Site24x7, being a SaaS-based solution, eliminated much of that effort and provided out-of-the-box monitoring capabilities with easier setup and faster onboarding. Additionally, Site24x7 offered better cloud and application monitoring features, which aligned more closely with our evolving infrastructure needs.

Pros

Site24x7 immediately filled the void we had - having a third party monitor public services to make sure our platform was online and available for our clients. The entire process from reviewing the product to deploying took just a few days. We onboarded our team and quickly started deploying monitors. Add in being able to host a status page and allow users to subscribe to alerts? Cherry on top.

Cons

What I like least is their SMS credit recharge system for allowing subscribers to receive SMS alerts when we post an update to our status page. But honestly, if that's my biggest drawback, I'm not complaining.

Now, we often detect a "down" state or a functional glitch and fix it before the partner or their users even notice there was a problem. It has significantly improved our reputation as a reliable white-label partner and reduced our support ticket volume.

Pros

As a provider of white-label dating software (SkaDate), we manage a portfolio of dozens of dating apps—both our own projects and those of our partners. Site24x7 is a game-changer for maintaining this scale. We’ve implemented Synthetic Transaction Monitoring to track critical user journeys, specifically the login flow and the core "search/discovery" functions. It ensures that the API returns matches correctly and users can access their accounts without issues. The ability to monitor everything across a mix of AWS and Hetzner infrastructure while handling heavy asynchronous tasks is exactly what a high-load dating platform needs.

Cons

Setting up complex synthetic scripts for mobile app monitoring can be time-consuming and requires a bit of a learning curve to get the configuration exactly right. Also, the alert noise can be high initially, so you need to spend some time fine-tuning the thresholds for each of the dozens of apps in the portfolio.

It has become critical to maintain advertisers happy. It is critical that you know immediately that a station has failed when you're dealing with $2M worth of annual contracts. It was very painful to set up, but is now self-operating. When it means not losing the last advertising deal because of dead air, it's worth every penny!

Pros

Uptime monitoring alerts us to our streaming problems before our client calls to complain. Last month it notified me that our transmitter in Dallas is going down at 2am - saving a huge advertiser relationship. All client meeting materials and information are displayed on Dashboard. Real time notifications are sent directly to my phone, so that I can let advertisers know about any disruptions right away.

Cons

It took me three weeks to get custom alerts set up, and I was going back and forth with support. I'm having issues with my copy of the app crashing on my iPhone 12 roughly twice per week. Also, wonder why pricing is not more transparent, took some negotiating to get a reasonable price to monitor 47 stations.

Simple UI, user friendly to understand the things, verify simple to integrate with cloud native environments, good security postures , also good in license cost, best in customer support, great in customization of alerting and custome integrations , very easy to setup

sometime UI seems very laggy and heavy , sometime polling intervals are also like very sticky they didn't get realtime values

We went from 4 hours to 45 minutes to respond to equipment failures after six months of using Site24x7. Well worth the pains of setup. Security features met our ISO Audit requirements. Not ideal for facilities management, but an improvement over spreadsheets and manual rounds.

Pros

Our building automation systems are monitored by the server monitoring without having to check manually all the time. Email alerts alert before tenants complain of HVAC failures. Mobile application to view equipment status while onsite working. On our company size, price point is effective, we pay less than hire another technician just for monitoring.

Cons

Initial configuration took three weeks, documentation assumes background in IT area. We required assistance from our support team to have custom alerts on our Mitsubishi chillers. Monitoring multiple properties is too cluttered on dashboard, would like to have different views for each building.

Cons

The sheer number of menus can be overwhelming for a new user. It takes a few weeks to really "master" where everything is located.

There is not such things to least like about the product overall the product is in right direction but their are few things such as false alarms are creating panic situations in company infra.

i have good experience with site24x7. We have switched from nagios which is open source to site24x7 monitoring by zoho.

Pros

site24x7 give is variety and options to monitor various applications. Site24x7 have big range of custom plugins which do the job very well.

Cons

some of the parameters give alert and notifi9cation very late like windows update. when server is in reboot state , and when it came up, windows monitor shows down.

Overall, it’s been a great experience. The onboarding process and demo sessions were extremely helpful and made it easy to get started and understand how to make the most of the platform. One thing I really liked was being able to view the running processes and tasks on our VMs directly from the Site24x7 portal — it saved us from constantly remoting into machines just to check what’s going on. That kind of visibility makes day-to-day management a lot smoother.

Pros

The setup was quick, and it didn’t take long to start seeing real value. I also appreciate how detailed the metrics are and how customizable the alert rules can be. It helps us catch issues early without getting flooded with noise.

Cons

Some parts of the UI feel a bit clunky, especially when managing large numbers of monitors or editing alert settings in bulk. Also, the alerts via SMS and phone call are limited unless you buy extra credits, which can be inconvenient during high-priority incidents.

Site 24x7 is great. It is super easy to use and I never have a complaint with it. It's something I log into daily and leave alone and have browser notifications on so when an issue is present, I can easily see what's going on.

Pros

It makes it super easy to monitor devices on our network. We can easily identify a problem device and troubleshoot within minutes.

Cons

It can cause a bit of a panic if something is reported as down when it is just having slow ping time. However, this is something that can be adjusted so this really isn't a con to Site 24x7!

Pros

Being able to have constant alerts of what is happening in our infrastructure. This tool also keeps you alert since the changes are live, and the administrative staff can see the problems.

Cons

I like everything; I would say the price could be cheaper, since it's only a tool to detect problems and monitor.

Site24x7 is a very cost effective solution for monitoring, quick and easy. Then, if you spend the time, you can also go further and setup a lot of things you need. Cost is clearly described, performance is good, and support is responsive.

Pros

It is easy to install and startup with. Connection to AWS is easy and gives enough details for standard monitoring.

Cons

The Real User Monitoring is quite expensive compared to the rest of the solution, and is not 100% usable if your site is heaving heavy traffic, unless you spend the money.
