Overall, I think I like celtra, especially in comparison to others we've used in the past. It's pretty easy to use and customer service is really helpful.

Pros

That their tags can update without having to adjust in our ad server

Cons

Sometimes, some of their settings can seem a bit confusing. For example the automatic click event definition is "first interaction" meaning any interaction with the ad, swiping, hovering, etc would be counted as a click. This is a completely nonsense way of measuring interaction but is somehow the automatic setting?

Pros

IT's super easy to develop display units super quickly. Also, the integration that it has with most advertisers/ publishers is great, there is no need to create multiple versions of a unit, one works for all.

Cons

You can create simple experiences, but as soon as you want to create a more robust experience you will need to do them by using an iFrame.

What I like the most is that it is a user-friendly platform.

Pros

Even for someone like me, who is not an expert in Creative development. I find Celtra's Creative Management Platform fairly easy to navigate.

Cons

Nothing really. When I have trouble navigating. I contact Celtra Support right away. And they are always available to help.

If you and your client are both crazy over metrics, this is precisely the platform for you. Trust me.

Pros

A client of ours was adamant we double-checked all of his metrics through Celtra's, at first we were a bit put off but within a month we totally got what this guy was thinking. There are platforms for marketers and platforms for clients, Celtra's hits a sweet spot while simultaneously pleasing savvy clients.

Cons

You get every metric in a sensible fashion and even projected audience behavior like engagement, cpm and video playbacks. If anything, simpler companies can get overwhelmed by its efficiency.

Pros

The reporting feature for this is very simple to use! I have to pull a ton of reporting for campaigns with custom creative and you'd think because it's all custom, pulling the celtra data would be the most difficult but it honestly ends up being the most pleasant. It just is organized well and easy to export.

Cons

I wish there was a glossary as to which levers mean what. For example, what is considered a "engagement" for the custom unit I am pulling for? What is the benchmark? This way I can give rich insights to my client. However, when I reach out to our contact, they are helpful in answering these questions.

Pros

The product is easy to learn and provides a lot of great functionality. It enables our team to create ad formats with no knowledge of coding via the designer interface. In particular for creating rich media display campaigns with video embedded.

Cons

I used to love the Celtra Ad gallery showcasing examples of work. it seems to be no longer live.

Easy to use, great animations, easy to traffic and share links.

Pros

That I don't have to know how to write code to create great animations. I love how easy it to use video also.

Cons

I wish there was more control with the animations the way Flash was, but other than that I have no major complaints. Much better than Google Web Designer.

Good tool to use when working and the times when there is a fault, the customer service is on hand to troubleshoot.

Pros

User interface is nice and clean. Particularly like the sidebar options which is great for navigating and searching.

Cons

Loading time can sometimes take a while - whether it's logging in or loading creatives. As with relying on API connection, sometimes this causes linking of platforms to not work. Troubleshooting this could be helped if feedback message is given after error - to indicate which platform is at fault.

Overall experience with Celtra so far is great. It's an amazing platform for building Rich Media advertisements. It's an easy to use platform and can be taught quickly.

Pros

I really like the components panel and all the different features you can do. My favorite is the weather component and being able to add sparkles and snow to your ads. This software is a lot better than other platforms I have used (such as Sizmek) for Rich Media advertisements.

Cons

I don't like how the timeline is laid out and the animation is somewhat difficult to figure out when first attempting it. The animating could be made simpiler

the software is so flexible. You can custom every single element of your creative to make it look the way you need it. Celtra always comes up with new features and Ad formats to stay state of the art. The support team always answers really quickly and also provides custom-built soultions.

Cons

All the different possibilities are sometimes overwhelming. You need some time when starting to get familiar with all the features and options.

Pros

Is very easy to create ads, most of the publishers accept the format and the dashboard of data is very complete, besides of the data of your campaign, it shows you a benchmark of the industry and it let you take better decisions about optimization or if your campaign was successful or not.

Cons

The only problem that I found is the discrepancies between celtra data and the adserver like DFA/DCM or Sizmek, so as an agency that represents an issue because to optimize the campaign you have to do double review of the numbers.

Cons

I find it difficult to navigate through the different sections of the tool. Also, the reporting tool isn't super intuitive and its difficult to create the exact report you want.

Pros

dcm does not report on device IDS (ios and android advertiser ids) for the mobile ads but celtra will give that information to the client

Cons

impressions, ad calls, ads served, auctions won on display are all mismatched in reporting. dcm has a more generic tag that works streamlined across more display networks

I'd recommend it as it was easy to use and find placements. The only cautionary thing I would say is the creative preview is not an accurate reflection of ad behaviour on site, and the RM reporting was unreliable even though at first when I was using it it was great.

Pros

When I used it as a campaign manager, I liked that I didn't have to repbulish tags on a placement, you could just switch out the creative ID behind it easily.

Cons

All the snags that kept cropping up, with code and ticking boxes in set up.

Easy to customise and develop products to suit client.

Pros

Many in built features make it easy to make rich media banners and set up templates for commonly used formats. UI is very intuitive and the platform is constantly updated with new features. Extensive patch notes are useful for keeping track of changes.

Cons

While Email support is excellent, support website is lacking, mainly in the area of custom Javascript

Pros

I like how easy it is to create ads and share demos with clients. It's also easy to update and incorporate client feedback, which makes approvals faster.

Cons

I find metrics beyond clicks and views hard to understand. They are so many and I'm unsure how they're defined so I'm unsure if they're that helpful. If there was a way to create standardization, then it would be easier to combine these measures with DFP, Moat, etc.

We can deliver our clients good performance with the help of this tool. We have yet to run into problems meeting their KPIs.

Pros

I mostly like the user interface. It is fairly easy to navigate and the creative preview tool functions well.

Cons

I least appreciate the time-consuming, click-happy nature of the platform. For example, when we create RichMedia placements the process can take hours if done by one person (depending on the amount of tags we are handed). Lastly, the lack of a bulk-upload feature is a bit of a killer.

Only creative building but not much supporting operations people in reporting, setting up placements, bulk uploading etc, which really consume productive time.

Pros

UI & certain functions are really good.

Cons

Reporting & copy feature. When I copy a placement it just remove all the check boxes selected tracking check boxes. You can't put mixed reporting matrices and always get discrepancy with celtra creatives.
