As the system admin and user of , I have been very impressed with the solution. It was easy to stand up and integrate with our SSO provider and has met our objective from day 1 for interactive associate recognition. There are strong analytics available which provide great insight into who and how our users are utilizing Bonusly. I am hopeful that we will continue to see the strong user interaction

Pros

has filled a gap that existed in our company around peer recognition. We needed a way for associates to recognize one another, and a way to share that recognition with other associates. Bonusly has enabled us to reach our goal with relative ease, and continues to be a fun (gamified) solution for internal associate recognition, with a tangible reward structure. The solution integrates seamlessly with Slack which was critical for us. It also allows us to utilize our digital signage at our offices around the globe (hopefully can use this feature more when all associates return to the office post COVID).

Cons

The internal response out of the gate (Day 1 implementation) was fantastic. Associate interaction remained strong throughout the month. My concern is the continued use of the solution as time goes on. Our company took a smart approach of granting each associate bonus points to give out on the first of the month. This acts as a subtle reminder to engage with the applications and provide recognition. I am not seeing any true cons at the moment.

People like it.

Pros

It seems to work. People enjoy giving and receiving little micro-bonuses and even seeing other people get them. So that promotes some transparency on what everybody is doing and a general feeling of togetherness.

Cons

It does sideline a certain population who just don't enjoy being in the spotlight. These folks enjoy private exchanges. If there was a way to fine tune announcements for introverts that would address this problem. Not everybody wants to share everything.

### "Great way to recognize team members"

Overall is great. It's easy to use and a fun morale-booster for the team! They add new retailers all the time, as well as charities you can donate to, and it also lets managers add custom bonuses.

Pros

I love how easy it is to recognize and thank my team members using . We use it to acknowledge when other team members do something good that fits our core values. It's been a great way to celebrate our successes, and it definitely has improved morale across my team. I also appreciate how frequently Bonusly adds new gift card options!

Cons

No cons to - this software is great!

I like the plethora of non profits users can donate points to, especially for Ukrainian efforts

Cons

There is no way to give shout outs, kudos or thanks without adding allowances. Meaning, you have to buy more than your monthly allotment to tell someone about a job well done. Seems counter productive and takes away the chance for others to give proper appreciation

I love it

Pros

In a business context, it is difficult to use actions to thank a colleague who has gone out of their way to help you. Gifts are inappropriate at work. However, points are sanctioned by your employer and visible by all, so one can thank another publicly and in an acceptable manner.

Cons

Sometimes, we get superstars who receive a lot of points, they deserve them but it makes other, less visible people look bad. For example, the office secretary may be the most valuable person but the IT technician gets all the bonusly points because they get our computers working and that feels more personal. Points may also be used too much as non-pecuniary benefits to make up for low salaries. So be warned, acknowledge everyone, not too much and thanks are good but decent salaries are better.

We have found this tool to be very helpful for a remote team. It gives us a fun way to encourage and recognize each other in a virtual space. We especially love the GIFs that are included - this makes it very fun to personalize recognition.

Pros

Adding for our team has increased our staff engagement in affirming and calling out success in each other. We have a small remote team and this has helped us engage virtually with each other in fun and meaningful ways. The rewards available are great! Lots of good gift card options as well as charity contribution options.

Cons

I don't really like the "who is getting the most rewards" feature. That seems unnecessary and counter-productive to team building

Overall giving your coworkers a bonus is pretty easy and straightforward. Receiving the can be more tricky if you get a gift card code that doesn't work. Which happened to me twice.

Pros

I love how you can reward your coworkers for doing something great. And i love all the options we have with gift cards. I find it easy to use for the most part. You log in, award your chosen amount to your coworker, and then just submit and they see it right away.

Cons

There are a few things. I wish i could manually input the amount of the bonus. It gives set amounts. My biggest gripe though is twice I tried to use my gift card i chose for my and they DIDNT work. Once was for sephora. I had to actually go to the store, and it took them a long time to try to figure it out and only one person in the store knew what the issue was. I also tried to use it for amazon and had to contact amazon to have them manually add it to my order. I don't feel there is an easy way to contact someone if this happens. It was quite an inconvenience. Esp for sephora having to go to the store. Needless to say I won't choose that gift card choice again.

Our experience with was immensely positive, and it enabled us to maintain a culture of accolade and collaboration. Integration with third party tools like Slack enabled the software to seamlessly integrate with our current workflow which is a must.

Pros

Integrations with other software (e.g. Slack), as well as the ability browse gifs to include directly in the editing field for a bonus.

Cons

Somewhat limited gift card options (although ability to redeem Paypal more than makes up for it). It is also annoying that you are limited to set amounts (i.e. you can't redeem odd amounts, such as $28).

helps teams collaborate and also helps with employee appreciation. I can tell you that everyone loves bonusly and you can also bribe your friends with it if you need something done. It's just an incredible idea and business and I feel so lucky to have it!

Pros

is, hands down, my favorite benefit at my company. It's so nice to be able to recognize your co-workers when they do something so amazing and out of their wheelhouse. We have a pretty generous monthly budget and it just is so nice to be able to say thank you! with more than just words. I hope i get to use bonusly forever because it is my favorite thing in the world!

Cons

The UI is a little funky - tagging and mentioning people are confusing when you first use the app and the activity feed has random bugs, but other than that, this app is incredible.

Personally, I think that keeps positivity moving throughout our office space. When I am dealing with something stressful at work or go the extra mile to do something it means a lot to me to be provided with instant praise through a platform like this.

Pros

I think that this program is a great and easy way to provide praise to coworkers. We have our connected with Slack which allows for an instant notification that everyone is able to see. We have fun with this software and it boosts company morale. The ability to choose from a number of gift cards through building up points is a great perk as well.

Cons

This is one of my favorite softwares that we use at my company. I really think it works perfectly for what we need and I do not have any complaints!

social appreciation has many benefits. The basis of Twitter, facebook and youtube are all the "likes". People want to be liked and this helps them know.

Pros

This software you call is easy to use and provides a real positive feedback loop for people I work next to every day, I like the chart showing who is receiving the most money and bonuses. This can help motivate people to do better. The feed back helps people feel appreciated. SOme people I don't see everyday I don't have the opportunity to thank in person. SO using the internet is a way to take care of them from a distance.

Cons

I find the interface a little clunky sometimes. The drop down menus need an arrow or some other visual que to remind me they are there. I forget what to do if I haven't used it in a while. Also the home page should have a blank space with "who derserves to be appreciated today?" text to click on as a start point to give money.

is definitely a must for teams who are wanting an amazing way to allow team members recognize each other and the ease of function for team members and administrators is a HUGE PLUS! I recommend Bonusly to everyone I speak with who is looking for ways to offer a reward and recognition program.

Pros

Our team uses daily to reward and recognize our team members, and our team LOVES Bonusly. There are so many rewards to choose from and the ability to create our own custom rewards has been a huge plus for us. It's very easy for our team members to recognize each other and for the team members to select and receive their rewards. It's extremely easy for our Leadership team to administer.

Cons

There are no cons to using this software - it's super easy to use, able to download the app and use from a cell phone which makes it easy for our team to be able to recognize fellow team members in the moment.

When this software only charged when people redeemed a gift, that made sense. The cost has become a barrier, and we discuss every month whether we should get rid of it, and replace it with some manual system

Basically just a reiteration of my "pros" section of this survey – however, to add: Everyone loves to feel appreciated, and in the workplace that can sometimes be hard to capture on a regular basis. helps to promote synergy amongst your immediate team as well as cross-functionally and across departments. I think it's a very smart investment for any company's culture.

Pros

Overall, I really love the general idea of the software itself. Studies have shown that incentive for work tends to heavily rely on intrinsic motivation (self satisfaction) rather than extrinsic (raises, bonuses, gifts, etc.) - but seems to have found a way to blur the two together and deliver the benefits in one platform. I feel like a lot of time people lose motivation at their job because they think they're under appreciated or that their hard work goes unnoticed – so this is a great way to recognize your coworkers and also to promote positivity in the workplace.

Cons

Don't have any complaints really – if I had to choose anything...maybe it would be gifs - I prefer giphy over tenor, maybe the gifs could pull from both sites? What about an integration with BitMoji? Might be something people would enjoy

Pros

We have a bit of an internal competition going on. We publish all bonus.ly points on slack. And each time a team member get the captain of Thank You or captain of Teamwork award there is some friendly competition and roasting.

Cons

The features are limited to the regular plan. I'd love to use the pro plan. \* cons an email cannot be used more than once. If you re-activate an old user email, all the history is there. It would be great if we could wipe the history, or be able to create a duplicate with the same email. E.G. we have a strong internship program with some rotation, but similar names are being used for emails. But it causes an issue for bonus.ly.

My experience with has been amazing. I have never had a problem cashing out. I feel very motivated to work harder and do better on a regular basis, and I feel extremely valued as an employee.

Pros

I can rack up on points, and cash them out for Paypal money. That's REAL money that I can literally use ANYwhere. I love it. Also, my second favorite is available as well - Amazon!

Cons

Absolutely NOTHING. ROCKS harder than Metallica. Just kidding, but it is the best rewards system I've seen.

With I have been able to implement a simple and quick way to award prizes and encourage employees. We have managed to increase productivity in the company a lot.

Pros

What I like most about is how easy it is to reward an employee thanks to a very intuitive and friendly user interface. I just need to select an employee to assign the prize and click on the give button. Additionally, it has a public feed where other employees can see everyone's achievements and thus feel more motivated at work. Then they can change their prizes in a long list of gift card catalogs very easily. It has been one of the best solutions we have implemented in the company. Another thing that I like and use is that they have an app for smartphones, where you can see the public feed and notifications about the prizes.

Cons

I personally like everything about , it's a simple idea with a great user interface. I would just like to mention something that could be better. It's about your app for mobile devices, it can be a bit slow in notifications to users.

How it allows people to reward each other for their good work or their demonstrations of our values as a company. I particularly love the ability to post giphys as well :D

Cons

When on desktop, I don't like to get the emojis screen prompting whenever I type ":" it's a bit slow. I'd probably just add an emoji library to pick from without it prompting, just as if you were typing from your phone.

### "We implemented bonusly and had fun for a while.."

was a fun experiment for our company. Like many new things, it garnered a big initial response and instant adoption (though it did take us a lot of time to get people accustomed to using it regularly, and it takes extra time to administer)... However after a few weeks it just became part of the grind and was more trouble than it was worth. I'd imagine customer retention is less than 60 days for many companies, with a few exceptions becoming lifetime customers due to deeper company integration.

Pros

\-It's a good way to re-motivate a tired team -Rather easy to implement from a technical perspective, hard to build into process though -Analytics and built-in reporting are a plus -Customer support is strong (And needed for initial setup)

Cons

\-You're paying for not just the platform, but all of the rewards dispersed through it. This may come as a surprise to some companies, and this will need to be built into your ROI. -The platform adds an element of fun to bonuses, but it can become more burden than value once the initial 'shiny object' wears off
