### "Almost Perfect "

For out purposes, it is almost perfect.

Pros

When we looked at scheduling software, it had to be fool proof for the user and easy to set up for me, the administrator. The other great feature is to use different forms for different schedule types on the same calendar. For scheduling resources that has different scheduling requirements, it makes it easier to manage with different rules.

Cons

There is no administrator role that can override defined restrictions. If I am on the phone with a client trying to reschedule a meeting, I should be able to override the rules and make the appointment. For example, one of our scheduling rules has a 4 hour minimum scheduling requirement. IF I want to allow someone to come in within two hours, I should be able to make that schedule without editing the scheduling rules, which is what I have to do now.

### "Good UX and Functionality from a Gradually Improving Company"

Overall, it's a product that I am happy with. My clients are also happy with it. It was simple to start and I'm willing to chalk up my sole hiccup in that area to a growing company with a new product. Support has been great, and I would like to see the improvements continue. It's a great UI with a nice dashboard and admin experience, but in the future I'd appreciate a focus on hiding some of the "back end" style features in the booking customization section.

Pros

The simplicity and elegance of administering it is my favorite part about the software. Setting up a form was a breeze, and managing the calendar and appointment system was very self-explanatory. No articles needed. Linking it to my other calendars was comparable to competing products. It also seems to offer a good user experience for my clients, from what they have told me. Regarding the company, customer support is very responsive, helpful, and they appear to be improving the software over time. I also appreciate that they have a robust free trial as it gave me a good understanding of what the product offered and to make sure I enjoyed the company's approach to improvement and support.

Cons

Features wise, I feel like the booking process and customization of it could be a little more flexible. It was easy to set up, sure, but we are in an interesting time where customers and leads might be coming from all sorts of different places with lots of different contact preferences and I'd love to see it reflect that more. Also, it may sound minor, but the fields are given abbreviations in {BRACKETS} and such, whereas a product like Typeform just obscures that more "back end" style stuff. I didn't feel like this choice was particularly helpful in this case. Lastly, once everything is running it's great, but when I initially set up my calendars there were a few things that would show up wrong or get de-synchronized (edits on my dashboard don't show properly on the calendar). Support was very quick to help fix this and get it working again, but I thought I'd mention it as the possible caveat to the rest of the onboarding process being so easy.

Started well, but it is declining over the years.

Pros

Lots of customization options, with white label options to customize the workflows for our client bookings.

Cons

Recently the support is always busy, and they always take days to WEEKS to reply our emails. Just today our integration broke, it's a bug on their side due to a parameter they changed, and there is no urgent help line support, no way to get back to them and support via email is just too slow.

I've been using it for almost a year now and I have no doubt that I will renew one more year. It has helped me a lot automating bookings and emails related to these bookings.

Pros

I like most that it was so easy and nice to work with it. It provides your own website for your customers to make their bookings with you. You can even customize it a little bit, just enough to fit your brand colours but still look clear and easy to use. You can customize the emails that are automatically sent to people who book appointments. A Zoom link is automatically created in case you are organizing a videocall and is also automatically sent to your clients. I love that this app automates so many tedious processes.

Cons

something I do not appreciate is that I cannot sell a number of appointments with a discount, for instance I would like to offer 1 class at X euros and 5 classes offering a discount in price. YouCanBookMe does not offer this option; instead, clients must book (and pay) 5 independent classes with me. That would be a lovely addition to its features.

### "Booking Appointments the Easy Way"

Pros

I really like how YouCanBook.me syncs with my calendar and automatically blocks times that I am not available to book a meeting with a new user. I also like the ease of use for myself and the person completing the booking on my website. The customization is also very nice, so I can have my booking page match my brand.

Cons

Since I pay for the service, I wish I could remove the YouCanBook.me watermark. I am also not a huge fan of how it only syncs with one calendar. I use this for work but I would also like to add my personal events so if I am at an appointment with my kids, my booking shows that time is not available. It is possible, but for $10, just to have the time slots blocked doesn't make sense to me. I have just started to put personal appointments on my work calendar. I would like to keep them separate though.

I love it! Lots of great features- syncs with my Google Calendar, I can accept payments and have separate scheduling for different services.

Cons

I run a monthly Mentoring group that opens mentoring for 1 week out of the month only. It won't accommodate this with multiple mentors schedules.

Overall, it proved an effective tool for the short term but I will not be upgrading to a paid subscription after my free trial ends. Might consider it later on in the future.

Pros

In using the free trial, the flexibility of creating meetings and appointments was nice. Provided lots of options for days and times that made more specific options possible as compared to other platforms I've used. Distribution of the bookings was easy. Nice control features. Easy to connect to your calendars, be they Outlook or Google.

Cons

In my opinion, there is a steeper learning curve in using this platform. Not just because of all of the features, but the overall look is very busy and not very intuitive in my opinion. Some of my students also stated that it was confusing to choose appointments. However, that is all very subjective and is not necessarily a reflection of the platform itself.

Over all we're happy with YCBM. We've had a few issues, most of which were our mistake or an issue with the settings we'd applied. When we've contacted support they were very responsive and helpful.

Pros

Saves us lots of time by allowing people to book meetings with me and my team at a time that suits them.

Cons

Biggest downside is the charging by calendar. I wish I could allow my personal and other calendars (I have several companies) affect my availability with out having to triple my costs. It would be nice to have a 'not available but can shift things' or 'available but only book if there is no other option' type mode. Obs with a better name!

Pros

Easy scheduling, multiple appointment times and descriptors, ability to add pause between appointments, automated email and text reminders, integration of apps. Simple to rebook or reschedule appointments. Ability to have multiple links for one user with different client bases.

Cons

Zoom is on or off. No ability to choose per appointment.

I have enjoyed using YouCanBook.me. I use this service on a daily business when emailing with potential clients; however, I am usually only booking 2-4 appointments per week. Most clients find the booking process to be easy. I hope to add integration to my CRM in the near future.

Pros

Easy to set up multiple calendars for your clients to easily book their appointments while also providing critical information during the booking process I need for the meeting. Integration with my calendar makes sure I do not miss a call.

Cons

It would be nice to have the option for an electronic signature during the booking process. You will be able to find other lower cost options. The cost for text messages is rather steep.

For years I've been requesting the option to show a calendar-view and hide all booked slots. Instead of that, we get a list of open slots. This isn't a con per se. It isn't exactly what I wanted either but close enough.

### "You Can Book Me - Very useful tool"

I would recommend this app. I have looked at some of the others and each has its own little niche they are strong in. This software is strong on appointment setting and calendar management. It sends email reminders and confirmations to make sure everyone will be on time and has saved me more money than it cost.

Pros

I like how much time this app saved me in man hours. It helped us to manage our crews by preventing overbookings and this leveled us off so we were not in a hurry up and wait mode all the time. It also allows out regular accounts to set up their own appointments without having to call in.

Cons

Zoom doesn't integrate as well as you would like. If you need to talk to a group of people in different locations you really have to just sign into Zoom. That gets a little confusing. The cost can be high if you are not careful. Every calendar that is added is another fee.

### "Customers control bookings - Makes my life easy!"

Overall very good indeed. I credit YouCanBook.Me with making my booking system relatively easy for my clients and as a consequence helping to make my business one of the top Driving Schools in the area.

Pros

Easy to set-up with availability dates/times, required info etc. Links directly to my calendar so when a client books, reschedules or cancels a driving lesson the calendar updates very quickly. I also get a pretty much instant alert that my calendar has been updated. Very affordable.

Cons

1) That the timezone is limited to "Pacific- Auckland" - Some clients read this as the place of business. Would much prefer either just "New Zealand" or ideally (but understand how this could be difficult) "Manawatu" being the region, or "Palmerston North", being the city. Alternatively, just the ability to hide the timezone altogether would work. 2) Unless it is "hidden" and I haven't yet found or understood it... the fact that my clients have to make individual bookings and fill in all the required details each time. Would be good for them to be able to enter a simple reference code\* that they can enter on subsequent bookings populating all fields containing contact details, name, phone, email but editable for at least, in my case start venue. May be each field could have the option, originally set by the administrator, to allow the field to be initially populated with previous details but still editable by the client. \*(Reference number to allow pre-population of previous details - Ideally something that could be customised - may be upto 3 /4 letters that remain the same and a 4-5 digit number that increments for each booking, EG REDS0001, REDS0002 etc.)

Fantastic. It's a set it and forget it kind of program. I rarely need to adjust anything on the YCBM site - nearly everything has been manageable via my google calendar.

Pros

This was easy to customize and extremely quick to implement and go live with. While it's not been used as heavily as we expected, having bookable appointments has been an extremely benecifical addition to our service offerings, particularly with all of the remote services we've added.

Cons

It took a bit of digging through the (expansive and well written) help documents for some of the customization we wanted (specifically booking to a single service account, but having multiple team members able to take the appointment without rescheduling/reassigning). I thought this would be simpler, but honestly it wasn't even that bad - just some trial and error between the Zoom integration and YCBM settings.

YouCanBook.me has a brilliant customer support. I have contacted them with many issues (these issues had to do with me not understanding certain features) which were explained to me and solved within a very short time. I have felt very well supported from the start.

Pros

As an administrator of the software, I can vouch that this software is extremely easy to use and it is very easy to set up, and later edit, the necessary features. There are lots of helpful videos and instructions on how to do it, too, and they are very focused, detailed, and easy to understand. However, we wanted a software that is convenient for our customers, too, especially in cases where they are not very comfortable with technology. It has proved to be very accessible and bookings can be made very easily. Visually, the booking page is is both well-designed and clear. An important thing to add - customer support is excellent!

Cons

The feature I miss the most is being able to set up meetings of different durations during the day, in one calendar. I know it is possible if the calendar is divided into sections, but I'd like to see an easy way - being able to have different meetings in one page. However, this is a minor issue.

We looked at several different online booking services and even changed to another one briefly when we were using Office365 (YCBM did not integrate with Office at the time, unsure if they do now or not) and came back to YCBM immediately after deciding to switch back to Google Suites. The online support is very responsive, despite being an ocean away, are friendly and very helpful.

Pros

Before YCBM we were booking appts manually over email of the phone. This software has freed up so much time and allowed clients to easily book appointments for the time that works best of them. I like being able to specify different notification recipients based on booking link, and the ability to have more than 1 booking link per calendar with different menu choices, delays, etc.

Cons

Most of the features work well and are useful. I would like the ability to add padding to only one end of a booking, not both sides, as when all meetings have it on both ends you end up with double padding for all meetings and too much free time that is not bookable. I would also like the ability to customize notifications based on the meeting topic.

integration to Google Suites, administrating the account is much easier with YCBM. With Acuity, you cannot delete or change an appt on your calendar and then it syncs to Acuity, you have to log into the Acuity account and change it there. Very inconvenient.

### "Fantastic service for teachers and professors"

This makes my job immensely easier and is a better platform for my students to use, also. For a laboratory with shared equipment, it ensures that every researcher has time blocked out for their use.

Pros

This offers a LOT of very useful features to organize meetings. My students love the ability to sign up for office hours, know that they have that slot blocked out for them, and get a reminder email the day before. I get much better utilization of my office hours and the student satisfaction has increased. I also use this for advising meetings and to sign up for shared equipment usage. In every case, the service performs flawlessly. I cannot recommend Youcanbook.me highly enough.

Cons

I would like to see a few more themes for the sign up pages and/or the ability to customize a theme. Otherwise, everything is fantastic.

### "The Day My Business Went Professional!"

We jumped onboard at the beginning 10-11 years ago and have never looked back. It's been the best thing I've ever done in my business. Thank you! In two words 'Brilliant and life-changing'

Pros

The user-friendly interface, the ability to integrate onto my website, the aesthetic appeal, the functionality, the seamless integration with calendars like Google and the ease in which one can change, reschedule and cancel appointments without missing a beat.

Cons

Probably the change to the new platform where I can no longer change the button text. I'm not entirely sold on the new interface in the back end. Oh yes, I would appreciate if the calendar profiles on the dashboard were able to be arranged in some order either folders or alphabetical or as they're opened. It was easier the older way. I am under-utilising all the features I'm sure but I certainly get my money's worth with what I do with it.

Very friendly interface, helpful to save time, my favorite feature - time zone converter. I'm happy that the cost is affordable. Thank you a lot!!!

Pros

Most of all I needed the system where my clients can see my availability and have it converted to their time zone. I use it as a calendar that I share. It allows me to save time on planning and communication.

Cons

Even though I put in my schedule exact work hours, at some point it would show that I'm available in the night, which was not right. Support team was unable to help me and identify the error. They were giving me the answers that I already tested myself. However,that glitch got fixed next day on it's own. I have to teach clients how to use the system and what it is for. I prefer to share my Youcanbookme calendar just to view my availability and then I book the clients myself in Google calendar, because it's quicker and I can view the whole week with the appointments right away. I wish it was integrated with Google calendar more.

The best aspect is clients have direct access to the schedule, they can reschedule through a link. Your time is not taken up with scheduling, rescheduling. The clients can pay online, or not. That is up to how you set up the options. As the owner you can setup a lot of different options for clients schedules.

Pros

The flexibility of the software is great. As a business owner you can have different start times for each day, email or text reminders for patients. The software synchs with Stripe for online payment. Buffers can be created for scheduling. This all works with google calendar, so you create your calendar, and link it with youcanbookme.

Cons

The initial set-up can be a bit challenging, there are plenty of online tutorials and online support. Once it is up an running, you dont have to touch it! There have been a couple of occasions where it would be nice to block a client. This would be similar to blocking robocalls on your cell phone.

I couldn't do without as it saves a huge amount of time in call scheduling. I have also had good buy-in from my clients. The reminder, reschedule and cancellation system has reduced the amount of time wasted on non-calls.

Pros

Very good at scheduling across time zones Integrates well with CRM and across devices diaries Nice clean interfaces Easily customizable If needed - responses to customer services

Cons

Working out how best to use it - like any software that can provide complex solutions, it takes time to set it up and work out how best to tailor your business.

Everyone that schedules meetings should use an online booking tool. And if you're going to use an online booking tool, you should use Youcanbook.me. I have used multiple tools that are out on the market and this is hands down the best.

Pros

Works seamlessly with Google Calendar. Notifications and calendar details are all customizable. I love being able to have a separate booking calendar along with the team booking page. Youcanbook.me is an invaluable addition to my workflow. No more emails back-and-forth to schedule meetings

Cons

The only improvement I could suggest is to include a feature where multiple people from different organizations can find a common meeting time like Doodle.

### "Excellent scheduling product"

Pros

We were looking for an alternative to Calendly, and this was it. This solved the problem of allowing multiple bookings in the same time slot, with easy integration into google calendars and at a competitive price.

Cons

It took me a while to figure out the integration and how to set time slots the way we liked. Email support was timely and reachable and the team helped me out quickly.
