### "Easy to use VPN"

February 3, 2025

5.0

Pros

Very easy to connect to a VPN, connects really quickly and I haven't had issues with staying connected for a full day.

Cons

I understand that it is for security reasons, but if my computer goes to sleep I am disconnected from the VPN. Just something to note for those that use VPNs a lot.

### "The great Cisco software review."

July 3, 2025

5.0

My overall experience has been great. I would recommend this software to anybody who has a business at home who has a business and another site location or to anybody that works for a company that only has the option of working on site. it is very convenient and it’s a software that’s able to work in many different ways when it comes to a job title that you do with the company you work for whether it’s at home or on site.

Pros

What I like about this software is that you can connect anywhere using the software whether it is work from home work on site or work in another remote location that’s not from home at any given time. I would use this software mainly for business purposes.

Cons

There are no cons about this software. This software is really great to use. I’ve used it before and it’s very convenient for remote purposes. I can use it during call center business purposes that I do at home or anywhere in an on-site location that I did in my previous jobs that I’ve had.

Pros

For many years, I worked at different companies and Cisco AnyConnect has been serving me well up until now. That brings me stable access to internal resources when working from home, the road or in the field.

### "Provides split tunneling with granular power"

May 26, 2025

4.0

Pros

Cisco AnyConnect enabled me to route only needed traffic via the VPN but keep access to everything local. It’s quite handy when I am multi-network hopping at the same time while working remotely.

Cons

It fails since it doesn't recognize captive portals on public Wi-Fi. It doesn't redirect, it just fails until I disconnect then I disconnect and manually authenticate through a browser.

### "Smoothed accessing corporate infrastructure"

June 9, 2025

5.0

Pros

Cisco AnyConnect allows me to connect to our internal resources but lose access to local internet apps or email. With its equipment setup, switching to client systems or online meetings becomes so far simpler.

Cons

The VPN will disconnect when idle, without a warning and I only notice that when internal systems go down.

### "VPN at its best"

June 30, 2024

5.0

If there were 100 stars for feedback, I would give that to Cisco AnyConnect.

Pros

Integrating Cisco AnyConnect with windows active directory is a perfect solution for managing users in the simplest way. The ability to edit a customer's VPN URL link to a new one is a perfect solution, because you wouldn't need to start the entire setup process over. Just edit and save, plus edit the VPN config file on the DC. Installation is easy and straightforward.

Cons

Downloading the Cisco Anyconnect on Mac is not as easy as it should. This should be listed among free apps that can be downloaded on the IOS store.

### "Robust, secure and reliable VPN for remote work."

May 19, 2023

5.0

Thanks to the ease of implementation and use, Annyconnect was a key tool to keep our operation running normally in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, with the difference that the activities would be performed from different locations, but with the same effectiveness and security as if we were in the office, with anyconnect the adaptation process was simple and short time for our entire team, also anyconnect to be compatible with any device favored even more to the implementation was fast and contingent, it really is very easy to use and navigate the user interface even more, to log in, just fill out the credentials (username and password) and you are ready to perform your daily work, since we use Anyconnect we are confident that all our information is safe, and thanks to its excellent performance has been possible to fully comply with all operational activities of our company.

Pros

I like the ease with which it can be integrated and deployed, it is easy to configure and manage (it is designed so that anyone can use it). Anyconnect provides a secure environment to connect to our corporate network, it is compatible with many devices, it is surprising that a tool so easy to use is so powerful and efficient; Anyconnect works very well and its performance is exceptional, it also keeps our information protected (provides security against viruses, malware, unauthorized websites and other online threats among others).

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about Anyconnect so far, to be very honest it has really worked wonders for us and the benefits we have obtained while using it are countless, I have no negative comments to highlight.

Pros

Simple interface, intuitive to use and easy for first time users. It has enough functionality without being complex. Most of all it simply works day in day out.

Cons

Nothing. Everything works well and there is nothing I could fault. I wish all software worked this well.

### "Stable VPN with Cisco AnyConnect"

April 7, 2021

5.0

We love using Cisco AnyConnect. It is trouble-free. If someone has troubles, we can do logging with it and determine where the issues are. Typically the uses are with home networks' instability rather than the software itself. The one thing Cisco can improve on is their customer support, and having account reps follow up with customers routinely.

Pros

Stability is marvelous. We started using Cisco AnyConnect 1+ years ago before the pandemic and had enough licenses to support the entire company. Our VPN was rock solid. When pandemic hit and we asked staff to work from home, every single person adjusted very well and were very pleased with the stability of their VPN connection.

Cons

Customer support is not the best. Fortunately, the Cisco ASA hardware and Cisco AnyConnect VPN software works so well that we didn't have to call customer support much at all. When we did call, we got limited information that required us to research more and then call support with our findings.

Reason for choosing Cisco AnyConnect

Cisco fit in our environment really well and had the right feature-set for our future growth.

### "A solid VPN client platform for technical and non-technical alike"

February 6, 2018

4.0

Enterprise-class product for VPN access to maintain productivity and security from remote or insecure network locations.

Pros

\- Stable software that is polished and minimalist. - Vendor-supported software; If you have problems, Cisco offers enterprise-level technical support channels for enterprise application managers. - Apple/Windows support, with very similar feature and interface parity. Sometimes this is not the case for some cross-platform applications. - Provide integration for multi-factor authentication (Duo, RSA, etc.) - Flexible design to support multiple VPN profiles, should you need to manage multiple access profiles. - Client software updates are automatically deployed from VPN servers to client end-point installs, making it a very elegant solution for non-technical and technical users alike.

Cons

\- Successful and reliable VPN access is built upon a robust network and a VPN server configuration. Updates pushed to AnyConnect software provided by the company I work for have caused issues for users periodically. This is not necessarily the fault of Cisco AnyConnect, but rather, an issue with communication and coordination of changes between VPN support personnel and end-users. If VPN personnel make changes to the VPN server infrastructure that impacts end-users, its important to consider when and how to coordinate those changes so as to minimize the impact and frustration to end-users.

### " Easy and reliable connectivity with Cisco Anyconnect "

October 19, 2021

4.0

Best Cisco Anyconnect which connects world with just a click

Pros

Work from home has made enormously better by Cisco Anyconnect with his secure ,easy and reliable connectivity remotely anywhere. It is pretty much used everywhere and people are well aware of it since it’s user friendly. I have been using VPN feature and really it’s very nice and no need to worry about hard tokens which had reduced risk of vulnerability and security breach. Super easy to connect remotely specially in this COVID situation . It has multiple routing options and secured completely .Never observed any disconnecting issues while in meeting over 30+ people

Cons

Only cons is that frequently sometimes it gets disconnected and connected automatically and it will last for few mins until it gets stable. It probably disturbs the ongoing meetings or calls which makes me feel little annoying else it’s good

### "Simple secure mobile client tool that works properly"

July 19, 2019

4.0

In overall, I think Anyconnect secure mobile client is a very robust, simple; but effective tool. Provides secure connection and enable you do your work professionally. I highly recommend as a business solution.

Pros

I'm using it as a VPN client to have secure web connection which is required for our mails, online systems or confidential links. First of all, Cisco Anyconnect is a very simple tool with a mini interface which appears at the bottom of your screen. Secondly, due to it's light interface it never cause computer to slow down. Connection speed is high and connection does not get lost most of the times. There is a small menu where you can access connection and certificate settings. You can reach the program from it's hidden icon at the right bottom and you can understand if it's connected or not.

Cons

Connection speed may be quite long if your internet connection is not high enough. Also you may be disconnected due to your speed. I don't think this is depends on software performance.

### "Simple and powerful VPN tool"

June 29, 2022

5.0

It's a great and powerful tool for VPN in a professional environment.

Pros

I have been using AnyConnect since I started working remotely due to the pandemic in March of 2020. I never have had any issues with it. It is fast, the UI is simple and straight-forward. It just works. It works with DUO 2-factor authentication which is great.

Cons

For my case specifically, I have to re-connect every 24 hours, which can be a little annoying because I tend to leave my work computer on during the work week so I don't have to re-open everything where I left off. If I get disconnected from the VPN, it will exit out of all of my windows explorer windows so I have to be aware of that before I stop working for the day that I don't forget any windows I left open.

### "Automatic setup makes for a smooth user experience"

March 19, 2018

4.0

Pros

On the user side, the user-experience is extremely simple: once the client is installed, just enter the VPN server's URL, a username, and a password. Details are saved so that subsequent connections are even simpler, only having to type the password. This is in contrast with configuration steps for other VPN software that I had to deal with in the past: getting the right port, picking the security protocol, entering a "shared secret", etc. Several pages of instruction are replaced by just a few words. Connection is fast, and I haven't noticed any effect on bandwidth.

Cons

The AnyConnect client must be installed on all devices that will connect, which could be an issue if some platforms are not supported. However, all mainstream devices have an easy-to-use client. This ease of use comes at the price of a software license (paid by the service administrators, not the users). When Open Source solutions such as OpenVPN are available, this could be a major drawback.
