develop an integration with slack or other communications platforms for seamless sharing with colleagues. It creates a simple way to filter, review, customize and establish a process with our team to ensure we are making the correct strategic plans. It's been a helpful tool to build custom dashboards and reports, that save our team time, and energy, when needing to understand where our development needs to go to drive customer retention and acquisition, specifically when it comes to products that are popular based on active subscription. Pros Quicksight is a very customizable and helpful product that allows us to track current account status and customer profiles using AWS data and create dashboards that allow our team to track account health, market status, and customer quantity on a weekly basis. It's simple to set up and makes invoicing, planning, and strategy very easy for operations. Cons The UI feels a little dated and is largely only useful internally. It would be difficult to work this into our customer facing models for enterprise needs that may want to review data as it doesn't fit our design, layout or product.
