### "Live Love Loxo"

February 1, 2026

5.0

I love loxo and could not imagine recruiting without it. Recruiting is a grind, and they do a great job at making it as simple as possible. Whether it's the layout and applicant tracking features, or the lists that shave off days to fill when working on a new req. Very happy with loxo and will continue recommending it to fellow recruiters.

Pros

My favorite thing about loxo is how user friendly it is. I am not a super btech-savy person, and loxo just makes sense. If for whatever reason there is something you can't figure out, there are countless training videos and their AI customer service bot is actually very helpful. I love how responsive the team is. If I am experiencing or have a potential idea for improvement, I can reach out to someone on linkedin and it is actually heard.

Cons

On occasion, some of the profiles don't update and have out of date information. I expressed this a few times with the team and they actually rolled out a feature where you are able to update a profile if you notice some of the information is missing. So great!

### "LOXO the good/Bad"

January 16, 2026

3.0

Solid C+. Customer service is mainly AI driven, but figured out the work around, my customer service requests will go to a human if I add a screen shot, and state that in subject. Price increases and under delivers in CRM function and formatting resumes. Not worth the coin

Pros

The connection and searchability it has with Linkedin. ATS portion of LOXO is strong. Web site connection was convenient

Cons

Where LOXO Misses the Mark for My Team, sharing to help and hope LOXO fixes I have been in recruitment a long time and know what works in the real world. LOXO has some strengths, but there are fundamental issues that make it frustrating to use day to day. They need a senior recruiter who has actually used the system for a year or more to audit it properly. CRM Feels bolted on, not a core part of the platform Automated campaigns are limited and clunky Makes proper client management and BD harder than it should be Resume Formatting Word resumes get butchered and lose formatting PDFs are fine, but most resumes come in as Word Constant rebranding and reformatting required before sending to clients Interview notes and candidate summaries also lose formatting Output looks like sloppy cut and paste work Client Delivery Forced branded resume format looks like a LinkedIn profile with a watermark Does not look professional and reflects poorly with clients Formatting is unreliable My team often sends resumes and notes through Outlook instead of LOXO Printing and Document Handling No direct printing from LOXO Every resume must be downloaded to a PC first Small issue, but it adds up fast and clutters storage Job Posting and Integrations Weak results from job board postings, especially free boards Integrations feel clunky and half baked Integrations are expensive for the value provided Implementation Implementation lead was smart but not a recruiter Lacked understanding of real recruiting workflows Came across as smug during integration This shows in how the system is designed and rolled out Pricing Very expensive for what the platform delivers, w/ 5% increases every yr and high integration costs, transferring my old DB was a shit show and rushed to review it, but the errors showed up months after- too late at that point to get them to fix unless u want to pay. Automatic five percent price increases every year Overall value does not match the cost What Works ATS functionality is solid Sourcing tools are strong There is real potential if fundamentals are fixed Bottom Line The demo sold a better experience than what was delivered Core workflow, CRM, formatting, and client delivery need serious work With real recruiter input, LOXO would be ideal Right now, it is not there yet

Response from Loxo

January 19, 2026

Thanks for the thoughtful, detailed review. We’re glad searchability, sourcing, and the ATS have been strong for you. We’re disappointed the overall experience didn’t match what you expected, especially in the areas you noted. We take pride in creating a simple workflow, so if something led to extra manual work for you, we're curious to understand this better. Recruiting workflows vary a lot by team, and we’re continuously improving the platform to better support the real-world ways recruiters work. If you’re open to it, we’d love to connect and take a closer look at your setup and examples so we can help resolve what’s happening and share your feedback with the right teams. Thanks again for taking the time to share this.

### "Best in class "

July 21, 2025

5.0

I've been using Loxo for a year now, and it's the best recruitment software I've ever used. The UI is great, they're constantly developing new features, support team is excellent, and they're really focused on continuously evolving and improving the platform. Highly recommend

Pros

Constant innovation and adding incredible new features at a regular basis. The focus on AI is a real plus for our business going forward.

Cons

Nothing really so far, very impressed. One possible note is some of the data in Loxo Source can be outdated, but it's few and far between

### "Mixed experience. Started great but latterly disappointing."

January 8, 2025

3.0

Started off great, but deteriorated. A company focused on growth, not retention. Better than some other tools I've seen.

Pros

It was great that everything came in one package when I was starting out. This made things easy. As I used the product the best feature was the Outreach tool. The onboarding videos were very good.

Cons

The support was poor and it would take ages for them to respond. While the LinkedIn parsing was good, it was slow compared to other similar tools. I felt they spent a lot of time creating features that were not of a high enough quality to add value, but there to attract more clients. The AI was not very good, Loxo source was often outdated and didn't replace LinkedIn recruiter, and the deal board setup made it hard to effectively manage your BD pipeline. Email management between personal and company emails for contacts was also an ongoing challenge when using Loxo Connect. This made me live in fear of emailing candidate email to a work address. Latterly, the price was no longer competitive. Lack of integration with Zapier was a deal breaker for me at renewal alongside the poor search functionality. Ultimately this was costing money.

As easy as it was to learn on my own in the tutorials, onboarding has been a stellar experience. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been incredibly helpful and has some stellar tips and tricks in her back pocket for custom set-ups.

Pros

Customization with the all-in-one platform has been awesome! Being able to use the same platform across multiple industries has been great.

Cons

Would like to link HQ & Subsidiary companies in a section much like deals & attachments or forms. Would love to have placements be its own page on the menu too.

### "LOXO - NOT an end-to-end recruitment solution "

October 21, 2024

1.0

funneled my dismay and issues up SEVERAL times, get teh same pat on teh head that we will work with you to "fix" these issues. All the "fixes" are yet another "work-around" which makes more work for me. As I said, sold an end to end recruitment tool and got a dogs-breakfast from a company that will keep a dissatisfied customer for the money as my money is obviously way more important than my customer satisfaction. Maybe in 5 years this will work, but for now it is charging a LOT of money for an ugly to work with product. Excel spreadsheets would work better.

Pros

What i was sold and what is are two vastly different things. I was sold and end to end recruitment tool that would most importantly save me time. It does not. It costs me time. At best Loxo is a sourcing tool, that has yet to net a single candidate for my vertical.

Cons

It is NOT an end to end recruitment service - you can send resumes to your clients if you want them to look like a dogs breakfast. Everything is "clunky" for lack of a better term and because you have to constantly go out of the program to actually work, there is no continuity. I am bitterly disappointed and they are forcing me to stay through the contract so I will be developing my company on another ATS while I wait out my term.

### "Loxo is the new AI powered software to hire candidates for your practice!"

January 17, 2025

4.0

Overall, Loxo is user friendly and allows you to keep up with candidates in a important way.

Pros

Loxo uses AI which is user friendly. It is super easy to tag candidates you are looking to hire and then search hiring groups by tag, which is unique to the software.

Cons

Loxo creates multiple profiles for the same person if they are candidates for multiple jobs. This gets messy and confusing. A few times, emails and text will not sync in real time.

### "Great CRM and ATS"

November 4, 2024

5.0

Overall a good experience for our recruitment process. The support team is based in the US, so those in Europe get a delayed answer which sometimes can cause delays in the work.

Pros

Loxo Source is great tool to easily find candidates. The Loxo extension as well works perfectly and fairly fast. We moved to Loxo from a custom ATS which meant a very complex and tedious migration, however, even though it took longer then anticipated, the Loxo engineering team made it happen.

Cons

One thing that could be done better is the alignment between the sales and the support team. I think the sales team oversell the tool as all-powerful and all-potent, but then after the purchase we say that that is not the case. We were expecting reports to be able to do calculations, but later found out that they are based on logic. Now we need to redo most reports and then do the calculations elsewhere.

### "Excellent choice for recruitment agency owners looking for an all-in-one system"

August 14, 2024

5.0

Loxo has been a great partner in my recruiting business since the beginning. I've had good support from customer service and the product has continued to be refined with additional features and improvements on existing features. I'm comfortable recommending Loxo as a tool for agency recruiters based on my experience with Loxo for more than 5 years.

Pros

User interface is a standout feature as is the number of useful features from CRM to contact info to sales engagement. The bundling with phone and text features for Outreach really streamlines our tech stack enabling us to have a simpler setup for new users.

Cons

Pricing is always a challenge when you're working with a good product. We don't utilize all of the features or some features are more useful in certain contexts than others. Because of that, I consider value to be a key metric for how you're using the product and value will vary by use case.

### "The magic key for startup recruiting"

August 2, 2024

5.0

I recommend this software to all my friends and colleagues.

Pros

I liked that the pricing is excellent, and that I can do outbound and inbound recruiting all in one platform. The Loxo Source database is excellent, very similar to LinkedIn boolean search. For inbound, it integrates with Indeed and LinkedIn company page with contacting those support teams. This gets the job out all over the internet so that you get the widest funnel. For outbound, I can do mass email campaigns and the unlimited plan is great. I can source personal emails without having to use a separate email finder like SalesQL and a separate email sequence software and a separate ATS and manually integrating them. Many other outbound recruiting softwares only allow you to add one (Gem) or 25 (Workable) prospects to a campaign at a time. But there is power in numbers, and Loxo currently allows you to add all results of a Boolean search, up to 5000 a day. Their email server Sent via Loxo is great to optimize deliverability, and they also help users optimize deliverability of their domain. They do allow self hosted instances in the enterprise plan for additional cybersecurity and integration with MS 365 instead of Google Workspace.

Cons

The software has some bugs, but it is continuously improving. I am glad that the team is receptive to my suggestions for features and bug reports. The software is a behemoth of features, so of course it is complex. It took me 1-2 weeks to go through setup and training before I became familiar with the software and its quirks enough to recruit for a position. They strongly encourage annual contracts, but small business customers and startups definitely prefer month to month flexibility. I was able to negotiate month to month at a higher price.

Pros

Exceptional. The product is a game changer. The operational side of the software is, by far, ahead of anything else on the market allowing us to make significant time and cost savings across the entire process as well delivering results for clients rapidly, sometimes as quickly as 24 hours.

Pros

A game changing approach to traditional recruitment and applicant tracking systems - nothing compared!

Cons

At the time of purchase the UK data was behind that of the US. However, the promises made by the team have been kept and we've not only seen significant improvements to the amount of data and the quality of data, Loxo have also opened a European office in support of its development in the UK and Europe.

### "Loxo - An Outstanding Solution for Recruiting Agencies"

July 15, 2022

5.0

Our old ATS could barely automate communication. Candidates were slipping through the cracks and being left in the dark. They felt jaded about our service and did not want to work with us. We were also losing time due to a terrible and outdated UI. Loxo allowed us to automate 90% of our communication, and it was much easier to work with. This freed up our time to work on higher impact tasks.

Pros

The UI/UX is intuitive and clean. As a former software engineer, I felt very comfortable navigating the various features. It allowed me to self-learn without having to get support on the phone every day. The various customizations helped us a ton. It allowed us to tie automation to the job stage on a per-candidate basis. This helped us automate almost all of our communication which resulted in a tremendous candidate experience. No one got left in the dark, and we were able to employ a robust nurturing process as a result. We also utilized the google chrome extension a ton to bring in passive candidates to the system. We could then easily put those candidates on a drip campaign via Loxo Outreach. This handled our passive outreach almost exclusively. When we needed support, they were lightning fast. I cannot stress this enough - the Loxo customer support team is by far the best I have ever dealt with for a SaaS product. They were incredibly accommodating and prompt. There is a live chat feature where the team is always ready to go.

Cons

For our very specific use case and the future direction of our company, we needed to get more out of the API. We are rolling out a recruiting SaaS product, and the API was not robust enough for us.

### "Best in Class"

June 11, 2019

5.0

I run an in-house talent acquisition company. None of the in-house ATS's wanted anything to do with us so our options were limited to "agency" ATS's. Loxo's ease of use, data enrichment features and modern interface are far ahead of the others in this category. HireScale aims to blur the lines, and Loxo is a great tool that's helping us reach our goals.

Pros

Loxo is easily the best agency based ATS on the market. For my business, I find the data enrichment features extremely useful. Whether I'm using it to track customer data or for the candidates, it seamlessly syncs with my email and offers quick ways to log, tag, track, send bulk email, customize templates and launch reqs. The feedback I get from candidates is always pleasant. It's easy for them to apply and no barriers for entry so our conversions rates are outstanding. I also like that they're continually launching helpful improvements and new features. Finally, the staff is responsive and genuinely cares about the customer. Compared to other products I've used, it's best in class by far. Loxo is simple, reliable, clean and always improving--what more could you want out of an agency-side ATS?

Cons

I would like to see more co-branding features, but this is pretty specific to our business model and Loxo is one of the only platforms I've found who offers any co-branding features so we're able to make it work.

### "Successful first year of using Loxo for an agency"

April 10, 2022

4.0

At the heart of every recruitment business lies an ATS system that helps recruiters manage relationships. It's an essential product for us and has helped us to develop stronger relationships in the market through Loxo's technology.

Pros

After working in recruitment for over 5 years, I've used about 4 - 5 different ATS platforms. From my experience, Loxo sits up there with the best options in the market. What Loxo does well is that it offers a well-designed user interface that isn't overcomplicated or overengineered. That was one of my main requirements when selecting an ATS system as I've often found that previous systems are unneccasirly overcomplicated. The pipeline is very customisable and can be altered to an agency's unique process flow. I also like how you're not required to create calendar events when moving candidates to interviews - some ATS systems require this and we prefer creating events on our calendar separately. Outreach is a great feature that we use very often for multiple use cases. It also removes the need for third-party sales software - I don't think any other ATS competitors offer this feature. Reports are generally well-put-together and easy to interpret.

Cons

There is nothing that I strongly dislike about Loxo. One feature that we don't use but pay for is Loxo Source. I think it's a great feature but the data is still getting there in terms of accuracy for our geography (Asia). I understand that the US is the primary focus market at the moment for this feature and Asia data will improve over time so maybe in the future, we will begin to use it more. Pricing is generally higher than competitors, but ultimately I think that's not an issue because we believe the value is worth it. Support is generally very good - given that we're based in Asia and support is over in the US, there are times where there is a slight delay (usually after a weekend) but generally no issues at all. We've never had any urgent requests as the platform has had 100% uptime during our usage.

### "Big fan of this product!"

April 3, 2022

5.0

My experience has been great, and I have enjoyed working with their team on a regular basis. They are very accessible, friendly, and helpful, and have made it easy and enjoyable to get set up and continue working within the system.

Pros

The best part about the product is the customer support team. They are extremely accessible, very quick to respond, and always extremely helpful. This has been extremely helpful in the initial set up phase of the system as that is generally one of the hardest parts of getting used to any ATS/CRM, but the Loxo team has made this a much smoother, easier, and enjoyable transition. This is a very feature-rich application. From the built-in sourcing tool, to the all-in-one ATS/CRM, to the AI searching capabilities, along with texting, email, and even calling outreach capabilities this system has so many features that allow for teams of all sizes to take advantage. I also really like the UI and the way the system is setup. Although there are so many features, they do a great job of keeping it simple and user-friendly. I have used other ATS systems and reviewed or demoed several others, and Loxo is by far my favorite.

Cons

The only con I can think of the results on the AI search results aren't always returned within the same search parameters, but that depends on how remote the location is.

### "Modern, Efficient, and Easy to Use. Loxo is TOP NOTCH Recruiting Software!"

January 5, 2023

5.0

A+ from Customer Service to the functionality of the software. It does everything as described and then some! The migration of data went much smoother than I anticipated. I was nervous we would lose notes, activities, contact information, resumes etc. Everything has gone perfect and the learning curve with our 35+ associates was much smaller than I expected and planned for.

Pros

Managing the pipeline and stages is easy to use and organized. It is at least 3x faster than our previous CRM / ATS. Searching for candidates within your database has never been easier.

Cons

Nothing much at this time. It would be nice is 3rd party phone / VOIP services could be integrated so our calls / texts are logged automatically. However, it sounds like Loxo will be upgrading their internal phone system in the near future.

We were looking for something that was more modern and could improve efficiencies. The Loxo software has a beautiful way of creating reports that can be prepared and sent to a client for search updates in a matter of 1-2 minutes. After 20 years with our previous CRM, it was time for us to upgrade and invest in our future.

### "Amazing ATS"

March 8, 2022

5.0

I had an outstanding experience with Loxo and I am excited to use them again when the time comes - I recently joined a dream company as an internal resource so that is the sole reason I am no longer going to be using them, otherwise I would intend to use this platform as opposed to the other ATS/CRM systems out there. Great price and does more than many others that I have used before.

Pros

I really enjoyed how user friendly this platform was in terms of integrating data from LinkedIn as well as moving through the different steps of the hiring/interview process. It was very easy to find candidates and input notes on every conversation. I will use this platform again when the time comes that I have my own business and I've actually already recommended it to various recruiting firms.

Cons

I think the platform was amazing overall but of course there could always be improvements, perhaps the AI sourcing tool could include whether candidates are on active or passive but this would be difficult to make happen as most the data is coming from sources like LinkedIn regarding the skillsets.

It seemed better for my business needs and the AI tool was very interesting to me. It also allows me to reveal the numbers and emails of candidates from the extracted data via sites like DiscoverOrg and ZoomInfo which was nice. It was also extremely user friendly.

### "Overpriced and Under-delivers"

May 11, 2020

1.0

I've realized no benefits using this tool and my clients did not like the interface so didn't use it and it didn't provide any value to me in terms of data. It's basically a warehouse for my resumes for now until I migrate out. I'm disappointed in myself for picking Loxo and should have done more homework. After vetting several ATS systems I chose them and sorry I did. Learned my lesson. Going to buy out of my contract and switch.

Pros

their resume parsing technology isn't bad.

Cons

Not only is Loxo more expensive $119-198/month than other ATS out there. I thought I would get more robust functionality but it's hard to close a job and have it show up in reporting as closed and it doesn't track fees in the pipeline as promised. No Linkedin integration. Integration of my data from previous ATS took over 8 weeks instead of the 3 that was promised and once complete it was a mess. I spent about 8 hours cleaning it up. Come to find out a college student/intern was doing it. I was led to believe the Company was much bigger than it is. Less than 15 employees. I thought I was signing a month to month contract but found out after it was a year which I take ownership of -not reading fine print. I requested to get out of contract after 90 days post implementation and they refused. I asked again and they refused but gave me a 30% monthly discount but then turned off half the functionality unbeknownst to me because of the discount. Awful.

Reason for choosing Loxo

I thought I was getting a better client interface tool and the ability to integrate with Linkedin as well as text chat with candidates. I got none of that.

Response from Loxo

June 9, 2020

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are apologetic for your unsatisfactory experience with our product and service. We invest an incredible amount of our resources and energy into fostering a world-class user experience, so when someone has a poor experience we do everything we can to understand why learn, and improve. While we understand you had a poor experience and your desire to share that, we wanted to make sure we pointed out any false information that could misdirect other customers. We do have reports for closed-won jobs and placement fees. Your data migration took 6 weeks which falls within our standard timeline. The migration was done by a professional data engineer. The contract states "Annual Contract Billed Month to Month," we do not have this hidden in the fine print and try to be as transparent as possible with our customers. Your poor experience is very rare for our team and we sincerely apologize. We hope you find a good partner moving forward.

### "100% satisfied. Surpassed all of my expectations. "

April 20, 2023

5.0

Loxo came highly recommended to me in 2020. I had been looking for a sophisticated, yet user-friendly CRM ATS system to replace my old system which was frustrating and full of time-wasting redundancies. After receiving the Loxo demo, I said to myself, “If this software does half of what I’m seeing, my life is about to get a whole lot easier.” I signed up immediately and must say that the experience has surpassed my expectations. Loxo’s AI technology and organic flow of searching and communicating with candidates continues to impress me. But it’s the customer service that has absolutely blown me away. It’s the best I’ve ever experienced. From Day 1 to today, I have been 100% satisfied with my decision. Keep being you, Loxo, you guys are awesome!

Pros

Loxo’s AI technology and organic flow of searching and communicating with candidates. The oustanding customer service!

Cons

I'm always happy to share the cons but none come to mind for Loxo.

### "Loxo is a great all-in-one solution for recruiting"

June 1, 2023

5.0

Pros

The platform is robust, offering solutions for sourcing, pipeline management, ATS, CRM, business development, management and back office processes...yet it's really intuitive and easy to use. They also offer great support through use cases and live chat.

Cons

We haven't found Loxo lacking in any way.

Loxo is as good if not better than LinkedIn for sourcing candidates, plus Loxo gives you the additional tools for marketing, business development, CRM, etc.

### "Simple to use; customer success available for help"

March 14, 2022

5.0

Loxo has helped our team stay productive despite working from home during COVID. It has helped them connect with candidates and clients using SMS and email without having to manually document every single message. I also appreciate the back office features that help track placements as well as make customizing Loxo easier. Email and text templates have proven very simple for brand management.

Pros

At HealthCare Connections, Inc. we use Loxo every day. I found Loxo quite simple to use after a bit of a learning curve with boolean searches. The chat feature of Loxo is probably the most helpful feature in Loxo becuase if I am unsure how to do something or need help with anything, someone in customer success is always there within minutes to assist. They are also quite receptive to suggestions and constructive criticism. In fact, we have had several of our suggestions integrated into their updates.

Cons

Among our team the least liked feature is the lack of being quickly able to decipher if a job is permament or contract. That said, there is only about 2 clicks required to figure this out, but it could be even easier if the choice showed on a search.

### "Great software/Stellar support"

December 9, 2020

5.0

Every one of my people is in Loxo hour by hour, minute by minute. We use it to track our core business, which is recruiting. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] called me a few years ago and we made the switch. We're thrilled that we did.

Pros

We chose Loxo because it looks and works great. We try to attract innovators and previous products felt like they were designed in the 90s. Loxo is contemporary, thoughtful, and highly useable. We also think the world of their support staff. They always go above and beyond every day!

Cons

The CRM (meaning biz dev tracking) functions are not very robust. I know they weren't designed first as a CRM and they've nailed the ATS piece, but would love for a more usable CRM.

Reason for choosing Loxo

Loxo was the best and easiest product that we tested. We looked at every option that can be used by a 3rd party recruiting firm like ours. I don't want to say who we switched from or who else we considered because I don't want to trash anyone. Also, I haven't looked at other options since we made the move, so those other products could be very different. BUT, know that we looked at everything with a very critical eye and Loxo outshone them all.

### "Big fan of Loxo"

September 1, 2022

5.0

Grateful that Loxo came in and changed the talent platform industry. They were desperately needed.

Pros

Loxo created a one stop shop for us to be able to find candidates, reach out to them and then track the progress throughout the system. Loxo's customer support team is the most responsive and genuine team I've ever worked with. They always made sure I was in a good spot. Loxo allowed us to remove several outside tools/subscriptions as they had everything you need on one platform.

Cons

A few minor email capabilities but they're the kind of company who truly listens to their users. They'll add modifications and adjustments as they see fit.
