Always interested to discover more of its features Pros We adopted the NFP version in 2025, which was step up from the old school paper shuffle. It has made for a simpler, more efficient flow of information and meeting management. Cons Nothing specifically. That is sorted now and I am able to log in directly to each organisation. The minute taking process is also very good, easy to produce and then easy to confirm in the next meeting pack. Pros Easy to use, easy to load up papers and share information with Board members. Well structured to identify decisions, noting, etc and easy to attach papers. Cons Having to move between agenda and board pack in the checking phase. When I've finished a draft version of the pack being able to download and review the entire pack is not entirely intuitive. I also find the built in help topics generally helpful. When I have needed further guidance, I have been able to submit my question and get personalised responses. Pros It is easy to create agendas and upload documents. I also really like the flying minute function and ability to create Board only folders. Cons The search function is generally good - it searches within document titles for the whole site, or for keywords within a particular board pack. However I would also love the master search function to search for keywords within documents. It has made my work as a LIANZA Board member much more easier, faster and efficient and BoardPro kept me connected and up to date with all comms and my fellow colleagues. Cons Superb quality of file sharing and editable functionalities, it never failed to provide timely and essentials updates and access to board data and information. March 11, 2026 5.0 I'm now using BoardPro with two of the boards I'm involved with - both are NFPs and BoardPro has been a game changer for both. One is an older more established charity; the other more in a start up phase and BoardPro has served both organisations really well. My experience has been so good, I'm trying to get a third onto the platform. Fingers crossed! I've used two other platforms and BoardPro is definitely my preference. Pros Meeting management and sharing of documents is simple. It's super easy to use - even for novices. My colleagues think similarly and it seems to find a fit even cross very diverse organisations at different maturity stages. Truly intuitive. Cons Sometimes making notes is a bit clunky but I think the clunkiness is more with me than BoardPro and it really hasn't caused too much grief. Review Source KP Ken P. Pros It is efficient and ensure all members to a meeting are informed on changes in the agenda and the meeting pack by a simple click of the publish button. Cons There is nothing that I don't like. Pros The time savings from start to finish. Setting up BoardPro is user friendly and simple. The setting of the agenda is simple. Allocating who is talking to the item is simple. Board Members can look back on previous hui's and docs at their leisure. The task allocations during the hui is amazing along with the follow up reminders. The minutes are taken during the hui which saves a lot of time. The approval of the minutes are seamless. The cost of the app plays for itself with the time savings and accuracy of the minutes. December 10, 2024 5.0 Efficiency plus - As President and a board member I am informed and able to get my reports and photographs added through our GM. It makes for a very efficient well-informed Board meeting, and it cuts out endless sheets of paper copies to wade through that had to be sent out well before the meeting. It is simply awesome!!! Pros The Board pro is excellent for our Board - we are an amateur New Zealand Heartland Rugby Union. The system allows us to easily connect all reports/photographs and deliver them easily before the meeting to all members to read. The system ensures that we have a swift but informed meeting every time. It is incredibly user friendly and very efficient. It allows us to be organized and systematic - ensures we stick to the meeting agenda as it is all set out for us to consider systematically. I love BoardPro’s willingness to develop and share resources and training on many different topics, which we rely on for continuous training of our board members. An easy programme to use with specific functions for governance work. The layout of the menu bar is clear dashboard, meetings/calendar schedule, actions, documents...etc. are all really clear functions helping governance/board meeting support. i really enjoy the easy transfer of info for minute taking, confirming minutes for upcoming meetings and communication with members. it's really easy to use overall Cons To duplicate agenda items into future meetings. For example, I have a scheduled meeting for December and previous agenda items from September I would like to duplicate an item/s for December meeting instead having to re-write it/copy paste etc. I know I can re-create a new meeting and duplicate agenda items that way but it would be great to be able to duplicate specific agenda items AND its content into meetings instead deleting the meeting and starting a new one Also, if there was a way to connect our outlook app to the schedule meeting as an event and inform our members, team. that would be great Review Source AB Andrew B.
