Ive found the one to meet all my expectations. Exceeds above and beyond. Pros All the attributes of NordVPN are equally distributed to compliment the other. The user interface is the best feature. Although the speed of NordVPN when browsing the web, is surprisingly fast. Privacy is of no concern. Nord has you protected. Cons Collects a lot of data. Not sure why they need so much information. I guess, Thats why im the user and not the developer. November 7, 2025 5.0 I have had a very good experience so far. It has been easy to set up, the price was good, and it has the functions that I use. It solves my problem well and isn't complicated! Pros I like how the system is so straight forward and easy to use. All I need to do is launch the product and then hit the connect button. I don't need anything complicated, just straight forward. Cons There's not much to dislike, probably one of the things is that it logs me out frequently. So I need to keep logging in more frequently than I would like. March 3, 2026 5.0 My overall experience with NordVPN has been outstanding. I am astonished by how well developed of a VPN it is, while also being very user friendly and easy to navigate. The connection speed is instant and I've never had a problem connecting to any country in the world, especially the lesser known countries for example countries in Africa. A great product I wholeheartedly recommend. Pros I love that NordVPN is so accessible in many different countries, and within larger countries you can select a more specific city to connect to which makes it a very detailed VPN. The user interface is very user friendly and allows you to navigate the world map and select which country you'd like to connect to, and when you click "connect" the performance is great and the connectivity speed is instant. Once connected it will assign you a anonymised IP address which is great for anonymity. Cons I would say the thing I like the least about NordVPN is the high renewal prices for the VPN, especially if you have signed up using a sign up discounted incentive previously. This price hike can be hard to stomach, but I cannot fault NordVPN at all, it has no learning curve and is very user friendly, allowing you to protect yourself online. Review Source PL Peter L. Coverage ok but terrible customer service total lack of online live support. Although I have this VPN aettings are always on frequently I check the site and Its not protecting my veiwing sites Cons Total lack of live customer service. Too many hoops to climb through To reactivate / reauthorize account it will not allow you access siting that you've had too many attempts to establish reactivation. I mostly use when travelling and connecting to secure sites back home. The connection is fast enough that I don't notice any buffering, and the "Threat Protection" is a nice little bonus because it actually stops those annoying pop-up ads while I'm browsing. Decent user in even though the pre-2021 was better. Cons NordVPN stole $166.53 USD from me NordVPN stole money from me, literally. Very surprising that this could still happen in 2025. Here's the long story short: I saw a payment from Paddle.com on my PayPal account. I mistakenly thought that Paddle.com was a scammer. So I cancelled the payment with PayPal. After a few days, I learned that Paddle.com is NordVPN's payment provider. So, I then apologize to NordVPN, and say "Sorry Nord, can you reactivate my account? And they say "No." I ask them: "Can I have my money back then?" And they say "Speak with Paypal. We don't have the money." Of course, PayPal tells me that Paddle or Nord has the money. People at Nord specifically ask me to wait 3 months. (Does this money become up free game after 3 months?) Clearly, this seems fishy. In any case, I contact them 3 months later and \[sensitive content hidden\] at NordVPN tells me to contact Paddle as though I have an account with them. Note that Paddle is NordVPN's payment provider, while PayPal is the customer's payment provider. I send NordVPN screenshots of my PayPal account and nothing. Occam's razor: PayPal has never done anything like this to me in my 15 years of working with them. In closing, NordVPN and/or Paddle will not give me either their (1) SERVICE, or (2) MY MONEY BACK. Unless I am refunded or just given service (for what I paid for) back, I will never work with them again. I will update as I hear back from them. STAY AWAY FROM NORD VPN in 2025! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DANGEROUS. Note to NORDVPN: If you give me my money back or my service back, I will delete this post here. I've used it in the UK, Mauritius, Thailand, Egypt, Australia, and a few other countries and it's always worked well. Pros It's reliable, it doesn't randomly disconnect, and you have control over the countries and servers you can choose. It also doesn't seem to affect internet speed and seems to be the only VPN that reliably works with online streaming services. Works well on both mobile and desktop. Cons It's a bit more expensive than other providers and if you don't check your plan they increase it without asking... Also my desktop app seems to want to restart every other time I open the laptop which I don't think is normal or it's at least inconvenient.
