Crowdin just makes it so easy to translate it. When I have something to translate, I'll get an email to get informed about it. I can see the progress on the Romanian translation, what strings I need to translate and I can save each translation very easily. Pros The UI, the features and the user experience are the best features you can have on Crowdin. I'm sure that if there is a need for translating a software project this will be my number one choice. All this coming from someone who isn't native English speaking (I'm Greek). Pros The ease of use, the suggested translations, the integrated discussion per project, the easy navigation and most of all the lightweight web interface. Just as important, it has the best online translation editor for translators. The problem with most localization platforms these days isn't which formats they support or any other engineering feature -- it's that the online translation part is so slow that your translators don't want to use it. Crowdin is the ONLY platform our translators actually enjoy using. That makes it a win-win. Also the customer support is excellent. Cons This is nitpicky but we run a lot of projects and would like to archive "old" source files without deleting them. Also the way it manages duplicates is not ideal, but we haven't found a platform that does a better job so it's hard to complain. It is helpful for individuals like freelancers, online or offline teams, and small and large businesses. 5. You will find it easy to use with support regarding translation memories, context, glossaries, etc. 6. There is a specific chatting place for communication between business persons and translators. 7. Its minimalistic looks make it easy to use and appear clutter-free. 8. It is really easy to use, intuitive, it has a lot of features to help you work more efficiently in less time and it even includes a small place for comments between colleagues. Simply the best. Pros The feature that I like the most it is the TM. It works perfectly, you can search any word or phrase and the system will check in all projects to find the match. This way you can easily have consistency among your files. You can also leave comments in any string and even tag someone when you need something to be checked. You will receive a notification on your email when getting tagged. The software will also recommend similar translations for each phrase, that makes the translator job easier and faster. And it helps to avoid translating similar phrases into different expressions. Cons The only thing I would change is the 'approved' feature. This is used when someone checks and approves certain string, but it would be great if the check mark could have different colors depending on the user that approves it. It's the best platform for teams of all sizes. In our case, one language was prepared in-house, and the rest are being prepared by volunteers. The online editor helps to coordinate all the efforts and communicate with everyone in the project. API and CI/CD integration helped a lot as we can deliver automated daily builds of the game with current state of translation and therefore QA team is embedded into the process from the very beginning. Pros Fast and simple but powerful online editor, so the team can just focus on translating, proofreading and communication only by using the editor. Very good management of source files - possiblities to API and CI/CD integration, especially useful for big teams. Machine translation integration for engines like Google Translate or DeepL. Intuitive pricing plans. Fast customer support. Cons For some users the online editor was too complex. There could be a new editor mode with very simple UI and only basic features. Crowdin was made by Blend to deliver fast and accusrate translations using artificial intelligence. There were a lot of translators using Crowdin for performance and because of the ease of use. When it comes to fast and accurate translations Crowdin is the best. Cons There are no cons when you use Crowdin.
