I can't rave enough about how easy to use this software is even for those who may be technically challenged. BoardPro has given me back a big chunk of time that I used to spend on creating and distributing Board packs. Our organisation has now also implemented BoardPro for our committees and to have one software for all meetings is time saving and has given our Directors only one place to go for all things Governance. I also need to mention the outstanding customer serve BoardPro is providing. You always get quick answers and solutions to any queries and problems you may have. Pros This product is extremely easy to use both for the Directors and Administrators and has all the essential features without over complicating things. The attonation feature is excellent as well as building the Agenda and taking Minutes is very seamless. Cons It would be good if the Index page could be an optional feature as it adds more pages to the Board Pack. The software t felt really intuitive, and I could see that it would also work for our busy Directors as minimal training was required. March 29, 2023 5.0 Boardpro has really helped us improve our communications prior to meetings, manage and document information within meetings and track and complete our actions after the meetings. I think it has actually helped us speed up and get more done! Pros I really love the intuitive document storage and ease finding and tracking reference documents. The in or out of meeting voting polls are fantastic as well as the meeting minutes features. Great tool that has improved the quality of our meetings! Cons Nothing I feel is missing at this point, just took all our users a little while to get used to. Once we had all practised a little we were away. Pros I love how quick and easy it is to create and move around agenda items and upload attachments.When inserting new agenda items or changing sequence, BoardPro automatically renumbers all attachments. Love this!Board members receive automated reminders about their meetings and actions.BoardPro efficiently produces a single document (Board Pack) containing the agenda and all attachments with hyperlinks for easy navigation during the meeting. It was also effortless to setup and the BoardPro team were there if I needed them. I have used dozens of 'Cloud Apps' and without exception, most had steep learning curves and ' time to value'. BoardPro is an exception this. Within 30 minutes, I had built my first board pack and distributed the meeting agenda and items to my directors. It's easy for Board Members to use (even the less technically minded ones). Cons Storage and access to associated documents is good but could be improved allowing editing and linking within the software. Reason for choosing BoardPro Much better value for our needs. The platform makes logical sense. The meeting follow-up tools (action items, decision register, etc.) mean that matters are not missed. I think it's a great product, and have told others about it. Pros It is so simple to create and edit agendas without having to manually restructure all items. The minute-taking process is intuitive and the text/decision/action prompts are awesome. We selected BoardPro as our board portal tool as it clearly seem to best meet our anticipated needs. The initial "Try BoardPro for free" offer meant we were able to engage with the product without any risk - this was complemented by the excellent online customer service provided by PoardPro. Pros BoardPro's best features include the automated agenda building process, the board pack builder, taking meeting minutes in real-time and having action points automatically followed up - all major important time-saving benefits for a resource-lean charitable organisation. Cons We are not aware of any major show-stoppers in terms of what the BoardPro software cannot do. We like their programme of continuous improvements and new features being added regularly. It has allowed our team to easily stay on top of meeting dates, agendas, file attachments, meeting minutes and allocated task reminders. Pros \- Meeting notifications and diary entries- Clean and easy navigation of menus- Tracking and reminders for task allocations- Easy meeting minutes taking. Cons Nothing that I can think of. Having all documents related to meetings in one place, particularly for handover for a person replacing someone on the committee. 2. Tasking feature so everything is done and email reminders keep everyone on track Cons We have quarterly two day meetings and BoardPro only allows a meeting to go for one day which means our timings on the minutes are never correct. The ease of creating, updating , and minuting meetings on-line is a liberation for the GM. Board Members no longer need to tote books around the country and refer to additional sheets of paper. They can annotate their meeting papers on screen and arrive at the meeting with everything they need and all actions completed thanks to the Action Items auto email reminders. Pros Using BoardPro is easy and intuitive to use but when you do hit a brick wall the comprehensive 'help' articles solve most problems. Beyond self help, the chat-line is so prompt and effective that it should be held up as THE bench mark for customer service - it's friendly, nimble and one of the team will even call you if you are really stuck. Cons The inflexibility of drop down dialogue boxes means that they get in the way when you need to see something that they are blocking - drag and drop would be a great addition.
