Pros Nitro is definetly a good pdf reader and converter, it is really solid and stable while reading, it doesn't freeze as much as other readers and it is surprizingly not that heavy. Voluntario Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Excellent software and very useful" June 10, 2018 5.0 With this software I have been able to save paper and time by avoiding unnecessary printing, since I can digitally add the signature and stamp of the documents I sent by email Pros It is very easy to use, you can convert files from office to pdf in simple steps, you can also add the user's handwritten signature and the company stamp in a digital way, so you can avoid printing the document to sign and seal and then re-digitize it to send it via email. It allows to create a virtual printer to create pdf when printing as does Google Chrome. Cons I think it should have a price option of one to ten users, since the price is high for a basic user. Nitro has greatly reduced the need to print and scan documents, while providing e-sign capabilities most customers now expect. Pros Priced way less than dotloop and DocuSign, with added benefit of full function PDF editor. Reduces need to scan and print documents. I like that e-signature parties automatically receive fully executed document via email attachment vs. having to go online and download from a site. Cons Desktop interface could be better and a bit more intuitive. Also wish the templates in cloud mode could be edited once set. Messaging and formatting on signature requests doesn’t look great. Pros Once you get the hang of it, it will become your best friend! I love being able to split one document into multiple documents, which saves time scanning. Or being able to combine multiple files into one, so you don't have to print out and scan. Text editing and highlighting have definitely come in handy as well. It also exports into Word, Excel, etc flawlessly. Cons It was touch to learn all of the tools at first, so maybe about the first month was more trial and error trying to figure out its capabilities. I'm a huge fan of the OCR and document signing features in particular. Cons I really have no problems whatsoever with the product. It fits all of my needs, but, if I were to quibble about anything, it would be the relative speed of handling large PDFs. Pros This is, by far, the best PDF editor I have used. It has so many features and functions to offer not usually found on conventional PDF editor. Nitro helped us a lot with its extract and combine functions. It came very handy when we had to deal with many pdf supporting docs from our audit partners. I also liked its OCR ability which is kind of accurate as far as I have used it. Cons Conversion to other file formats seems to be the weakest feature of this software, specially when converting to a PDF file to excel. All of the features are very user friendly compared to other competitive software. I would recommend this software to anyone who constantly is scanning documents and exporting PDFs. Pros The features I like most about the software are all the text commenting tools. It is very easy for users to add comments to PDFs for others to review in a very simple and straight forward way that will not cause confusion for the next readers. Cons It would be great if the software had more scanning features that provided users with more details about the documents they scan. Pros Available as Nitro PDF download that is not only free but allows you to sign documents and also do some editing. One of my favorite software applications. I use it on a daily basis and find it works better than its more well-known counterpart. I have never had to use support. Very easy to figure things out yourself or use their help files. Cons Nothing to dislike. This is a great product. I think it is even better than the "other" brand that most people use. And there is no comparison in terms of cost savings, so if you can live with it being a bit slower, you may be well-advised to try Nitro out. Pros To my pleasant surprise, Nitro brought a large suite of effective features to an industry dominated by one player. They worked really well, giving a cost-effective alternative. Cons It runs a bit slower than its primary rival. Generally not a problem, but if you are creating or even viewing a large number of pdf's this is frustrating. July 7, 2021 4.0 We have generally been impressed with each new version and the new features. Pros We have used Nitro since around version 6, and have been very happy with it. However, the software recently became a bit glitchy, and I wanted to upgrade our team licenses. I have tried FOR WEEKS to reach someone at the company. Service is a premium feature and you can't even get email assistance without other fees - but it's impossible upgrade to that feature online! I have even tried to reach sales to buy more and harmonize - zero responses, except for one auto-reply telling me to go back to the site. It's harder to reach a real person than it is at facebook. Other than that I was able to make use of this to support UI testing by extracting images without damaging image quality. It is worth purchasing this if you're someone who works in front of a computer. Pros I was using Nitro pro for editing PDFs since my university days. It is really helpful in editing documents, Assignments with ease of use. Recently I used it to extract images from the wire frame designs provided by clients. It was really useful to extract images within few minutes with the exact resolutions. I Cons As an improvement I would like to suggest it to automatic selection of the fonts used inside the document when user try to enter some text. You can quickly add text or update text, which is so helpful when you may not have the source document for editing. Pros Nitro is super simple to use, with no real training or instruction. I find it very intuitive. I use it frequently to combine PDF files, edit files, delete pages, etc. It makes my work much easier. Cons The only thing that I've found doesn't work perfectly every time is when you are trying to convert from a PDF into a Word or Excel file. The formatting doesn't translate properly. Cons I would like it to be little faster and little lighter. If needed create a separate version which is lighter and have limited use cases which are the most frequently used.
