Pros It’s Pretty easy to use to design a building. Allows you to get the correct sizes and shows you clearly how much space you would have. 3D options are pretty good too Cons There is no no mass copy or select an area feature so you cannot drag a whole room away. The 3D option is good but movement is limited. I love RoomSketcher! I really appreciate being able to scale the room, add furniture, and share snapshots, along with clear overhead views. I’m so happy I found it! Pros I found it very easy to learn and navigate on my own. The online help was terrific and let me keep working independently without disrupting my workflow. I was also able to share my design with my client, and they loved the experience. Cons At first, I had to remember to click on the furniture option to see what my room looked like. I understand the concept now, but it was difficult initially to keep in mind that not every selection shows all aspects of the room. The program is very approachable with very little learning curve involved. Added with the ease of scheduling 1:1 training call makes this program a home run! Pros The ease of learning a new program so quickly. The customer support with access to 1:1 video training calls, the in program training videos. The 2D/3D modeling make it very easy to communicate with clients efficiently. Cons The furniture options are very pedestrian. Also, adding a mood board option to the program would be an added benefit. Being able to use actual products for the mood board with color palettes is impactful for clients. If I could add the actual table or chair from Crate and Barrel to a mood board would be preferred. Saved me a great deal of time in trying to verbalize what my plans were for the basement project. I am now working on 2 other jobs to secure them! Pros We signed up for the Pro Account to try to secure a basement renovation, from drawing to the award of the job - it took 3 days - and the client was out of town. They could see our vision through a quick design and we easily paid for the program with this one job. We found no issues with the program and actually found that it was a lot easier to navigate than some of the other programs on the market. I loved the 3D Modelling it offers! Cons The credit charges can add up a little, but I still see value making the benefit outweigh the cost. As a sales tool - the benefit is invaluable.
