It is incredibly frustrating, time consuming, and inefficient. Pros I am struggling to come up with things that I like. I like that you don't have to log all the way in to clock in/out. I also like that there is a lunch in/out button. I like that it gives you space to put your likes/dislikes/hobbies Cons Incredibly slow load times for all pages, often timing out and requiring logging out and back in; issues with time clock-not set up to handle 24 hr shifts-no flexibility in it at all, often created random missing punches when making edits. Issues with pages loading or showing "no employees;" Does not track accrual of PTO. Will show you the number of hours you have but does not have a running list showing when you accrued the hours. Took months to get incorrect PTO numbers corrected for staff and Admin and still having issues with it not being quite right. Many staff have given up and are just going to take the hit. Holiday pay does not show up on time cards at all-dont know why. Does not notify administrative team about time off requests. Struggles with basic functions and often requires closing out the program entirely and starting over. Not user friendly for admin or staff and not at all attractive to look at. The mobile app is awesome. Employees have a self-service type interface that allows for time-off requests, tax documents, etc. Pros Netchex can do pretty much all things HR: from payroll to annual evaluations and tracking of training and education. It's an excellent solution that doesn't require you to move from one product to another to accomplish your employee management tasks. Cons I don't have any issues/cons with Netchex. This system makes my job harder in every aspect outside of payroll. Everything is the long way around. Let me give you a tiny snip of information to see what I am referring to: all holidays have to be manually added to timecards every time (there is no way to place your holidays in to auto place it for that day based on pay group etc.), no reports that are created can be ran to PDF, and while on reporting, there isn't a feature to search for what you are looking for. You have to click around to find where the item is to add it to your report. There is no feature to request a missed punch, so managers (or me) have to manually enter missed punches. I mean, I could go on for hours about how this system has made my life harder. If I could go back to Paycom, I would run not walk. Pros \-Payroll is not very complicated. -Customer service is great. Cons This system is a payroll system and that alone. Yes, they offer other "features", but know this is one of the most outdated systems I have ever used.
