Cons Slightly annoying that when a change is made to a kb article in zd, all strings go back to translation (even those that weren't altered). It just adds a few extra clicks though, so nothing critical. Pros Crowdin is very easy to use, it has a seamless integration with GitHub and every change is just pushed to the repository and integrated in the app.Their support is very fast and useful, they are always there to help you through the chat. Cons Sometimes it is difficult to understand how branches work and how translations behave between releases.Actually we stopped using this feature since it produced a lot of problems with our translators. I also like that translators can Up- or Downvote translations when translators provide different ones for the same word in the same language. Cons i think it would be great if you can select the events, on which you want to be notified per email. and not just either not receive email notifications at all or get notified on every single project activity (which can be really frustrating in the case of really big teams and multiple languages). maybe we should be able to sort notifications not only by project but also by language. API, upon release of the site we can just upload files to Crowdin, and fetch the latest translations. Cons The pricing is actually expensive for us. And yet we still have a plan that hasn't existed for years. We have community translators that translates for free. But it's not even a hundred strings per year. January 30, 2018 5.0 All-in-one localization project management platform which can save you lots of money. Pros We tried other localization project management platforms in the past, but Crowdin makes the difference. The best feature is that it tracks repetitive lines of text each time when we submit our files for translation so they don't count for translation points over and over again. This only feature saves us a lot of money. The support is very responsive on Skype and lots of translators available all the time. Pros The machine translations and the search index allows to vastly speed up the translaiton and localization's process.Despite its weakness in regardin the context of the translation, it's fixed by the message sectiona nd the note left by the users. Cons The search engine for the projects it's weak, so it's difficult to fine other projects.Also, the platform it's not proper for translating documents, literary media and captions, which hinders the potential user base and workflow for certain types. One can easily understand its features and resources and get to work right away in a crowdsourcing environment. The context feature provides great assistance in understanding the meaning and the possibility of using a glossary makes it all better and consistent throughout the projects. Cons From my experience, not a lot of projects include glossaries. I don't know if this is a feature that is less advertised or if it is merely the client's choice. Pros I liked that we could see what translations are new/changed. Before we used Crowdin there was no way to know what words are still in need to be translated. Also the integration with version control (Bitbucket) is a big plus to automate things. Cons The setup of the integration is sometimes a bit difficult.
