Pros The ability to have simulated-live webinars is critical when schedules are too booked to host multiple live sessions. On-demand also is easy; the users get to choose which instance they want to use. Cons Breakout rooms are critical for larger events; we'd still have to use Zoom for this. Excellent and fast customer service, and that's laudable in a world of terrible automated customer service! Love everything about Demio, just wish I did more webinars! Pros I used Demio on the recommendation of a client who had a great experience. My experience reflected theirs and I'm very pleased with the service. I've used a half-dozen services comparable to Demio over the last 4 yrs and can say Demio wins categorically in functionality, User experience, design, interface, pre and post webinar tools, ease of setup, analytics, integrations. It has it all. Cons The price is up there with the "big boys" and Demio punches above their weight class but I ultimately didn't want to spend >$200 for 500 users when It's something I use once-a-month on average. CEO Computer Software Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Sound continually dropping - too stressful to use" December 12, 2024 1.0 This product is full of bugs and poor quality features. For example, my microphone, which is the latest Rode and I use for perfect quality on my podcast, kept dropping for no reason whatsoever. I frantically kept trying to reconnect while keeping the webinar going with all the attendees wondering what was going on! I decided to try and leave the webinar and re-join only to find I had ended the session completely and cut everybody off. There was no way to rejoin so the webinar was then dead. This was for new prospective customers so I spent the rest of the day trying to call everyone and apologise to them, completely embarrassing and a waste of time and effort. The video is supposed to be high definition but seems blurry and pixelated, doesn't work properly with Safari browser, and just seems complicated to use. I also have the latest Mac Studio M2 fully spec'd up. As it was too late to change, I tried again today on another webinar and had exactly the same issues with one user saying in the comments (that everyone could read) 'this is very unprofessional'. It was totally stressful and the last thing you need. I am actively looking for a reliable product and will most likely use Zoom since I use it for online meetings and it works well. Pros The ease of use. Every new user i show this to, or invite to work with demio can host awebinar or presentation within minutes. Since the lockdown prevented us from hosting events internally and for events to get to know our customers we have used demio as a digital alternative. Im certain we will keep using it even after the pandemic. Cons More flexibility and interaction with the public. Would like to create a longer event and schedule it on the calender instead of the standard 1hr block thats is available now. Pros The ease of use is amazing. Very intuitive and simple. Customer service is lovely. I love the design of the platform. And most important for me was to have everything in one place meaning having the live & evergreen options in 1 platform. Another great feature and my favorite is the ability to jump in live in an evergreen webinar. The ability to promote your products, add survey questions is another great feature. Cons 1\. I just wish there is plan for 100 attendees. That would be a great option. 2. It would also be nice to have a larger video option should you decide to be on video- perhaps on the left side with the ability to have it either as a square or circle. Anybody and their grandma could use the backend of the platform. So easy. The best part about Demio isn't the platform though: It's the team. They're so nimble, responsive and agile. Features requests that I've made have actually become features. And they show me how they're progressing with their software builds. Great work! Cons It seems that the bandwidth (whether that's on our end or Demio's) can't handle large audiences above 100. We've had great experiences under 100 but begin to have complaints when we eclipse 100. Highly recommend. Pros We love how user-friendly it is. Anyone can easily figure out how to use and customize the webinar rooms. They also offer better features (customize registration page and add logo or background, customize automatic emails, can send replay links, PowerPoints/handouts, call to action links, polls, public and private chat boxes, etc). We have rarely had any issues, and if issues do come up it’s usually something we can troubleshoot on our own. Cons If we had to pick something that is our least favorite, it might be that the platform is not supported on Internet Explorer. We make sure to let our customers know which browses are supported and send them a video on how to use Demio before it begins. I found it easy to use and if I had any questions I got a quick response. I got good feedback from my attendees. They liked the reminder emails. Pros Basically it did what I expected it to do and some more. Great email management. Screen presentation optimal. Easy to use though it's the first time I'm using it. Cons They have just added a feature to be able to invite up to 4 attendees on stage. I tried it once but it didn't work. I'm afraid I didn't try it the second time round but they said that they had fixed the problem. One of my attendees who attended on her telephone that she would have preferred to have seen me as well as the chat feature and not have to choose between the two. The support team deserves 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for quickly responding by chat and going out of their ways to find solutions and complete explanations of how everything works and how to fix certain issues. I had people from support created test events and even watched events along with me to look at problems I was having. It's awesome to see that you can count with real people. Pros It's integration with Active Campaign and the ability to share Calls to Action. You can trigger your own automations when people register to your event, when they attend it or even when they miss it. You can tag them and send them specific emails. Then you record your event (demio does it for you) and use it as a permanent saved webinar. Cons You can't help but compare it to zoom. In zoom, everybody can turn their cameras on and you get a feeling as if you where everybody together... Here, you can have 3 or 4 people max with their cams on. January 11, 2023 5.0 Demio is a platform with wide limits for each participant, since it allows the participant to interact within the webinar, it also allows them to have broad communication with each of the participants and also participate in all kinds of questionnaires or surveys that are carried out. During each webinar, the limits of each participant are really extensive and allow full interaction between the participants and the organizers. In general, this platform has worked wonderfully, from 0 to 100, I definitely give it a score of 100, since it has allowed us to create various webinars within our entire company, various sectors of our real estate company are using it to create webinars personalized and with high participation, in addition, I have loved the choice of compatibility system and operation that it has within any type of device, this allows us to access the webinars from anywhere we are. Pros Demio is an incredible platform to be able to customize all kinds of webinars and achieve that you can have a high participation of many people within each webinar. I really love that this platform allows me to follow up on each of the clients that have been invited to each webinar, this platform offers me an automated follow-up with which it is able to automatically send reminders to each client so that they remember that they must attend a previously scheduled webinar. I loved the performance measurement system of each webinar, this system allows view the performance of my webinar in real time, I can see how many participants have attended and how many participants have not yet accessed the webinar, in addition, I can also see in real time the quality and audio transmission of each webinar, to know exactly if it's working correctly. Demio offers immediate compatibility with any type of mobile device, which allows this platform to be used within iOS devices or Android devices, by simply downloading an app, all the organizers or participants will be able to access immediately from the mobile device. I also loved the great video quality that I was able to enjoy using this platform, the audio transmission also worked perfectly, which allowed all the organizers to communicate with the participants in real time, without delays in the audio transmission or in streaming video. Cons I haven't had any kind of problem with Demio, this platform has behaved excellently, I'm really satisfied with the webinar creation system, as well as I liked the webinar scheduling system, as it allows me to follow up to the invitations that I have sent to each of the clients or future participants. In addition, this platform has also provided security measures for each of the organizers, this platform offers a variety of security options to guarantee the privacy of the attendees, so that no data has been leaked or manipulated. Simple Webinar Scheduling Option. 2. Once the Event is scheduled, the event dates are automatically updated everywhere ie on the landing page, and email reminders. 3. Integration with convertkit is a very very useful feature, it will separate leads into 3 different segments, which will help for easy follow-up. 4. There's just not enough here for the money that they charge. Pros When it works, it works well. The webinar recording is automatically available to my clients. Cons Lots. The service is totally based on your Internet speed. I have fiber optic Internet speed, which is about as fast as it gets. And every time I have an issue, the company still tells me that it's due to my Internet connection. This is all they ever tell you as an excuse. It's never their platform, it's always your Internet. Also there's just not a lot of features that the other big webinar services have. All in all, it's just not worth it. Marketer E-Learning Used the software for: 2+ years ### "It is Shady" April 30, 2021 1.0 not so good. Pros The third-party integrations are good. I have seen many tools gicing such integrations. Cons This tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar. You cant turn off the chat. They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy. Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool. Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful. Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer. Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. I reached out their customer support team with very specific questions about their technology and where it was hosted - because of several bad experiences I had with other companies. Their team responded quickly and provided every piece of information that I asked for. I am pleased to say that their platform has lived up to all of my expectations to date. Pros Demio has a simple and clean user interface that was fast to set-up and very easy to use. Cons Lack of integrations is the only CON that I have. I really wish there was a pay wall option either PayPal or Stripe. Having to use Zapier is not convenient or ideal. Reason for choosing Demio Aside from a payment integration, Demio offers all of the features that I need at a reasonable price and they do it with US based staff who are responsive, and very helpful. Founder E-Learning Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "The only webinar platform I tried " October 29, 2020 5.0 Pros I tried a lot of different webinar platforms and Demio by far, was the most up to date of them all. Its platform is incredibly easy to use and very pleasing to look at too. A lot of other webinar platforms are very dated. A major plus for me (because I wanted to set up automated and evergreen webinars) was that Demio allows you to upload your video files directly to it. Other platforms I found force you to do a live recording and use that as your evergreen webinar. Either that or link an existing YouTube or Vimeo video which looks unprofessional and jarring in a webinar environment. Cons There are a few things I feel are missing from Demio. One is being able to send a replay link to people who attended on-demand or evergreen webinars so they can watch again if they missed it. Another is having the times listed when users register be visible in their local timezone. You can only set a timezone right now. So if you're in a different timezone to the person registering, they would need to work out the actual time of the webinar based on the time-zone displayed. Having said this, Demio have brilliant support and when I flagged this with them, they added it to their suggested improvements area. You can then 'vote' for changes you'd like to see. So I have no doubt these changes will happen in the future. I integrate with ClickFunnels and ActiveCampaign. Mostly I’ve used it to run lead gen webinars. I’ve never had any issues with it, and my show up rates have all been really good. I also cancelled my recurring webinar tool because they added recurring automated webinar. They are constantly improving the product too, each month coming out with new things. Love the tool. Everything is really intuitive and easy to setup - Great support , the team there is amazing, responsive, supportive and love their customers - Users don’t need to download anything to use it, they just click and they’re in the webinar - Integrates with all the tools I’m using - Can run polls, update downloads, ask question, all kinds of stuff to engage the audience - Automatically records each webinar - Can setup automated recurring webinars - Can setup triggers to follow up with people who didn’t show up, who left early, watched the entire webinar, etc. Cons Can’t think of anything at the moment. Pros 1) Ability to upload presentation material such as videos and share them. 2) Ability to do hybrid webinars. 3) Ease of use both for the host and the participants 4) Brading with custom content. Cons 1) It takes too long to upload presentation material, especially video. 2) There does not seem to a method to create a library of the presentation materials so that I can upload once and share them across multiple webinars. 3) It would be better if on-demand webinars could be enabled so that, optionally, approval by the host is needed before the attendee can view it. 4)The pricing is a bit steep. I wish the pricing model based on the number of attendees and/or the number of webinars. It would make it easier for beginners like us to adapt and grow with it.
