Pros The web based UI is makes it super easy to manage content, layouts, and schedules. The software is compatible with all the major system on chip and digital signage player hardware on the market. Cons Other software platforms have greater ability to customize the formatting of table based data. Wallboard does a good job as well but the procedure could be a little more intuitive. As a person who has known the field of digital signage for quite a few years, I can say with confidence that this is one of the leading platforms in the market. Pros Great signage software. On the one hand - the software is very convenient and end-user friendly with a convenient and understandable content editor and an excellent graphical interface. On the other hand - the software supports a wide range of advanced applications such as database integration, sensors support, touch screens, alerts, statistics, information analysis, user management and much more. Cons More advanced text editor and more social widgets. Reasons for choosing Wallboard Display I found it much more easy for the end - user but still very advanced in features and possibilities. They have a very good API, Webhooks, internal databases, can interact with external databases, they have implemented loads of sensors (i.e. motion, RFID, AI camera and so much more). This makes the possibilities endless and is mostly limited by your own imagination. Cons Sometimes hard to find all the correct documentation but more and more is getting added every day. Sweet spots are data, sensors, interactivity and overall easy of use for any type of digital signage deployment (house of worship, hospitality and gaming, corporate coms, contact center, supply chain metrics and KPI's, etc. Pros The content editor is super easy to use with click-drag-drop functionality, yet has a surprisingly deep feature set if needed Cons Would like additional social media integrations like Instagram.
