It was so easy to use and it came with a tutorial to set up. Pros Very easy to use with Google Sheets. Makes it very easy for me to see what clients are being emailed and which emails bounced back. Any user, from low-tech to amateur dev to more experienced dev can make powerful use of the feature set that GMass offers, for a fraction of the cost of a commercial mass-mail tool like Mailchimp. It is easy to integrate with Google Sheets, and easy to implement through the GMail extension and add-on. Maintaining an address list in Google Sheets was crucial for our organization. Online documentation is thorough, and the company provides multiple examples that should cover practically any use case that you are attempting to accomplish. Tech support is quick and efficient. After vetting many comparable services, we have come back to GMass again and again! Pros Easy integration with Gmail Good tech support options Thorough documentation & use cases Expandability and customizable to our needs Secure using the Gmail interface Cons This is not so much about GMass as it is about Google: You are limited to GMail's daily sending limits (500 for individual accounts; 2,000 for workspace). GMass gives you some ideas for working around this, but it's best to consider staying within the posted limits. It does not include pre-built email templates or an "email builder" like you would see in a marketing tool like SquareSpace. You are limited to what you can compose in GMail, or by building an email with HTML and importing the raw HTML in yourself. (Embedding images are another issue.) There are workarounds to both raw HTML emails and embedding images, though, and the GMass team has a thorough article about the methods you can use. I realized that I'm basically double paying for mass email and GMass felt like it clogged my inbox. It works for plain text emails, however I didn't really find much other benefit personally. And, I regret spending the money on it. Other people have found it really useful and leaving high reviews. I'm just feeling I could have done without it. Cons The customer service is awful and the website is a little bit of a run around to find your help/support answers. There is no chat function on the site nor a way to contact them. I didn't realize my subscription was still going until I got a card ping today. I immediately canceled the account and went to find customer service to ask them to stop payment since. In order to get a refund, I had to search the site. Then, you can only connect with customer service if you have GMass attached to your emails. I'd already pulled the chrome extension off my computer. Without the GMass extention, you cannot get a hold of customer service. To me, this is dishonoring to the customers that pay money monthly to use a product. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend GMass. Review Source MW Marieke W. Pros What I like most is that besides sending bulk emails for my surveys, I can also see how many people opened the email. This insight is a huge benefit for me. It's also great that I can see how many people clicked on the link in the email. This lets me send reminder emails only to those who haven't clicked yet. Installation was very easy, and the app quickly connected with my Gmail. Everything can be managed right from Gmail, and it works well with Google Drive spreadsheets. Cons It's not always clear to me which link within an email is being tracked for clicks, if you are. having multiple link there. Pros I've been using it since 2017, and even tho I tried couple of other similar apps along the way none of them was that much powerful in terms of all the possible options/settings you can involve in each campaign. This is really great all-in-one engine that's gona help you with sending big campaigns to your subscribers and maintaining high-delivarability and as customized as possible. The fact that the app itself is still evolving is making it even better. Cons The only one bad thing I could say about it - bc this is not a bad thing for me really personally - that it could be a little overwhelming for beginner users to use it properly, but that's only due to the variety of options it gaves you.
