Being able to test across so many different browsers and devices without maintaining our own lab is worth the investment alone. There are some minor hiccups here and there, but the time it saves us is huge. If you're doing any kind of cross-browser testing, this tool pretty much pays for itself. Definitely recommend giving it a try. Pros The variety of browsers and devices is quite impressive. We can test on pretty much any browser version going back years, plus real iOS and Android devices. This alone saves us from having to maintain a device lab. Starting up a test session is pretty quick, maybe 30-60 seconds to spin up a VM. The screenshot feature is great for quickly checking layouts across multiple browsers at once without manually opening each one. As for integration, connecting it to our existing tools was straightforward enough. Their docs are decent. Cons It can be a bit slow sometimes, especially with the mobile devices. They have the main devices and OS versions that I need. They have a decent dashboard to view test results, recordings and performance information. I'd love if they expanded their API and their MCP server to include device performance information and make it a little easier to get that into a digestible format. Pros I work primarily in native mobile automation which works just as well as you'd expect. What I think goes under the radar is the support which is super helpful and always ready to help. There's been multiple times when I've even suggested features that have been implemented in a matter of days Cons I can't really call this a criticism of browserstack but the Appium system is pretty flawed and unwieldy to work with. Not to mention how some features are only available for some server versions with particular extensions.
