Content Strategist Staffing and Recruiting Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Simple to use; customer success available for help" March 14, 2022 5.0 Loxo has helped our team stay productive despite working from home during COVID. It has helped them connect with candidates and clients using SMS and email without having to manually document every single message. I also appreciate the back office features that help track placements as well as make customizing Loxo easier. Email and text templates have proven very simple for brand management. Pros At HealthCare Connections, Inc. we use Loxo every day. I found Loxo quite simple to use after a bit of a learning curve with boolean searches. The chat feature of Loxo is probably the most helpful feature in Loxo becuase if I am unsure how to do something or need help with anything, someone in customer success is always there within minutes to assist. They are also quite receptive to suggestions and constructive criticism. In fact, we have had several of our suggestions integrated into their updates. Cons Among our team the least liked feature is the lack of being quickly able to decipher if a job is permament or contract. That said, there is only about 2 clicks required to figure this out, but it could be even easier if the choice showed on a search. Review Source Beth E. Anytime I've had any technical issues, they've been on it to fix within minutes. When you make suggestions, they are very open to making improvements. What I like about Loxo is that it's a one stop for all my needs. Before I started with Loxo, I had demo's with many other systems, and while a few of them were slightly less expensive up front, they would end up costing me more due to the integrations that Loxo has to offer. For example, without Loxo I would have to have separate Job Board accounts with limited posts, would have to get an email campaign program and an autoresponder, I would have to add a texting app and pay for leads from a lead source (they provide 100 free email leads per month). I don't have the AI Jobs but is something I would like to consider adding on in the future. Pros This software combines an ATS, CRM, Job Posting Tool, Candidate Tracking, Texting, Campaigns, customization, AI technology, and more. They are continually improving and making the program better and better. Cons When posting jobs, there isn't a multiple post feature or a mass edit/delete/repost option. So every two weeks when I refresh my job posts, it's a long task to refresh, close, or add new jobs one at a time. An option to mass update/post would be a great feature. Review Source LH Lee H. They were desperately needed. Pros Loxo created a one stop shop for us to be able to find candidates, reach out to them and then track the progress throughout the system. Loxo's customer support team is the most responsive and genuine team I've ever worked with. They always made sure I was in a good spot. Loxo allowed us to remove several outside tools/subscriptions as they had everything you need on one platform. Cons A few minor email capabilities but they're the kind of company who truly listens to their users. They'll add modifications and adjustments as they see fit. Review Source JH Justin H. Pros There is nothing clunky about Loxo at all. Very user-friendly, intuitive and easy to spin up new requirements (and new clients even easier) while including as many or as few talent acquisition team members to quickly and effectively get the req into production and identify candidates through the database or capturing applicants. Cons While not something I necessarily "dislike", it would be nice to view job details for multiple jobs within a single page versus the need to open multiple tabs. Like many recruiters, my browser windows are consistently chock-full of tabs and the need to refresh pages in various tabs while supporting efforts on multiple requirements can be cumbersome. The only other suggestion would be a "preview" option or a quicker path to job details or job descriptions besides going through an edit screen. Review Source WL Walt L. It's not like Bullhorn where you have to create a ticket and wait... They're on it and will do whatever they have to do to make things work. The support is probably the best of any company I deal with personally and professionally. Pros The product just makes sense for what we do as recruiters. Adding candidates and clients from LinkedIn using Loxo's Chrome extension is quick and seamless. Creating jobs, adding candidates to those jobs, and visually seeing where they are in the process via Loxo's candidate pipeline is amazing. Unlike Bullhorn, when you search in Loxo, you can be confident those candidates or clients will show up in the results. It's a night and day difference and in a different league. Cons That we used Bullhorn for so long before making the switch. February 16, 2022 5.0 I've enjoyed working in the product, and the team has been nothing but helpful and responsive since Day 1. I would definitely recommend Loxo to anyone looking for a combination of intuitive ATS features and sourcing capabilities within one single platform. Pros I found the ATS functionality to be very intuitive and robust. It's very easy to source candidates in Loxo or add them manually into the platform, and then assign them to a particular job. With the ease of tracking candidates' activity, logging call or email notes, and moving them throughout the pipeline, Loxo does a great job of making the recruiting process more efficient. This is definitely appreciated, especially at a reasonable budget for a small team like ours! Cons Although not a major complaint, I sometimes found the sourcing function to be less than adequate, given missing profile information for candidates. That said, they recently completed a major update and the databases should be more accurate and up-to-date now, for more reliable sourcing. Review Source DO Dennis O. We use it for our prospecting of new and existing clients, operational contact management, and obviously sourcing candidates for recruiting in a tight labor market that Colorado has currently. Shortens the sale cycle, helps us drive out non value, and increase our market share. Cons We didn't realize all of the benefits of a coordinated effort between Sales and Recruiting functionality. We where under utilizing this software to define the passive market from both a sales and recruiting perspective. They are a growth company and need to tout the synergy between sales funnels and recruiting funnels. July 18, 2017 5.0 easy to input and find candidates within the software, cut research time in half. Pros Easy to use interface. The loxo Chrome attachment is awesome. It has cat my research time in half. The calling interface is really cool. The way that it tracks everything I do with a candidate. Phone calls, email, submission etc... Works really well. They are also on top of constantly updating and then letting you know what the update is and how to use it. I do not use the forms feature but it looks easy to use based on the video instructional they put out after it was released. Every new feature or update is like that. I am an old school recruiter that was just looking for a place to store resumes and have easy search features to find them later. This does that and a whole lot more. So well and easy to use that it pushed me to using a lot of features I never thought I would use. I was using BigBiller before this is head and shoulders better in everyway. Cons The mobile version is terrible!!!! Only complaint. Man it is so hard to access candidate info. I have to turn my iphone sideways and you still do not get the whole details screen. Support and training always helps me feel connected. Pros The combination of ATS and VOIP all-in-one is great. Support is strong, if I ask to see an instructional video showing how to complete a function they send me a link. Plus there is an archive of training videos I can access independently. In certain situations they have custom made a quick video for me that demonstrates a solution to the problem I'm having. In other situations, they connect with me live to solve problems. Training and problem solving is always resourceful. Cons Look forward to enhancements on the current auto-resume branding function. Reason for choosing Loxo Combination ATS & VOIP all-in-one. I've already recommended it to another boutique agency and they've implemented it. Pros Loxo is visually very pleasing; love the way it imports candidate/ company pictures and the look/ flow overall. I love you can keep track in real time of the candidate flow, how it imports the teams' emails to candidate profiles so everyone is in the loop, and even though it's only accurate about half the time, the "reveal contact info" is very useful. Cons The contact info reveal could be more accurate, but that's really my only "complaint". Reason for choosing Loxo Even though it was a bit more pricey, I like the visuals, the AI matching/ internal database is nice, and the customer support is always quick with any answers. I think this is a great tool. Pros \- Being able to easily flush my candidate's Linkedin profile to Loxo is huge, easy and amazing. - Creating drip campaigns is an easy task, to say the least. - Loxo Source is years ahead of other ATSs Cons \- I'd love to be able to respond through Loxo to people who respond to my drip campaigns. Currently, I have to go back to email. Not crushing, but it would be easier to work out of 1 system. - AI Matching is good. No one is great, but I'd like to see Loxo crush everyone. I have not used another ATS so I may be biased but I love the functionality of Loxo. When other companies approach our team, we usually find that Loxo offers most if not all of what we need compared to other similar products. The support team is responsive and friendly and resolve issues quickly. The newer automation features have been a game-changer for us. Cons We would LOVE the ability to text from a cell phone. I have nothing constructive to say at this point. I am very happy with Loxo. Pros What I like best about Loxo is that it is an ATS & CRM! I have been using the Loxo free version and just decided to invest in the premium version and I am super excited as there are so many more benefits & features. I have been following Loxo since I started my business and I can’t believe how the platform has evolved in just over a year and a half. Using Loxo helps me become much more efficient, saving time and keeping organized. Cons There are some features that are not available in Canada but will be rolled out soon, within the next 2 months. Very intuitive. There are probably a ton of bells and whistles I have not taken advantage of but for tracking information, it works well. Cons Some of the layout could use some tweaking- I'll add a company address and it's not clearly displayed on the company file etc. Additionally I wish you could add a contact and easily add the company (maybe you can and I just haven't figured it out). Reason for choosing Loxo I liked the interface better with Loxo. I also have a back office group that said they could easily interface with Loxo which helped.
