Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been quite positive. It has significantly simplified cross-browser and cross-device testing, especially in fast-paced environments. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and integrates well with automation frameworks, making it suitable for both manual testers and automation engineers. While there are minor areas for improvement like performance and pricing, the overall efficiency it brings to the testing process makes it a valuable tool.

Pros

What I liked most about BrowserStack is how easy it makes real device testing without needing to maintain physical devices. The platform is very user-friendly, and setting up tests—whether manual or automated—is quite smooth. From a testing and automation perspective, it supports a wide range of browsers and devices, which is extremely helpful for cross-browser testing. The test management and integrations with tools like CI/CD pipelines also save a lot of time. In terms of value for money, it feels justified because it eliminates infrastructure costs. Also, their customer support is responsive and helpful whenever there are issues or queries.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the speed and performance at times, especially during peak usage—tests can feel slightly slow. Also, from a pricing perspective, it can feel a bit expensive for smaller teams or individual users. While it offers good features, not all teams may fully utilize everything, which impacts perceived value. In terms of test management and reporting, there is room for improvement in making reports more customizable and detailed. Additionally, user research insights or analytics features are somewhat limited compared to specialized tools.

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been quite positive. It significantly reduces the effort required for cross-browser testing and ensures better product quality before release. It’s particularly valuable for teams working on web applications where compatibility across devices is critical. While there are some minor performance and pricing concerns, the reliability and coverage it provides make it a strong choice for QA and development teams.

Pros

BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing extremely easy and reliable. The ability to test on real devices (not emulators) is a huge advantage, especially for catching UI/UX inconsistencies across browsers like Chrome, Safari, and Edge. The platform is intuitive, quick to set up, and integrates well with CI/CD pipelines, which helps streamline testing workflows. Live testing and automation capabilities both work smoothly, saving a lot of time for development and QA teams.

Cons

Pricing can be on the higher side, especially for smaller teams or startups. At times, session speeds can lag slightly depending on the device/browser combination, which affects efficiency during live testing. Also, the UI, while functional, could be improved to make navigation between different tools and features more seamless.

I test in iPhone and iPad devices my customer’s corporate apps, basing on my own written manual test cases.

Pros

I can test with any mobile device without using my personal one. I have a great variety of iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Cons

The limited time of usage, I mean sessions ending at 10 minutes or something. I would find it even more useful if I did not have to care about changing that every time.

my overall experience has been highly positive, this has significantly streamlined our QA by allowing both developers and testers ti quickly validate features across massive matrix of real devices and browsers. while the pricing can feel a bit high, but the confidence to release code faster improves for us. so we take this as positive.

Pros

Value for money is really great - whole the pricing tiers can be steep especially for smaller startups, individual developers or teams needing high concurrent session limit, it generally provides strong value when you factor in the money and tine saved by not having to build, update and maintain a physically inhouse device lab. Browserstack is simply very seamless and ease of use... Platform is highly intuitive with clean, user friendly interface. learning curve is very small.

Cons

I will say cons as pricing structure, the cost scales up quickly as your team grows or if you need to increase your concurrent parallel testing limits. howver considering our reliability with Browserstack i can say this was fine for us.

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been steady and reliable over the years. It has made it much easier to validate builds across different browsers and real devices without extra setup effort. The automation support is useful for regression cycles, and the platform generally fits well into CI workflows. While it’s mainly a tool I use for execution and validation, it has helped improve testing coverage and reduced manual dependency across environments.

Pros

What I appreciate most is the access to a wide range of real devices and OS versions in one place, which makes it much easier to catch edge-case issues that don’t appear locally. The session recordings, logs, and debugging tools are especially useful when trying to quickly identify and fix problems. Over time, it has helped streamline testing and reduced the dependency on maintaining separate device setups. It is value for money product helping reduce the need for maintaining in-house testing infrastructure.

Cons

One thing I’ve found less ideal is that debugging complex issues can sometimes feel limited compared to a fully local setup, especially when you need deeper system-level access. Also, switching between multiple devices in a single workflow isn’t always as smooth as expected, which can slow down longer test sessions.

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. It’s a reliable platform for cross-browser and cross-device testing, especially with its real device cloud, which helps catch issues that emulators might miss. The setup is straightforward, and it integrates well with automation frameworks like Selenium and Cypress, making it easy to scale testing in CI/CD pipelines.

Pros

What I liked most about BrowserStack is its real device cloud—it lets you test on actual mobile devices and browsers instantly without maintaining any infrastructure, which saves a lot of time and gives more reliable results than emulators.

Cons

One drawback of BrowserStack is that it can be \*\*slow or laggy at times\*\*, especially during peak usage, which impacts test execution speed and debugging efficiency.

Overall an excellent tool for testing on a wide variety of real devices and browsers. It's a lot cheaper than going out and buying a load of Android phones, tablets and iPhones etc.

Pros

Great tool for cross-browser testing. We use it for testing on many different types of browsers and devices.

Cons

Can be an expensive subscription if you don't use if often. Some devices take a little while to boot up and occasionally have compression artifacts.

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack is positive. It makes the cross-browser and real-device testing much easier, improved test coverage, and saves time by removing the need to manage our own device lab.

Pros

What we like most about BrowserStack is its real-device cloud and the ease of testing across many browsers and devices without managing hardware ourself.

Cons

Common pain point is that BrowserStack is slow at times Pricing is relatively high compared to other similar cloud providers

The interface is straightforward, and it doesn’t take long for developers. It makes cross-browser and cross-device validation much easier, especially when checking responsive layouts, JavaScript behaviour, and UI consistency. Having access to real devices instead of emulators. Automation support is one of the biggest advantages. Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines reduce execution time significantly

Pros

What I liked most about BrowserStack is how easy it makes cross-browser and cross-device testing. Instead of trying to maintain multiple physical devices or different browser setups locally, everything is available in one place. The access to real devices is especially valuable because it gives me more reliable results than relying on emulators. it can integrates with existing test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, which helps speed up regression testing. Overall, it saves a lot of time, improves testing coverage, and makes debugging compatibility issues much easier.

Cons

Sometimes it becomes tricky to access the sites behind firewall specially when the ip is not static. we have to whitelist the ip everytime it changes

Pretty good, actually! It really helped us make sure our site worked everywhere, which was a huge win for our QA. Yeah, there were those moments where it dragged a bit, but for getting a solid check on compatibility, it totally delivered.

Pros

Honestly, getting to test on, like, every device and browser out there was super cool. No need for a huge pile of phones in the office, and just jumping straight into testing saved us loads of time.

Cons

Sometimes it felt a bit slow, especially when things got busy or if our app was doing a lot. And trying to properly debug stuff could be a bit of a faff – not as smooth as just doing it on your own machine. Plus, it can hit the wallet a bit hard!
