Pros

It provides straightforward sharing capabilities with our entire team and solid collaboration features.

Cons

we had to reach out to customer service several times during setup, so it's not exactly a plug-and-play solution

solution cloud souveraine et open source permettant le stockage, le partage de fichiers, la collaboration et la communication sécurisée. Il offre une expérience fluide et personnalisable, avec des fonctionnalités comme OnlyOffice, messagerie, visioconférence et synchronisation multi-appareils. Son principal atout est la maîtrise des données, mais son déploiement et sa maintenance nécessitent des compétences techniques.

Cons

moins de choix dans l'intégration native, nécessitent des compétences en auto hébergement. Quelques bugs aussi avec les MAJ.

Overall, the software performs the specific task we needed it for, so have no complaints as a whole. As noted, there are a couple of "nice to have" things, though, that would make it much better.

Pros

We needed the ability to accept files (e.g., a file drop service), and this was easily accomplished with Nextcloud. It was fairly simple to set up and has worked very well.

Cons

I wish integrations like Microsoft 365 authentication were better built in. There is some support, but it's extremely cumbersome. I had it working for a while, and then out of nowhere it just stopped. No clue what happened. I didn't want to risk that in production, so for now, we've disabled that and created separate accounts. I would also like better local encryption options.

Pros

Open source, high level of security and privacy, fully configurable without software restrictions. Great support

Cons

Although Nextcloud is well documented and a big community is providing support, setting up Nextcloud from scratch requires some IT skills and knowledge.

Reasons for choosing Nextcloud

We choose Nextcloud due to Security and Privacy considerations. It is just the best tool available to stay in control of your private and company data.

You phone is important and the data on it is even more important. With some products, it uploads a small amount of information but misses text messages, caller loags, and other critical files. With an 8tb hard drive, expenses from other commercial cloud art era go down keeping your information safe and secure.

Pros

Fast and secured file transfers from phones and cloud server using VPN and SSL options.

Cons

Sometimes you work on app but when an update happens, it isn't available (probably for good reasons).
