Canva has helped us create beautiful ideas and campaigns efficiently, even with limited marketing training. Cons I have nothing negative to say. I LOVE Canva and its ease of use. I appreciate how it speeds up the creation of simple assets, and I particularly love the Brand Kit feature, which I use often. The ability to copy and resize designs is also a game changer as someone who frequently creates the same graphic in multiple aspect ratios. Cons I wish there were more filtering options when searching for elements and assets within Canva's library. For example, I would love to be able to filter built-in graphic elements so that I can specifically find ones that will allow me to change the colors within the element. There are certain areas where Canva's capabilities are limited. I frequently use intersecting graphics and shapes in my designs, and I am unable to do this in Canva. Limits are clear, so even with the free version you are capable of making amazing edits and products that are on brand, visually appealing and educational. Cons It's hard to find something I don't like about it. I'd say the AI image generator can be hit or miss, and the docs feature is clunky for the user, compared to Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Pros Canva has made it easy for anyone to create an amazing document. Although there is still a learning curve with the program, it does not take long to figure out how to use it correctly. The software is great, straight forward, clean and precise. Cons I wish there was an AI bot that could help you along the way. Or customer service that is always available and straight to the point with fixes. No riff raff, no confirming your the account owner. If you’re editing it, you’re allowed to get help on the fly with things. For example, randomly there were some items that could not be grouped together and it would have been great to figure that out with someone. I think they need a way to warp and change text. Not too crazy but simple movements of the text to make it their own. Lastly, they need to showcase their different ways of making things. Cons We've used Canva's printing service a few times and it's not the highest quality so it depends on what we're having printed but sometimes we prefer to go with a local printer. Pros Canva is an excellent free tool to use for design. It contains plenty of animation settings as well as canvases to create highly engaging content for socials media and other platforms. Editing & creating images become easy with the interface of the website allowing anybody with basic skills to be able to use the site. Cons Canvas boxed layers are often difficult to navigate, and any design that is created with multiple layers has no easy method of selecting the back layer if i wanted to edit or change it's shape, often having to move other layers to get to it, can become a timely task to fix. It allows me to create with the flexibility of other softwares like Illustrator but in half the time. I use it equally for recreation, creating random things for myself, content creation, and whatever else. Pros Canva is incredible - there are so many features, and I've made incredible thumbnails for YouTube. There are a ton of apps you can connect to it that let you make even more than I ever thought possible. Now that I've become more involved in content creation, I couldn't imagine not having canva. I can be as creative as I want, or if I need assistance in creating something, it provides solid reference points. Customer service is really responsive, and in the past, they were quick to issue refunds when I needed them, but I am all in with Canva now. You can edit to your heart's desire with photos you upload or provided images. $15/month is totally worth it. Cons Sometimes the user interface is not intuitive and at times frustrating to navigate. Pros I like how easy and user-friendly Canva is. From simple to more advanced designs, there is a huge variety of options to work on while still making the work easy for the user. I like the options to build brand templates and resources for our whole marketing team to use, and the feedback/review options are a great communication tool. Cons Some features could be improved, such as the doc option; it is not very helpful the way it exports. By number of pages would be better. PDF exporting options could be broader, and rules/guides of the pages could have more options.
