Makes my life as a bookkeeper very easy to track payments made on invoices issued. I have definitely recommended it to clients as an option for invoicing. Pros I really like the invoicing features on the online Sage version. As a bookkeeper, it is VERY easy to track the payments made on invoices when you are not necessarily the one who is doing the invoicing. There are also great filters that can be activated depending on what you want to see. Cons I really have only used the online Sage invoicing features so I can't speak to the rest of the program, unfortunately. I would really like to become more familiar with it overall and think it might be a better alternative to Quickbooks Online. Pros I liked the intuitive nature of the program and auto integration of being able to issue invoices and collect payments automatically. Cons I can't upload our bank feed as it's from a credit union. I'm not a huge fan of the bank rec process. I'd also like the ability to create custom reports. I wish I never would've used it in the first place. I should have used Quickbooks. Too late until year end. Pros Very little. There is nothing positive to say about this program. It wastes huge amount of time. I wish I would've gone with QB's. Cons The banking module is the worst! When you click on a reconciliation it tries to use the current date and then you have to clear everything to get started. I have wasted so much time on this one issue, it is crazy. You can't force Sage to do a bank update. One of my accounts hasn't connected in over 6 months. Invoice processing, bank reconciliation and generating financial statement has proven to be a reliable accounting software. Pros Using of sage small business cloud accounting I can confidently say it has given a completely different way we manage our accounts and finances. First of all, it is well organized and with minimal training you can use it. The financial report are clear as like, generating Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial balance and Cash Flow statement just a few click. It also time saving due to you can reconcile automated bank transactions. You can generate recurring invoices. It is highly recommended for small to medium sized business. Cons I know sage accounting software is user friendly but few areas need improvement. For example, customer support is not always easy for online or cloud accounting compare with desktop sage accounting. This is not helpful when you need a quick answer. Pros The best part of Sage is the banking connections. Although they sometimes disconnect, the ability to load in transactions drastically reduces the administrative load of bookkeeping. Cons No YE closing date so you have to remove prior year P&L to all for COA to be accurate in current year. There should be a close period to allow for YOY performance comparison. It was easy for me to jump back into Sage. Pros I like the ease of use and the value for my money. I work with 3 different accounts and switching from one to the other is so easy, instead of having to log out and back in with the different account. As I have 3 accounts the time savings is important. Cons I'd like all 3 payments taken out at once, not at different times. Paying one lump sum helps me with money management too.
