### "Design Powerhouse Canva Beats Adobe Products"

December 4, 2025

5.0

I've been very happy with Canva. I used to be the elitist designer who thought you weren't really. "creating" if you weren't using Adobe products... I've never been so happy to eat my words. With the new Affinity collab, I am very strongly considering finally jumping ship with Adobe and going ALL in with Canva. Which is very daunting, and very freeing since I've been paying for Adobe in some way or fashion (product keys and then later CC subscriptions) for over 14 years.

Pros

I love the ease of the user interface, even with more difficult or daunting tasks, such as background eraser, or changing the colors of an element (whether with its innate color picker, or duotone on photos!). This ends up leaving me (a full time designer) running to Canva over something bulky and time consuming like Photoshop or Illustrator. It has also made collaborating SO much easier - previously I could never share work with my team without sending an AI file back and forth. We we would work off the wrong version and end up starting all over. No more with Canva!

Cons

Honestly, Canva is constantly updating, granting "wishes", holding Keynotes to keep us updated on upgrades. Anything over the years that I haven't liked about Canva, gets solved within the year. At the moment, I can't think of anything I am unhappy with. A previous thing was that projects could only hold pages of the same size - but they recently upgraded to hold pages of any size! MAJOR win.

I needed something I could easily collaborate with my team on without having to pay $40/mo per seat and training them all on how to look at something.

### "Great!! Go-to app for all designing needs!!"

November 28, 2025

5.0

Great!! The UI is so good and all features work pretty well I have also tried my hand at publishing my own Canva-powered website, and it's great! I love it!!

Pros

Easy to use! I make visually attractive presentations on a day-to-day basis for meetings and also make notes that come in handy while pitching solutions. It can easily be accessed by team members too for their reference. I use it for making Instagram and other social media posts to make attractive wishes during the festive season. I have tried their AI feature too; it's amazing. Canva is my go-to app for any designing needs!

Cons

I don't dislike anything about Canva; it is simpler to use than any other such platform. I absolutely love it!

### "Canva: A Ferramenta de Design Essencial para Todos!"

August 15, 2025

5.0

Pros

This Product is One of my Favorite Tools I use Almost Daily and its Features and ability to share in a Team Setting is Awesome!

Pros

Canva is great for creating Image Presentations. I have used Power Point since it first came out and now with Canva the Ease of Use for creating Powerful images to use in Presentations is Amazing!

Cons

I have several accounts and trying to keep them organized is something that I am not a fan of, as it is very easy to hope into the wrong account. It doesn't help that they changed the opening interface!

### "High-Quality Results Without the Complexity"

December 19, 2025

5.0

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with Canva. The platform is intuitive and versatile, and it allows me to produce high-quality designs in a fraction of the time it once took. It has truly elevated the way I present and share information.

Pros

Canva has everything in one place—photo editing, AI text and image tools, animation, background remover, stock photos, and more. It’s incredibly intuitive. I can create something beautiful within minutes, without being a professional designer

Cons

Every now and then I go to download a design only to realize I’ve used a premium element I need to pay for.

### "Our design HQ in the cloud. Fast, collaborative, and endlessly useful"

October 21, 2025

5.0

I’m Matías, founder at Anunzi. We migrated from Corel and some Adobe apps to Canva because it’s perfect for a distributed team. It centralizes assets, keeps brand consistency, and lets multiple people create, comment, and approve in real time. Ease of use is excellent; new hires become productive on day one. Features cover 90% of our marketing needs, image editing, layouts, animations, and quick exports for web and print. Image editing handles background removal, color tweaks, and retouching well enough for campaign speed. Video editing is ideal for short social clips and explainers; when we need advanced audio or effects, we export to another editor. Value for money is outstanding considering how much production time it cuts, and customer support plus the help center have been responsive whenever we needed guidance. Frequent updates keep adding smart AI tools and quality-of-life improvements without breaking our workflows. Five stars because Canva became our design HQ and materially reduced turnaround times across clients and channels.

Pros

What I like most is how quickly our remote team can move from idea to publishable assets. Real-time collaboration, shared brand kits, and a central library for templates, photos, and logos let us keep everything in one place and ship faster. The templates are genuinely good, so we can adapt them to campaigns in minutes instead of hours, and features like background remover, Magic Design, and instant resize save a ton of time for ads, social, and client decks.

Cons

Canva isn’t a full replacement for advanced motion graphics or pixel-level edits, heavy compositing and very fine typography control still fit better in pro tools. Large multi-page designs can feel slow on weaker laptops, and video editing, while improving, is simpler than a dedicated NLE. None of these have been blockers for our day-to-day.

Switched from

[Adobe Illustrator](https://www.capterra.com/p/227125/Adobe-Illustrator/)[CorelDRAW](https://www.capterra.com/p/124823/CorelDRAW/)

We switched because Canva fits a remote, fast-moving team better. Real-time collaboration, shared brand kits, and templates let us produce on-brand assets in minutes without passing heavy files around. The browser workflow, easy permissions, and predictable pricing gave us more speed and value than our mixed Corel/Adobe setup for day-to-day marketing work.

### "User friendly and approachable"

January 7, 2026

5.0

Overall, I find Canva easy to use and effective for my design needs. I enjoy creating flyers, slide decks and social media content on this platform more than any other.

Pros

Canva is super user friendly and allows for better design collaboration than other platforms. The templates are great for inspiration and building off of, and I'm always satisfied with my final product. The resize tool is also a game changer when switching projects from one format to another.

Cons

The free version seems to have become more limited over time, which makes the platform less accessible than it used to be. However, I find the paid user experience to be worth it.

### "A marketing must have!"

November 4, 2025

5.0

Canva is an innovative and effective program and our team uses it regularly to present and create high quality information. With easy to use templates and a huge variety of graphics and options, we are always pleased with the way our designs turn out.

Pros

Canva is an amazing tool used by our marketing and events team each week. The ability to share designs amongst team members is crucial, and the amount of features, images, and editing capabilities is well worth the money. We have been able to create professional looking presentations, invitations, flyers, postcards, programs, and more. Not only is it easy to use, but it's fun and the printing option always turn out great.

Cons

There are times that certain editing options are not user friendly - that perhaps they would take someone with a little more knowledge of the program or photo editing to use to their fullest potential.

My experience with canva has been great since day one, It helped me create flyers, banners, business cards and everything needed for my business easy and fast.

Pros

I like the quantity of designing resources it has and the quality of it, on Canva I can create beautiful marketing materials in a matter of minutes, with its templates and easy platform.

Cons

### "The Canva Experience from a HR Perspective"

November 13, 2025

4.0

my overall experience is great they have many templates to choose from. I use canva for SOPs Employee handbooks, organizational charts poster and even youtube banners.

Pros

Canva was the first tool that i created my digital products. I love Canva it allowed me to be creative learn to graphic design. I also like that i am now able to give Canva a prompt to create a image for me as long as i give it instructions and i no longer have to spend time looking for what to create in that aspect. The AI feature is great.

Cons

Now with AI generating images that we currently want when we ask and how we want. I think the AI feature needs to be enhanced. Canva can definitely go to the next level if they incorporate better features into their AI. at times the pricing can be unaffordable so i use it when i can and i pay when i can. I use the free feature predominantly.

### "Fast design for non designers"

October 29, 2025

5.0

I make social posts, slides, and short clips way faster than in big design apps. Drag, drop, tweak, done. It is perfect for quick content, class projects, and small business work. When I need frame perfect edits, I still jump to a pro editor. For most daily stuff, Canva is enough.

Pros

Huge template library for posts, slides, logos, and videos. I can remove backgrounds in one click and keep colors and fonts in a brand kit. Real time comments and shared folders make group work easy. The free plan works, and Pro adds a lot of stock content and AI tools.

Cons

Video and photo editing are simpler than pro tools, so complex timing or precision can be hard. Some exports and advanced brand tools sit behind Pro or Teams. Teams pricing changed for some users and got more expensive. Heavy files can lag in the browser.

### "Canva can do it "

5.0

I love Canva, I first started using it while in an administrative position but have carried it with me into my own business and career, it’s super versatile, I can make spreadsheets to help with my expenditures, social media posts, and even Christmas cards

Pros

I love the versatility, templates and art aspects, super user friendly a novice can do it, if it was a guitar hero song it would be easy mode. Makes everything look professional and clean

Cons

The resizing and exporting options and that it automatically saves to a zip file, it makes it a little bit harder to streamline if you need to export multiple illustrations etc

### "Design tool that is very capable at helping you with essential tasks."

April 30, 2026

5.0

The overall experience I had with this system proved to be excellent. I use Canva as my primary tool for creating visual content because it allows me to design without using complex design software. The system performs its intended function by providing users with fast and efficient graphic design tools which they can use to complete their daily tasks.

Pros

Canva's user-friendly design is my primary reason for loving the platform. The drag-and-drop interface lets users create designs easily while the extensive collection of ready-made templates helps me design graphics and presentations and basic UI mockups. The program serves as an essential tool that helps people with no design background.

Cons

The software provides basic features for users who want to create advanced designs but its limitations become apparent when handling complex vector editing and detailed layer work. The search interface becomes cluttered because premium "Pro" elements do not suit users who need to find basic free assets.

Pros

### "Brilliant programme, can't imagine using anything else"

October 19, 2025

5.0

It's a brilliant programme with full customisation and functionality and really easy for most people to use. It's great for designers and non-designers alike as you can choose from designing fresh or using their templates, but don't bother with any of the AI services.

Pros

Canva is super affordable and a great user-friendly option for people who need quality designs but don't have the design skills to use the likes of PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc. It's also great for video editing so a great programme for social media managers and those in marketing who are looking after social accounts and having to make a lot of videos on a regular basis. The templates are brilliant and easy to create quality graphics in no time. However, if you are a professional designer, you can also start from scratch creating whatever you need in any dimensions. It's now my preferred programme to work with designers in as they can create custom graphics for brands inside Canva and then Canva is easy for the clients to use if they need to edit anything in the future. The free version of Canva also comes with so many features. And if you do need the premium features, it's still an affordable subscription.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Canva is the new AI features are extremely bad. Honestly, they're not worth using at all and I don't know why Canva are pushing so hard for users to use them. They have the collab with ChatGPT where you find Canva features through ChatGPT, and then a generative design service inside Canva. They're both really poor quality, not returning accurate results whatsoever.

Canva is amazing. I use it daily at my day job. I use it for my husband's business and for my own entrepreneur business. I started out using it as a personal use by doing my own wedding invites.

Pros

I love using Canva for the ease of use and the value for the money. Canva offers so many features and options for designing and creating. I use it at work and home daily.

Cons

Wow that's tough. I haven't been impressed with the AI when it comes to the farming industry. The graphics it designs are not realistic. They look computer generated. (Which they are)

### "Awesome for basic creative design"

October 9, 2025

5.0

Canva has been one of the most intuitive creative tools I've used so far, after being a dedicated Adobe Illustrator fan. Overall I'm very happy with Canva, and start off using it over any other tool because of how easy it is to use and the simplicity of its features.

Pros

I start with Canva for every graphic/social media post, because it's easy to use and I've been able to create basic graphics much quicker than before. My particularly favourite feature is the "Copy Style" button, makes everything easier being able to apply a previously applied style to a new element! And video editing has been great so far, especially for caption design - we've been happy with the stylization Canva offers. I know the paid versions would be wonderful but to be honest I've been very happy with the free version with what I've needed it for so far.

Cons

My least favourite part to Canva is how premium/paid elements, templates, etc. are shown in search results, and feel like they dominate results. So much so that if they removed premium elements from those who have free accounts, it wouldn't offer much at all in that regard. It can be challenging to wade through to find quality items mixed with all of the premium elements.

My experience has been really good with canva. It has allowed me to design all of the graphics we need for the org and not have to out source to someone else. Has saved us 1000's every year.

Pros

I like that it's free to use for anyone and you can use it anywhere with an internet connection. It has a lot of great features even some better than Adobe design software. I like that multiple people can collobaorate on a design instead of sending emails back an forth they can just log in make edits or leave notes. I love that as a nonprofit we get the pro version for free. It has really helped us elevate our designs

Cons

I don't have many cons and they are very small. I wish we had more options with text in editing the text or importing custom fonts. It would be awesome to be able to type allong a line or shape like you can in photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

### "Easy design tool that saves time, just a bit slow sometimes"

April 15, 2026

4.0

Overall my experience with Canva has been really good. It’s my go‑to tool when I need to make something fast without opening heavy software. I use it for work tasks like quick banners, social posts, and simple presentations. It saves me time and I don’t have to rely on a designer for every small thing. There are small issues like lag or limited offline use, but nothing major. For everyday design work, it’s reliable and easy to learn.

Pros

What I like most about Canva is how quick it is to make something that actually looks good. I use it at work for small designs, posters, quick slides, and even simple videos sometimes. The templates save a lot of time, and I don’t need to be a designer to make things look clean. Drag‑and‑drop editing is super easy, and the built‑in elements and photos help when I don’t have assets ready. I also like that it works in the browser, so I can switch between devices without losing anything.

Cons

Some features are locked behind the paid plan, and sometimes I hit those limits when I’m trying to do something small. The mobile app works but editing on a phone feels cramped and not very smooth. A few times the website lagged when I added too many elements to a design. Offline access is limited, so if the internet is slow I can’t really work properly. Also exporting videos can take a bit longer than expected.

### "Canva is Great!"

December 1, 2025

5.0

Overall, I thoroughly enjoy using Canva. It is incredibly easy to use and create custom projects for anything you can imagine. You can add collaborators for group projects. It is truly a wonderful product, and I love it!

Pros

Canva is a versatile tool for a wide range of projects. It is easy to use, offers a wide variety of customization options, and features numerous visually appealing templates. I have used Canva for a variety of projects, and each time I am pleased with the results. Canva allows for dynamic project creation and even has AI prompt writing to help you achieve what you are looking to create.

Cons

At this time, I don't think I've encountered anything I dislike about Canva. The only thing I do wish is that you could share a presentation with Opti-signs that could be updated in Canva and automatically update the Opti-signs feed.
