We switched over to from Service Titan. We are making the switch to be more project and commercial base and Contractor Foreman help with doing that.

Pros

is a great organizational tool for project management and CRM. It is very easy to use and you get great value for the price.

Cons

Software is very simple design wise, but there are really no complains in terms of that. Occasionally there are bugs but it does not happen consistently. Also, since we still do residential, we would like to be able to add more that one appointment to a residential service ticket, specifically when we are needing to go back to complete the work.

has met every one of our needs, even when those needs are unique and require specialized customization for our wide range of customers and product options. Their support team and managers are always responsive and quick to assist any time we are in need. Overall we are very happy after nearly 5 years using CF full-time.

Pros

has been stellar with customizability and support, value for money and ease of use in our project management.

Cons

Early on we faced some glitches and server downtime but this has all the result of continually improving and these issues have not been present for years now.

Overall, my experience with has been positive. It is a strong platform with many useful tools for managing construction projects, estimates, and company data in one place. While it does take time to learn and fully customize, once you get familiar with it, it can be very helpful for improving organization and keeping projects moving.

Pros

What I liked most about is that it gives our company a lot of tools in one place. It helps with project management, estimate creation, construction tracking, and organizing information so our team can stay on the same page. I also like that customer service has been helpful when we need support, and the system has strong features for contractors who want an all-in-one platform.

Cons

What I liked least about is that the learning curve can feel pretty deep, especially when first setting it up and trying to understand all of the features. Because the platform does a lot, it can take time to train team members and build efficient workflows. At first, some parts can feel a little overwhelming until you spend enough time using it regularly.

### "Better than an excel spreadsheet"

It's mediocre, given that it isn't a system you can modify or customize you have to be ok with manipulating the system as is for what your company may need. When I have reached out for help, I am always told I can submit a request and if enough other users also want the same thing development may be able to push it forward.

Pros

The ability to add photos and invoices on each service ticket helps us track the start to finish of them.

Cons

You are unable to customize the system in any way. Changes must come from a vote of many users so if other companies aren't using the system the way you are, there isn't much chance of getting options added.

### "It's a Good Program for Construction and Commercial Subs."

Overall I give a 8/10; there are a few items they can work on and maybe they have overkill a few others.

Pros

It's very good to streamline Projects, from estimating to punch list. It's good for time tracking and expenses tracking. AIA Billing need some work but it's awesome they have this.

Cons

They have to work on be able to ease up the process of Over the Counter Sales. They have separated Leads, Estimates and possible sales, I honestly not find it useful for so many tabs. Their credit cards and debit cards fees are a little higher than everyone else.

Overall, works well for what we need it to there are just a few things I would tweak on it so it would fit better with what we need to input.

Pros

The timecard tracking works really well. The Geolocation tracking is a huge plus especially since we have multiple job locations.

Cons

The customizability of the PDF templates. There are a few things I would like to change like being able to change the title of the change order numbers for the customer. As well as the ability to input more than two decimal points on numbers.

Pros

offers endless possibilities. It empowers even the smallest contractors to deliver streamlined, professional services to both residential and commercial clients. My overall experience with has been a great one, i have greatly enjoyed the interface as it has all the bells and whistles without all of the fluff by trying to make it look spectacular. it is more out fitted to get down to business not just look great.

Pros

The one thing i like the most about is its wide versatility within the construction industry, no matter the size of your outfit it can give you an advantage to your daily actions happening as they are supposed to.

Cons

Id say the thing i liked least about is that with the server they use and how items are pulled from the cost items database, making estimates can get a bit glitchy when many items are put in.

If you couldn't figure it out then they had a lot of resources to help you out. We had a lot of employees that were using.

My business has been using for just over 2 years now and overall the experience has been positive and the product is priced competitively.

Pros

It has help us manage our business processes better. It has simplified how we manage our projects all the way from estimating to invoicing. We now have a much clearer view of where all of our projects are at. Would recommend this especially if you are trying to manage all of your workflow using spreadsheets.

Cons

More automation within the system would be better so that things can happen in the background without you having to manually do everything.

Pros

I have been using it for the last three years and throughout that time they have taken my suggestions seriously and always been willing to improve. Anytime I have a question or issue the live chat has been extremly efficant in responding and getting me imediat help. Contractor Foreeman offers many different plans so you are gettting exactly what you pay for.

Cons

I dont have any complaints. Anytime theres something I dislike they work hard to fix it so I can use the system how I need it.

its been fine, nothing special, just another program that thinks its worth more than it is. gets the job done and doesnt have alot of glitches.

It does what it's suppose to, keeps everything organized in one place. No hunting down leads in one app, estimates in another, projects in another, everything is in one place

Cons

needs to update and not look like its from windows 2000. needs more customization, need a better way to write estimates for people that dont itemize everything. also a better flow between leads, estimates, projects, etc. a way to show the break down of draws in the estimate as well

has helped get my business organized and the cost tracking has helped me evaluate profit and loss from projects we are on. I love that it is one app and it covers everything, from clocking in and out, to finished project reviews, Contractor Foreman has helped me reach the next level of professionalism.

Pros

is simple and easy to use but has a feature for all my business needs. Clients love that they can approve estimates and change orders in real time and we love that we don't have all the down time from waiting around

Cons

I think the inventory system could use a little upgrading and have a category for items we keep in stock. The current system is not bad but for our line of work were we are shipping materials to job sites it would really help to have a little more detail.

### "You will love how easy it is to use"

Its been a great overall experience so far. Everything form the time clock to the AIA billing and the ease of creating an SOV - just cuts down on so much admin time. Its very helpful.

Pros

I like that it is cost effective and full of features. I also appreciate the amount of time that went into providing resources for learning and training on the system. Every feature has a training module which makes it even easier to use.

Cons

With my experience in the software so far, I really dont have much negative feedback. There are lots of customizable options, including branding any templates that you choose to use. The only thing I wish I could do, was have the system send and email (invoice or estimate or whatever) and the email shows that its coming from me instead of . If I forget to tell the client, they dont recognize the email address and they dont open it.

### "Use foreman it makes life easier"

Its been simply and easy to use thus far. As I learn more in the contracting world I can then use more of the resourses that are available through foreman which makes it really nice.

Pros

Its fairly simple to navigate and find whatever youre looking for. The trainings are also very helpful. Coming in as an office manager brand new I had no understanding of any back end stuff. Foreman made it easy to figure out.

Cons

They dont sync up with the Payroll company that we use. Just makes an extra step on my end in adding numbers for the employees.

While there is still room for deeper customization in a few areas, the value and functionality it provides have made a noticeable difference in my efficiency and project management workflow.

What I like most about is how it brings together the essential daily tools of a contractor into one platform without unnecessary complexity. The learning curve is minimal, but the impact is immediate—especially for scheduling, daily reports, time tracking, and job cost tracking. It saves me hours each week by keeping everything centralized and easy to update from the field or the office. The value for the price is one of the best in the industry, and the support team is fast and genuinely helpful.

Cons

The only downside is that some modules feel a bit basic compared to more specialized platforms, especially when dealing with complex estimating workflows or large multi-phase projects. ### "Useful software, way better than spreadsheets!"

I though it was good value for money, it has definitely made a difference in how organized I am and my accounting is way more up to date.

Pros

I am now way more organized with job costing and tracking employee time. The quote templates have also helped me get quotes out way faster which I think has ultimately led to more successful jobs. Customer support has been really good when I need to chat about some feature I don't understand.

Cons

It took a while to get the hang of it, but I imagine that's the case with any software like this. Phone app used to crash occasionally but hasn't happened in a while now.

My appreciation for has improved over time as I continue to learn more about it. It would be nice if it was more amenable to making retroactive corrections and updates.

Pros

I am a finance user. It is very easy to get through to a live person quickly when a question arises.

Cons

Many of the report settings are inflexible and do not allow for error corrections and omissions. The Excel formatting also needs to be updated.

Cons

has been a great tool for keeping my projects organized and on schedule. I really appreciate how easy it is to track daily logs, manage budgets, and communicate with my team all in one place. The interface is clear, the features cover a lot of what I need day-to-day, and it definitely saves me time compared to using multiple apps. For the price, you absolutely can't beat it. It's integrated with QuickBooks Online, which is very helpful.

Pros

Their customer service chat is very beneficial. It's immediate and solves our problems generally within a few minutes. If they can't solve it immediately, they generally get it solved within a day or 2

Cons

There are still glitches that need to be worked out. Sometimes when there are improvements to one module, I feel like the other modules glitch

is the best! We mainly focus on the estimating and project management aspects, but also love the directory. For estimating, they offer automatic bid invites we can create and send to our subcontractors. Then our subs have the opportunity to send back a lump sum number, or a number based on the schedule of values. Contractor Foreman then automatically updates the estimate with their number/s when we accept their bid. It makes estimating a breeze! Also, as someone who manages the project documentation, compliance, insurance, bookkeeping, and all other office tasks, I LOVE the fact that it connects to quickbooks. Any project bills I upload to contractor foreman gets sent over to quickbooks online instantly! All estimates....sent to QB. All customer invoices....sent to QB. Anything involving bookkeeping and financials that I input into Contractor Foreman, gets synced to QB. Along with the directory and other things. If you have quickbooks and are looking into a project management system, GO TO CONTRACTOR FOREMAN! Best bang for your buck. It does everything almost all other project management software does, but for 1/4 of the price!

Pros

Ability to sync with quickbooks. Estimating and subcontractor Bid invites features. Shared calendar. Vendor, customer, subcontractor directory and details.

Cons

Having to refresh the page with their refresh button occasionally. You have to refresh for the inputted information to show up every now and then.
