We have always had good results and our support has been one of the best features. The QDM team has always been supportive with trainings and listening to issues or enhancements that we have asked for. Pros QDM answers many questions before the engineers even ask, run charts, stats, capability CP CPK. Easy to use and gives a nice graphical roadmap so it is simple to see where the measurements were taken. Cons Larger reports like a full Instrument Panel and be a little bit time consuming to get the images set up. Reasons for choosing QDM SPC System the support, our company already uses DCS (QDM parent company) for contract employees so we already had a working relationship with them. It is customizable to allow us to focus exactly on what we want to measure and report. It eliminates any guess work and allows all engineers to focus on real data and root cause and make adjustments to the process quickly. Cons Not any fault of the software, but the fear of change and sharing data amongst all engineering communities can be frightening to engineers. Once we got past the fear of real data we have started to make real improvements. Reasons for choosing QDM SPC System The ability to use real data in our 3DCS models is extremely appealing. Additionally, be letting the data speak for itself we have taken the personal involvement out of the equation and focused only on the data.
