I have struggled to find a software that meets my demands financially but also easy to use. When I found Cheqdin I was extremely pleased with all the features specifically with the invoices service. It helps me optimise my time daily and the helpful customer service is always available to help. I highly recommend this software! Pros This software has all the features needed to help me optimise my after school club and keep my updates in check. The Customer service support is excellent. Pros Cheqdin is an easy system to use and is great for us as we only need to pay for a certain amount of children so we can keep the cost down as we are a local authority nursery school, it is easy to navigate and the support from customer service is great. It also helps to monitor our staffing and they can also sign in and out on this system Cons There is nothing I don't like about Cheqdin, it is easy to use and there is always support when needed. Website itself is pleasing to the eye. Very easy to find your way around and edit things as required. Pros I absolutely love that you can have a free demo with an actual person before even committing to use the site. I love the amount of variety the website has in terms of the different things it covers, booking, invoicing, messaging parents there's just so much it has. Same person to talk to when questions arise so it's not explaining the same thing to someone new. I love continuity Cons I wouldn't say I like least but just think more options on the payment method. As we are a charity and can't afford to pay 1% or more to a third party to enable parents to pay via the website. But understand there is a need to safeguard people's information. Pros How easy it was to send out Group invoices each Monday from the already generated invoices that pulled through all your booking patterns. Cons Not being able to delete an invoice is if showed part paid, it would be great if we could delete/cancel an invoice and the money just go back on the system like our old system had. Although there are a few niggles within the system, customer support is incomparable! Pros Having information all in one place and on one system. Childrens records, staff records & invoicing. The customer service provides a personal experience always on hand and willing to look into issues and possible change in future updates. Cons The filtering options are lacking - not being able to see all children on one page. When you select a filter, and complete an action, it automatically refreshes te filters which isn't helpful when you need to action the same filter more than once. A number of options to report queries. Pros Easy to use, fantastic tool for managing wraparound care, no fees taken from money received from parents. Cons If a parent needs to cancel an individual booking it does not automatically reverse the charge. The set up for a new academic year is time consuming - especially when setting up for a new year. We were looking for something that would improve: (1) Our administration process (2) Save on Time (3) Cost Effective (4) User Friendly Cheqdin has surpassed all of our expectations, not alone that, but the on-going support from the team is impeccable. There was never an issue that was not resolved. A big shout out to "Lucy" for all her friendly support and we would have no hesitation in recommending Cheqdin. Right from the start Cheqdin were great with us. We have our own contact \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who is very patient with us and always on the end of the phone for us. She worked with our admin and now our admin is on maternity. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is available to me when I have queries as I don’t use the system as much as our admin does. We wanted a company based in Scotland who understood ELC 1140 hours and the registrations we work under. Cons Nothing, our broadband at the nursery is poor, so sometimes the package is slow but when I work from home there are no issues and is a great system to work with. June 12, 2018 5.0 Less time consuming then manually doing registers. No paper archiving required and it's secure for parents to sign their child/children in and out Pros I like that parents can sign in and out without the use of paper. Data is stored and accessible and is secure. Easy to use for parents and staff alike. I like that we are ahead of the competition in our field and it's great when parents have used this software in a nursery setting prior to coming to our setting. I think the best bit is the online ad hoc booking option which cuts out massive amounts of manual work at our end and allows parents to book at a time convenient for them. I can't wait for the auto billing function! Cons It's still in the development stage and is being updated with new features when required; so I have no complaints. Everything is electronic , I like that invoices haven’t been paid I can send a reminder . Pros I like that you can invoice weekly , monthly or termly. You can set up regular scheduled payments, and track everything. Cons I was on the free trial then My number of children increased so I had to pay for the site , would like to see a more basic for a bit cheaper as I don’t need all the data offered and only use a basic of invoices, but that’s because of the nature of the job . I am very happy with its functionality. It's easy to use, and helps to have peace of mind knowing the exact time when my son was picked from school and brought to the childcare club. Pros It's easy to use Cheqdin, Notebook Messenger helps to communicate with my son's childcare club in real time. The notifications I receive in regards to my son's attendance is great, so I always know when my son signed in and out from the club. Easy to book through this software. Cons I don't know if this can be implemented or not, but it would be very useful to be able to pay for the childcare bookings through this app. I can book, but I don't see any option to pay directly from there. Pros Ease of use. Great features for example: parents are notified when their child is checkin in givign them peace of mind. there are many more so far its been great. Cons Can be a bit faffy to set up, trying to get parents to complete registration forms on the new system was a chore and some we had to do ourselves but now its set up its great. I had a lot to figure out for myself and luckily the site isn't too difficult to navigate. Your customer service team always appear on hand to talk through hurdles. We are hoping that we will be fully accessing all areas of Cheqdin in a few weeks time and if all goes to plan this will make things a lot easier for our setting. The easy to use registers are great for your setting and been able to look at the children's information on apps, such as tags or contact details has been much easier. Pros It is a professional looking online booking app for parents, which is easy to use and cuts down on chasing adhoc booking invoices. Lots of help is provided by the Cheqdin team if needed. Parents mostly fine the app easy to use and Invoices and collecting money is more organized than in the past. Cons manually deducting granted hours every month.
