### "Easy to use and really helpful for checking sites across different browsers and devices."

October 6, 2025

5.0

Overall, it’s been a really solid experience. It just works. The platform’s reliable, and it helps us keep our websites looking good and working properly no matter where they’re viewed. It’s become a regular part of our testing process — from early checks to final reviews before launch. Honestly, it just makes life easier for both our designers and developers.

Pros

I really like how simple BrowserStack is to use. The layout just makes sense, and you don’t have to dig around to find what you need. The screenshot feature is a big plus — it saves me a lot of time when I’m documenting or showing issues to the team. What’s great is being able to check sites on different browsers and devices without needing all the hardware. It’s part of our weekly check routine now, and we also use it before and after a site goes live just to make sure everything’s working right. It gives a bit of confidence that nothing’s going to break once it’s live.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a bit slow when switching between browsers or loading a new device, but that’s not really a big deal. Once it’s running, everything’s smooth.

Alternatives considered

[TestMu AI](https://www.capterra.com/p/170732/LambdaTest/)

Reason for choosing BrowserStack

We gave LambdaTest a try but ended up sticking with BrowserStack. It just felt more stable and easier to use. The interface is smoother, and it covers more of the browsers and devices we usually test on. It also runs a bit faster and doesn’t drop connections as often, which honestly saves us a lot of time during testing.

### "BrowserStack Test Management - a strong new player!"

June 13, 2025

5.0

We use the Test Management software from BrowserStack to replace the old standby Testrail. BrowserStack is pretty great and we didn't feel there was much missing compared to more established players. The AI functionality was pretty sensational to come up with test cases and then to help write actual steps. If you haven't used a proper Test Case management software (ones were test cases are test cases and not tickets in JIRA, for example), give BrowserStack a try - there is even a free tier you can use!

Pros

BrowserStack Test Management allows easy formatting of test cases, supporting almost full Markdown formatting. The user interface is very intuitive and moving over from other major Test Management competitors was super easy - the quick import process was pretty much flawless, mapping all the information to the proper fields and keeping the general formatting of test cases and even images within steps.

Cons

The reporting is a bit limited, but the product is still somewhat new, so it should improve with time. We'd like to see a view (or report) showing number of test cases per status so we can figure out where we need to work (too many draft test cases or many test cases needing review, etc.) The plan with AI component to help test case design and writing ends up being a bit expensive.

Alternatives considered

[TestMu AI](https://www.capterra.com/p/170732/LambdaTest/)

Reason for choosing BrowserStack

The UI for Test Case writing and editing was more intuitive in BrowserStack (all in one screen) compared to LambdaTest and the import of existing test cases worked better than in LambdaTest

Switched from

[TestRail](https://www.capterra.com/p/128204/TestRail/)

I've been using Testrail pretty much non-stop since 2016... And I can't really remember any new features since then. They keep introducing new bugs when they do releases (their QA is terrible, which is awful for a product used by QA people). BrowserStack is a fine replacement with AI that already feels more advanced than BrowserStack

### "Boosted Productivity with Easy Automation"

March 29, 2026

5.0

BrowserStack has been a reliable platform for cross-browser and cross-device testing. It has streamlined our QA process by providing instant access to a wide range of environments without the hassle of maintaining hardware. While there are occasional performance hiccups and the cost may be a consideration for smaller teams, the overall value for money, ease of use, and productivity gains make it a strong choice. With responsive customer support and continuous improvements, it remains a key tool in our testing and automation workflow.

Pros

\- Ease of Use: Very intuitive interface, minimal setup required. - Testing & Automation: Wide device/browser coverage with strong automation support (Selenium, Playwright, etc.). - Productivity Improvement: Saves significant time by eliminating the need to maintain physical devices. - Customer Support: Responsive and helpful whenever issues arise. - Value for Money: Considering the breadth of features, the pricing feels justified.

Cons

\- Performance: At times, tests can feel slower compared to local runs. - Test Management: Reporting and analytics could be more advanced for large-scale teams. - Cost: For smaller teams or individual users, pricing may feel slightly high. - Automation: Occasional flakiness in long-running automated tests.

### "Reliable Testing That Actually Helps Ship with Confidence"

March 26, 2026

5.0

Using BrowserStack has been quite positive. It’s become a dependable part of our testing workflow, especially for handling edge cases across different environments without much setup overhead. It’s not perfect, but it does what it promises and helps reduce last-minute surprises in production. Over time, it has improved testing confidence and made releases feel more controlled and predictable.

Pros

What I appreciate most about BrowserStack is the level of control it gives during testing — things like choosing exact OS/browser combinations and quickly reproducing edge-case issues that are otherwise hard to catch. It’s been especially useful when validating fixes on specific environments without delays. The platform feels practical rather than flashy, and it actually helps keep the testing flow uninterrupted. Over time, it’s reduced back-and-forth in QA and helped us ship with more confidence.

Cons

One downside I have noticed is that sessions can feel a bit slow at times, especially when switching between different environments. Also, the pricing can get on the higher side as your usage scales, which might be a concern for smaller teams. Occasionally, debugging through remote sessions isn’t as smooth as local testing, so it takes a bit of adjustment.

### "Reliable Cross-Browser Testing That Fits Seamlessly into Modern Workflows"

March 22, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. It streamlines cross-browser and real-device testing, making it much easier to catch issues early and ship with confidence. The platform fits well into both manual and automated workflows, helping speed up development without adding complexity.

Pros

What stands out most is how effortlessly it handles real-device and cross-browser testing without the usual setup headaches. I can jump straight into testing on actual environments, which makes debugging far more accurate than using emulators. The interface is clean, sessions are stable, and it fits nicely into automated workflows. It’s a solid time-saver, especially when dealing with edge-case bugs across different browsers and devices.

Cons

At times, live sessions can feel slightly delayed, especially under heavier usage. The pricing can add up quickly as you scale, and limits on parallel testing can be a bit restrictive. Also, debugging during live testing could be a bit more flexible.

### "Reliable and Easy-to-Use Accessibility Testing Tool"

November 17, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been very smooth and efficient. The platform is easy to navigate, the accessibility testing features work reliably, and the reports are clear and well-organized. It helped speed up my testing process and gave me confidence that the product met accessibility standards. Overall, it’s a dependable and user-friendly tool for everyday QA work.

Pros

I really liked how easy the platform is to use and how quickly it identifies accessibility issues. The automated checks are reliable, the reports are well-structured, and the wide browser/device coverage makes testing much faster and more accurate. Overall, it saves a lot of time and adds confidence to the testing process.

Cons

There isn’t much to dislike, but some of the accessibility issue descriptions could be more detailed with clearer guidance on how to fix them. Adding more actionable examples would make the results even more helpful.

### "Great product that we could not live without!"

March 29, 2026

4.0

Outside of owning a plethora of real devices, there is no other option better than using BrowserStack. As they layer on better test management and visual regression the tool gets better, although it would be better value for money if not all of these always came at an additional cost.

Pros

BrowserStack's design is intuitive and the product is easy to use. The breadth of real devices available for testing across devices provides valuable automated functional and visual regression testing that is not possible using only developer tools like chrome.

Cons

ApplePay integration on the base tier would be helpful for testing payments. I feel the process of getting network logs could be made a lot simpler.

### "Great Testing Platform with Helpful Events – Thank you! "

August 21, 2025

5.0

My experience with BrowserStack has been very good. It supports all major testing needs including manual and automated testing. The platform is secure, reliable, and gives good value for money. Events like StackTour are a great way to learn and grow in the testing field.

Pros

BrowserStack makes Testing, Test Management, and Automation very smooth and easy. The platform is user-friendly and helps save time with its powerful tools. Customer Connect events like StackTour are very helpful. They allow us to: Connect directly with senior leaders of BrowserStack. See live demos of all their products. Explore the latest AI-driven end-to-end testing solutions. Also, I had shared a real testing experience where there was a requirement to test on Internet Explorer browser due to an outdated JavaScript support. Internet Explorer browser is now not available on windows laptop. BrowserStack came to rescue as there is still support to launch IE in BrowserStack which helped us complete testing.

Cons

The Q&A section during events can be improved. Answers should be more sharp, crisp, and focused. This will help the audience quickly get back to the event and enjoy the rest of the session.

### "Reliable tool for quick cross-browser and real device testing"

March 12, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. As a developer, it has made cross-browser and real device testing much easier and faster. I use it regularly to check UI and functionality across different environments, and it helps catch compatibility issues before deployment. It’s been a reliable tool in my development workflow.

Pros

What I like most about BrowserStack is how easy it makes cross-browser testing. As a developer, being able to quickly test my web apps on different browsers and real devices without setting up physical devices saves a lot of time. The interface is simple, sessions start fast, and it’s really helpful for catching UI issues early in development.

Cons

One thing I like least about BrowserStack is that sometimes the sessions can feel a bit slow, especially when connecting to certain devices or browsers. Also, the pricing can be a little high for smaller teams or individual developers, so it might not fit every budget.

### "BrowserStack simplifies cross‑browser testing with powerful device coverage"

March 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and extremely helpful for validating applications across different browsers and devices. It has streamlined our testing process and reduced dependency on physical devices, allowing teams to focus more on quality and delivery rather than environment setup.

Pros

I really like BrowserStack’s ability to test across multiple real devices and browsers without needing to manage physical hardware. It makes cross‑browser testing significantly easier and faster, especially when validating behavior across different operating systems, screen sizes, and browser versions. This has helped reduce setup time and improved overall testing efficiency.

Cons

Although BrowserStack offers a wide selection of popular devices and browsers, it does not always include older or less common device models. This can make it difficult to test very specific edge cases or legacy device scenarios that some users may still rely on, especially when troubleshooting issues reported by a small subset of users.

### "Good testing tool for single developer teams. (Could be better with Firefox support)"

March 23, 2026

4.0

Good. I don't think I have encountered big issues. Sometimes the stream performance can be better, but I assume is due to not using Chrome, so that's probably on me.

Pros

It has eliminated the need to search for someone with a different device who is willing to let me borrow it for testing the app. For web projects, it has reduced the frequency of UI issues in production by catching them before going live. It's relatively simple to create a new session and use tools like the developer console to see what's going on.

Cons

Extensions are only compatible with Google Chrome. It makes sense. Chromium is the most popular browser platform. However, I would prefer support for other browsers, such as Firefox, so that I can utilize all of the features.

### "Good cross-browser coverage, difficult licensing options"

December 9, 2025

4.0

Tool offers decent value for testing mobile and web apps in different devices and OS. It's not cheap and again some of the licenses are quite difficult to understand, but what you get in return is solid.

Pros

Initial setup was straightforward. Selection of browsers and OS is really broad and covers all major platforms we need. Performance is pretty solid most of the time, and the built in debugging tools are also pretty good as well

Cons

Setting up custom environments or specialized devices (China etc) took a lot of effort. Product naming is very strange and difficult to understand, we had to maintain Excel sheets with different columns for all your products to understand who has access to what.
