You can basically create all sorts of designs for any department in your business (From Finance sheets to Marketing campaigns). Pros Canva is a life saving platform which enables the user to create any design. It´s very user-friendly, so anyone with a few skills can create templates with the ongoing assistance provided by Canva. Cons it would be great if Canva could have detailed tutorials on video for most of the platform. I know for a fact that the tools are very intuitive, but for some beginners, it would be great to have additional videos. But best of all; I loved that It has been very user-friendly and very engaging. I get more creative ideas by always using Canva with just spending time doing stuff here and there for my clients and my friends and I love that it's always not disappointing because my clients end up happy and my friends always want to dive in and start using it as well. Pros I loved the fact that anyone can use it and the more you keep using it the more you boost your interest in becoming a professional designer. And we like that we can copy designs, which is useful for our fliers that we re-use each year but change small details. Pros No matter how much I say about Canva, I don't find it to be the best platform because I get everything I need in CANVA, be it web design or photo editing, the work that takes hours can be done in minutes. We have over 120 apartment communities that we manage, and Canva is a great solution for our marketing team to consistently push out professional looking material. Pros I use this for social media graphics, business cards, marketing collateral, essentially everything. It is so easy to use, allowing for custom designs or awesome pre-made templates if you are feeling lazy. Considering you receive access to a crazy amount of stock photos, shapes, designs, etc. with a very inexpensive Premium membership, it is a no brainer. You can even print your designs for cheaper than any printing company I've looked at. Cons It would be awesome to be able to work collaboratively live time on a design from multiple locations/users (like Google Sheets), but other than that recommendation, I have no issues with the software. Canva is super powerful, lends itself well towards collaboration, and resizes project extremely well. There are asset libraries that make creating whatever you need fast and beautiful. What really sets canva apart from other similar software though, is the incredible bank of templates that they have, created largely by a community of designers. The are drag and drop to replace templates that help you feel more confident in your choices. On the paid plan, you can also have your branding setup, saving any additional click you might need to stay within standards. Cons Occasionally, like any web app - the site goes down. (this is pretty rare) . They are proactive about it on Twitter however, and watching the panic unfold during those rare times is always amply entertaining. Cons I think the images are what limits Canva the most, it's not everything we find when we search, sometimes I have to choose similar things because I didn't find exactly what I wanted. I say that for both the images and the elements! Another thing I don't like is not having the option of automatic subtitles in the app itself, I think that nowadays it's crucial to have this tool! Pros I am a freelance designer who needs to create business cards for clients, I went to the site and discovered that Canva was able to generate a business card template, and not only that, but there were a host of other kinds of graphic templates, which allowed me to create an advertisement, logos and other forms. Cons While Canva is an awesome tool I use it for my product descriptions, social media posts and more. I wish it was free, but I don't mind paying for its ease of use. It's fun to use and it's an essential tool for bloggers and designers. I love how they also provide lots of layout designs, dimensions, and templates. Cons It's lacking in advanced functionalities that could be useful if added in the future. For example...text cutouts, circular templates, 3D texts. Also, the image quality is reduced when downloading in jpeg, so it's better to download in PDF then export to JPEG on another program. Also, photos only retain their best quality when uploaded the first time. It automatically saves the uploaded photo in the gallery, but it doesn't save the original photo, so the next time you use the same photo, it comes out a bit blurry.
