Time tracking, inspections, and document uploads are simple to complete directly from their phones, which has improved consistency and reduced paperwork. The app runs reliably in real working conditions, making it practical for daily construction use. Overall, the ease of setup combined with strong field usability has made implementation smooth for both office staff and on-site crews.

Pros

Contractor Foreman works especially well for on-site operations where real-time visibility and accountability are important. The mobile app allows crews to complete time tracking directly from the field, reducing paperwork and improving payroll accuracy. Supervisors can monitor hours, locations, and daily activity without constant follow-up. ### "You will love how easy it is to use"

Its been a great overall experience so far. Everything form the time clock to the AIA billing and the ease of creating an SOV - just cuts down on so much admin time. Its very helpful.

Pros

I like that it is cost effective and full of features. I also appreciate the amount of time that went into providing resources for learning and training on the system. Every feature has a training module which makes it even easier to use.

Cons

With my experience in the software so far, I really dont have much negative feedback. There are lots of customizable options, including branding any templates that you choose to use. The only thing I wish I could do, was have the system send and email (invoice or estimate or whatever) and the email shows that its coming from me instead of contractor foreman. If I forget to tell the client, they dont recognize the email address and they dont open it.

### "Better than an excel spreadsheet"

It's mediocre, given that it isn't a system you can modify or customize you have to be ok with manipulating the system as is for what your company may need. When I have reached out for help, I am always told I can submit a request and if enough other users also want the same thing development may be able to push it forward.

Pros

The ability to add photos and invoices on each service ticket helps us track the start to finish of them.

Cons

You are unable to customize the system in any way. Changes must come from a vote of many users so if other companies aren't using the system the way you are, there isn't much chance of getting options added.

Contractor Foreman offers endless possibilities. It empowers even the smallest contractors to deliver streamlined, professional services to both residential and commercial clients. Cons

constant updates that provide drastic changes to the layout of the software. also the live updated estimate database is missing tons of everyday items contractors utilize and forces us to look at google and pricing sheets from vendors.

### "Use foreman it makes life easier"

Its been simply and easy to use thus far. As I learn more in the contracting world I can then use more of the resourses that are available through foreman which makes it really nice.

Pros

Its fairly simple to navigate and find whatever youre looking for. The trainings are also very helpful. Coming in as an office manager brand new I had no understanding of any back end stuff. Foreman made it easy to figure out.

Cons

They dont sync up with the Payroll company that we use. Just makes an extra step on my end in adding numbers for the employees.

### "Contractor Foreman - Highly Recommended"

Other than a few minor details, Contractor Foreman has been a game-changer for our company. There is end to end visibility of all projects, employees, suppliers and more. It has many excellent features and ability to sync with QuickBooks seamlessly. The web app works well and is available in Android and Apple.

Pros

We are a mid-sized contractor and we use Contractor Foreman to track project spending and ensure our jobs stay on budget. It syncs seamlessly with QuickBooks and has a user-friendly interface. I have also made use of their handy webchat for miscellaneous questions. There is also an option to run reports which our project managers find extremely useful. This is only a few of the options we use, but as we expand I'm sure more and more of the tools will be utilized. Great product!

Cons

A few minor issues: - When entering multiple line items on an invoice, sometimes a line or two will disappear and require re-entry. - When adding an attachment, it usually appears as if you've added two attachments even when only one was added. - One of the tax options prevents CF from syncing with QB.

Pros

It has help us manage our business processes better. It has simplified how we manage our projects all the way from estimating to invoicing. We now have a much clearer view of where all of our projects are at. Would recommend this especially if you are trying to manage all of your workflow using spreadsheets.

Cons

More automation within the system would be better so that things can happen in the background without you having to manually do everything.

One of the standout aspects for us is the ability to tailor many parts of the platform to fit our operations. It took a considerable amount of time to get the platform tailored to our specific needs. The live chat and training resources were incredibly helpful during setup and onboarding. Having access to responsive support at any time has made a big difference. We appreciate the ability to access the platform via Wi-Fi, use the mobile app, and take advantage of built-in camera features. The auto-saving functionality also helped prevent data loss during fieldwork.

Cons

While the flexibility is there, the initial configuration can be time-consuming. Some fields and titles couldn’t be modified, which occasionally restricted how we wanted to structure certain workflows but overall, we have a majority of what we need to succeed. We noticed limited camera functionality on some Android devices, which has affected some of our team’s ability to document work efficiently in the field.

Overall feature-rich for the money. It does a great job for estimating, project management, change orders, purchase orders etc.

Pros

Contractor Foreman has been a great value added program for our business. The large variety of modules/features allows us to use CF in a variety of ways for both our office and field staff. The user interface is intuitive and easy to learn. When we were researching other products, we could not find anything else that provided as much value for the (relatively) low cost. We have been on the platform for 3 years and are happy overall.

No software is perfect for every business, but this check most of the boxes we need at a fraction of the cost. If you have a service business, it doesn't do a great job of this. It has a module that works, but it's not the best out there.

### "Best Option Out There, Hands Down! "

Excellent! Everyone has been very helpful. Are there a few things I'd change, sure. But they keep working on it!

Pros

Amazing an fast customer service, and the program is so robust. I've looked at BTrend, BPrime, CoConstruct, HouzPro, Paintscount, Dripjobs, Monday, Hubspot, and the list goes on. There is NOTHING that compares to this program for features and pricing and service. NOTHING. It is hands down the absolute ass kicker in the industry.

Cons

I don't love the scheduling component as a "specialty trade contractor." I know they have the CREW Scheule module, but a 1 week view is limited. The Calendar view helps, yes, but without a list of projects to place on it (like the Crew Schedule itself), this is a bit limited. I can see how the schedule module is GREAT for general contractors. But for a painter, plumber, electrician, etc.... needing to schedule a LOT of jobs, even multiple on the same day, this needs a little work.

over the last few years, it has been a great experience. they have always been there with my plethora of questions.

Pros

The best part about contractor foreman is the price and the customer service. I also really like the tracking of the time cards.Building estimates is a breeze with the software, very easy to use.

Cons

It's not as robust as other similar software, however, they are consistently upgrading and working on it.

### "Useful software, way better than spreadsheets!"

I though it was good value for money, it has definitely made a difference in how organized I am and my accounting is way more up to date.

Pros

I am now way more organized with job costing and tracking employee time. The quote templates have also helped me get quotes out way faster which I think has ultimately led to more successful jobs. Customer support has been really good when I need to chat about some feature I don't understand.

Cons

It took a while to get the hang of it, but I imagine that's the case with any software like this. Phone app used to crash occasionally but hasn't happened in a while now.

Took a while to become familiar with how all of the features interact with each other, so do not expect an immediate integration. However, if you utilize the training, support, and mentor sessions, it should come rather easy.

Pros

The AI chat software and then the immediate follow up from real technical support. Most times the solutions I am after are rather simple; they give direct, quick, and knowledgeable answers. The estimate creation is also a fantastic feature with the cost item database. Saving all of the items we re-use.

Cons

There are some user functionality adjustments I would make, but every time I make a request to change something, support mentions to me that they are working on something similar. Such as moving around sections within tabs etc.

For the price, you absolutely can't beat it. It's integrated with QuickBooks Online, which is very helpful.

Pros

Their customer service chat is very beneficial. It's immediate and solves our problems generally within a few minutes. If they can't solve it immediately, they generally get it solved within a day or 2

Cons

There are still glitches that need to be worked out. Sometimes when there are improvements to one module, I feel like the other modules glitch

What I really like about Contractor Foreman is how it can integrate the whole company together. Crew schedule is great

Cons

Not being able to show a sales discount has been tough for me, showing it as a negative number has effected our accounting and therefore we can no longer even show sales discount as minus one product

### "I enjoy the software"

I started with no real experience in construction and was learning everything as I went along. The learning modules really helped me with the software as well as verbiage.

Pros

The support is always ready to help me learn without making me feel incompetent. I am new to this role, only a few months. I have talked to lots of different support members and they are always helpful. I have never had to wait on anyone either. They are always available via Chat :-)

Cons

The Calendar hasn't ever really worked correctly, we use google calendar instead. It seems to work if they "refresh" on their end, then works for a few days then wonky again. The phone app is not as user friendly as I would like. It could be a learning curve, but I would like to see some improvements in that.
