Always interested to discover more of its features Pros We adopted the NFP version in 2025, which was step up from the old school paper shuffle. It has made for a simpler, more efficient flow of information and meeting management. Cons Nothing specifically. The minute taking process is also very good, easy to produce and then easy to confirm in the next meeting pack. Pros Easy to use, easy to load up papers and share information with Board members. Well structured to identify decisions, noting, etc and easy to attach papers. Cons Having to move between agenda and board pack in the checking phase. When I've finished a draft version of the pack being able to download and review the entire pack is not entirely intuitive. March 11, 2026 5.0 I'm now using BoardPro with two of the boards I'm involved with - both are NFPs and BoardPro has been a game changer for both. One is an older more established charity; the other more in a start up phase and BoardPro has served both organisations really well. My experience has been so good, I'm trying to get a third onto the platform. Fingers crossed! I've used two other platforms and BoardPro is definitely my preference. Pros Meeting management and sharing of documents is simple. It's super easy to use - even for novices. My colleagues think similarly and it seems to find a fit even cross very diverse organisations at different maturity stages. Truly intuitive. Cons Sometimes making notes is a bit clunky but I think the clunkiness is more with me than BoardPro and it really hasn't caused too much grief. Review Source NN Narayan N. That is sorted now and I am able to log in directly to each organisation. I also find the built in help topics generally helpful. When I have needed further guidance, I have been able to submit my question and get personalised responses. Pros It is easy to create agendas and upload documents. I also really like the flying minute function and ability to create Board only folders. Cons The search function is generally good - it searches within document titles for the whole site, or for keywords within a particular board pack. However I would also love the master search function to search for keywords within documents. Customer support is available through text. Note that they are an Australian company, so there are some word-spelling differences ("organisation" vs "organization") and their regular business hours are not convenient to Americans, but this is a minor inconvenience and actually something I like about them. Pros BoardPro is the most affordable of all the board portal programs. It is a bit more bare-bones than some other programs, but it fits our needs and does so for a fraction of the cost. It keeps tracks of meeting schedules, agendas, and added documents for review. Our Board members are able to access the information for the meetings, and the system sends them reminder notifications automatically. The program works well for us. Cons It is a bit more bare-bones than other software, so aesthetically there are a few things I would change but they are insignificant. The thing that I like least is that there are a couple of programs that are available for an upcharge that I would like to be included in the basic program. The one that I would most like included at the basic rate is the add on that allows Board members to vote online. July 17, 2025 5.0 The Flying Minute feature has been especially valuable to us in documenting actions taken by the board in between meetings. Minutes can be taken during the meeting directly in Board Pro, then cleaned up later, with draft minutes available for review and comment. All supporting documents are archived and available for review at any time. It is easy to update documents when necessary, and board members will know when a document has changed since the last time they reviewed the board pack. Pros Board Pro allows the management team and officers to properly organize the agenda of each meeting, including supporting documentation, prior to the meeting. The board members can go through the agenda and documents during the meeting on their laptops, saving lots of paper! Actions are clearly documented and archived. I love how a single login gives me access to all, even though my role on each board is different. E-Signatures is so easy! I also love how it doesn't matter what device I'm using - I can easily access everything. My annotations follow me - not my device! And the help team are awesome! So quick to respond. 💖 This is amazing value for money. All the features of the expensive apps, at 10x less in price. Pros BoardPro anticipates what I need before I need it. Our board includes people with a variety of technical expertise. They've all managed to become competent navigating within the system. I'd be very reluctant to move to a different provider. Pros BoardPro is easy to use and more affordable than comparable products. This system has greatly simplified the distribution of monthly board packages. Cons The only real problem we've had was convincing our auditors and examiners that a company based in New Zealand was safe.
