August 4, 2026 5.0 I have had a great experience with Zoho Invoice, as I use it for my small business with no issues at all. It has definitely helped keep track of business expenses and invoices. Pros I like the accessibility of the app, and that it is not overcomplicated to use. It is definitely setup for someone who doesn't have experience in this type of application. We have tried other programs that can take client's payments that work with our payment system, but still use zoho invoice so the client's can understand their invoice. Pros Zoho invoice has been my company's invoice system for over 10 years. It is inexpensive, user friendly and our clients find it the best option we have sampled for being detailed Cons The major con currently with zoho invoice is that we have been unable to integrate a payment system and so we are having to use another program just for that purpose. The other system also has an itinerary built into it as well. We have CRM and Invoice integrated but it does not always sync up quickly. It served the purpose to track reciepts but we ended up switching. Pros Pricing was compedative and you were able to use a lot of functions but there was a learning curve if youve never used it before. It really works with several users at the same time, it updates very quickly and managed communication with the clients. Pros I like Zoho because it helps us in the invoicing of our small firm, we can make recurring invoices, charge to clients, and they can make payments through the invoice or portal. Cons What I don’t like so much about Zoho is that it can be very difficult to have a perfect accounting of invoices and revenues. As we divide revenues in three categories, but have almost 60 items. I made this a little easier by making a custom field that says Category and have a help text with the available options. But its still a job to reconciliate monthly. Some invoices that are made from timing instead from an item, are not revealed in this view. Also, invoices made to reimburse expenses made, appears as revenue in the sales report. October 2, 2025 5.0 It was a good experience using the Zoho Invoice product. I've found a nice liking to simplicity of the Zoho products and their Invoice system continues with that. Pros I like the simplicity of using Zoho Invoice. It allows me to quickly put together an invoice for a client without much hassle. In the Free tier, you get a good amount of features that allow you to get the job done. I like the fact it's secure by 2FA for the signing. Cons I found it a little tricky to work out how to set up the payments part, especially if I wasn't using a payment gateway, and wanted to provide transfer details directly. Although after some time looking around, I managed to get it figured out. But it is also easy to set up, incredibly customizable, and endlessly connected. Cons The upload process is very complex due to tax codes, item codes, etc. It is pretty difficult to bulk upload invoice details (at least for me and I am pretty tech savvy). I have ended up just choosing to manually enter invoice data to save time messing with bulk uploads that get nowhere. I have auto invoicing, recording of payments and thank you receipts. Such a blessing because there are fewer human errors, I spend less time invoicing and more time tutoring! I get notified when invoices go out and are paid. Lovely! Pros I like that I was able to set it up myself with little initial knowledge of invoicing software. Cons I don’t like that once you set up a customer, you cannot change the monetary unit they are invoiced in once you have sent one invoice. I wanted to change someone from a yuan to USD but I’d have to delete and re-add them with a new email. That doesn’t work well when you have to ask a client/customer to get a new email just for you. March 12, 2025 5.0 I use Zoho Invoice to create digital invoices for our records. It was a bit of an involved and timely process to get my first invoice set up and designed just right, but once the template was in the system, it is so incredibly easy to use. We have standard items we charge the same amount for every time, but Zoho also allows the ability to enter custom services and charges. I also love the level of customization regarding color scheme, logo, etc. Pros I really like the customization on the invoices. I was able to upload my logo and change the color scheme of the invoice to match the logo, which gives my invoices a much more professional feel. I also like that it's easy to input any sort of custom information on the invoices or have default services that automatically create an invoice. Cons I wish some parts regarding layout and design were a bit more customizable - while there is a lot of freedom to add custom fields, etc, I would love the ability to play with the order of the sections or the layout of the invoice itself. I am hoping that you can manage the changes required. So far the load is acceptable. I don't have more than 24 invoices all year between all three companies. As things are getting better. I hope that ZOHO can improve and make it easier for me to continue with you. I will be reviewing the Poultry system and if you can help me with that I will manage to convince one of our biggest companies in the country to use it. But issues of currency have to be resolved. Otherwise, they have to resort to locally-made software. Pros Simple to prepare the basic in an invoice and free trial for me. I like my 3 small companies in one place and one login. Cons I cannot share the same template and change only the Logo part. I cannot share the same customer with my three clients without having to reenter everything about the Customer. I cannot bill different currencies for the same client in different invoices. I cannot have at least two currencies to work with for each company. I cannot issue reports in different currencies for the same activity. I cannot define the currency exchange rate. No mechanism to deal with economies that have changed like Lebanon, Egypt, and Turkey, and there may be more in the future.
