### "Not the best site for skilled labor, but great for entry level positions. "

February 9, 2026

3.0

In the end, I was able to find some good candidates for my entry level positions and nursing positions. However, I had to sort through a lot of poor ones to get there. I am hoping that indeed makes changes that benefit the employer in the future, rather than the job seeker.

Pros

I appreciated that the platform laid all the groundwork out for you, each section outlined exactly what was needed, it didn't leave any unanswered questions for the applicants.

Cons

I did not like that applicants that were not qualified, and clearly not qualified, were able to click and apply, which then costs us money. Screening questions were clear and concise yet, unqualified persons were still able to apply. I also wasn't aware in the screening process that candidates were made aware if you categorized them as a yes, maybe or no. That should not be visible to a candidate. Indeed also is a very poor site for obtaining skilled healthcare labor (veterinarians specifically).

### "Streamlining Our Hiring Process"

December 24, 2025

5.0

With Indeed, we can reach a large talent pool with a user-friendly dashboard for posting jobs. This streamlines our hiring process and allows us to focus our time on screening high-quality candidates.

Pros

The best function about Indeed for Employers is being able to post free basic job postings! This is enough to reach a wide, diverse talent pool of candidates.

Cons

Although we are able to reach a high number of candidates, it can be difficult to get in touch with these candidates due to the ease of applying on Indeed.

### "The Career Compass You Didn't Know You Needed"

January 30, 2026

5.0

It has led me to my current career, and I couldn't be happier that I followed through with indeed to help me find my job.

Pros

I think it is a platform that makes it extremely easy to find exactly what you're looking for when searching for possibly a new career.

Cons

I feel it still sends me jobs that I do not fully qualify for. For example, jobs that require a bachelors degree, or an RN license. I don't have either of those, yet jobs get recommended to me that require them.

### "Indeed for Employers in Practice"

March 27, 2026

4.0

Overall, Indeed for Employers is a great platform to post roles and then organize the applicants. The massive reach can be beneficial as well as the flexible pricing. Using in conjunction with other advertising methods is the best way to begin the hiring process.

Pros

While our office is not often hiring, when we are Indeed for Employers is paramount to our process. Posting jobs is overall very quick and easy. The many prompts ensure that we are able to capture not only the role, but our atmosphere correctly. The massive reach helps to ensure that our ad is viewed by many people which is helpful for both entry level and very specific roles. Having applicants ordered by job posting and be able to filter results to ensure only the applicants who would be a good fit are available to view. The flexible pricing is also much appreciated.

Cons

Unfortunately the pricing is both a pro and a con. The flexibility in the pricing is appreciated however those costs do add up quickly. The same can be said for the massive reach; high number of applications generally do not equal suitable candidates.

### "Good for the novice recruiter, frustrating for a pro"

January 24, 2026

4.0

Overall I find that listing open positions is useless I fk t get the candidates I need. I have to pay a lot to be able to search the resume database which is frustrating.

Pros

I like the resume database. It’s really the only thing I find useful. I have to do deep recruiting and reach out to fill my open positions. The resume database lets my search for people anywhere with the experience I am looking for.

Cons

The price keeps going up! And it keeps getting more and more difficult to access what I want. And the resume search doesn’t offer the parameters I need. I’ve been using Indeed for recruiting for 10+ years and the improvements are not improving my experience. I’d prefer the old basic version.

### " A great place to post and manage job openings"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Indeed has been a useful go-to for posting jobs. We get many resumes that are easy to sort, view, print, etc.

Pros

There's a free version. When I've interacted with their support team, they were extremely helpful and pleasant. Indeed is clean to look at. It's surprisingly easy to use, even when it doesn't feel like it would be. It's nice that the users can direct assess you through the portal. We've found some great hires and connections on Indeed. It's easy to manage potential future employees.

Cons

It feels a bit expensive to run actual ads on there. We use the free version sitll with great success

### "Solid (mostly free) platform for recruitment."

December 11, 2025

4.0

Slick and easy to use (once you get to the dashboard) the software is much more stable than it used to be (no more hanging in my experience). Clear settings for jobs and easy to communicate / reach out to applicants. Clear integrations and solid connections with ATS systems; and a quick apply / quick post pull-though.

Pros

Indeed for employers lets you control, edit and publish your adverts for the Indeed platform. As a free tool with paid enhancements, it is great for getting the word out about your roles. In the UK at least, Indeed is the go-to for job seekers and attracts almost 70% of our applicants. The portal is clear and well laid out, allowing ease of use and clear employee management.

Cons

It does tend to boot you over to an advert page or paid promotion, rather than simply logging you into your dashboard. There can be an inconsistency as to where the "Go to Dashboard" button is located! Customer service is different, due to not having account managers - but nonetheless, always know their thing, and are very helpful.

### "Indeed Job Board"

February 1, 2026

4.0

I have obtained several jobs from Indeed. I would recommend Indeed to all my friends and family. I don't use any other job board platform.

Pros

Indeed offers a wide range of job types that I am searching for. Their filters allow me to narrow down job descriptions that match my skills. I love the easy apply feature, which saves me so much time. The platform is very user-friendly and a great way to get my resume in front of potential employers.

Cons

On the downside, the sheer volume of emails from Indeed can be overwhelming and tends to clutter my inbox. Reducing the frequency of these communications would greatly enhance my experience on the platform.

### "Indeed is a great website to utilize when needing help!"

December 28, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with indeed has been great. Whenever I need to post an ad, it's helpful and sends me qualified leads.

Pros

Indeed is super quick and easy to use. That is most important when you need to fill a position quickly. It allows the recruitment process to be quick and narrows down applicants as it lets you add in exactly what your looking for. The access portal makes it easy to find everything in one place.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't like about indeed. The entire process from start to finish is great. Indeed is great for looking for employment and posting for employees.

### "Our Go To Hiring Platform"

February 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have had a good experience with Indeed and we use it often. It is easy, convenient, and brings in a steady flow of applicants. The main downside is the cost and having to sort through unqualified applicants, but it is still one of our main tools for hiring.

Pros

I like that Indeed gives us a wide range of applicants and it is our go to source for hiring. It is easy to use and makes it simple to post jobs and get candidates in front of us quickly. When we need to fill roles fast, Indeed usually comes through.

Cons

The pay per click model gets expensive. A lot of unqualified applicants are able to apply, which ends up being wasted money since we are paying for clicks that do not turn into real candidates.

### "The go to site for employment as a big or small company "

October 15, 2025

5.0

Great and a tool I have used in multiple workplaces to get a good amount of applicants for each role.

Pros

I’ve been using Indeed to recruit for my business, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and makes posting jobs incredibly straightforward. Within a short time of posting, I usually receive a strong pool of applicants, and the built-in tools make it simple to filter, communicate, and track progress. I really appreciate how Indeed gives me access to a wide range of candidates — from entry-level to highly skilled professionals — and the ability to adjust my job postings as needed. The dashboard and messaging features save me a lot of time, and the customer support team has always been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had a question. Overall, Indeed has become my go-to platform for hiring. It’s reliable, efficient, and has made the recruitment process much smoother for my business. Highly recommended for any employer looking for quality hires without the hassle.

Cons

The only minor downside is that I sometimes receive a large number of applications, and not all are a perfect fit for the role. However, I’d much rather have too many candidates than too few, and Indeed’s filtering tools make it easy to manage.

### "Impressed with ease of use"

March 30, 2026

5.0

Satisfied with ease of use. Love the multiple options for contacting prospective interviews and keeping them organized. Indeed makes the resume collection, review, and interview scheduling and follow up process streamlined and easy to manage.

Pros

Tools that make it easy for me to post job details, automate responses and set up interview schedules. I find the program to be reasonably priced, and transparent with fees up front. The customer service team has always responded to any questions promptly.

Cons

The cost, but it's not bad compared to other hiring platforms, and there is a free option if you do not post a lot of job openings.

### "Indeed I like it!"

March 27, 2025

5.0

This is the first company I worked for where we use indeed for hiring but it honestly really expedited the process for me. It was very easy to navigate and we hired 3 applicants within a week of our first posting! Keeping applicants resumes and all conversations in one place makes it easy to refer back to if needed and overall I enjoy using indeed for hiring!

Pros

I like being able to keep all applicants in one place. It helps keep track of candidates and when they applied. Being able to contact the candidates and schedule interviews and have all this stored in one place is very helpful! I also liked the archive listing feature so I don't always have to start from scratch when I'm posting a job listing. Being able to set job requirements also helped weed out a bunch of unqualified applicants and save a bunch of time!

Cons

the daily cost of having your listing up can add up pretty quickly. But on the other hand you can schedule your listing to only be up for a certain amount of time which helps if you forget to remove it yourself!

Overall, the experience has been positive. It’s easy to use and provides strong visibility for job postings, helping roles get filled quickly. However, costs and inconsistent applicant quality can require additional screening and budget management.

Pros

The wide candidate reach and ease of posting jobs, along with quick access to a large and diverse applicant pool, which helps fill roles faster and streamline hiring.

Cons

The cost can add up quickly, especially with sponsored postings, and applicant quality can be inconsistent, requiring extra time to screen unqualified candidates.

### "Great ease of use!"

December 11, 2025

4.0

I really liked this process. It was very simple and easy to use. It def made my life easier. Once everything was in place, it was a very smooth stream of candidate applications.

Pros

The ease of use. Ease of posting and reviewing candidates. And ease of replying to candidates. This was the best feature.

Cons

Sometimes it was a little confusing to separate out candidates easily in hierarchy and per job. Especially, if there were multiple jobs posted. Interview scheduling could be a little clunky.

### "Pretty simple for new employers "

February 22, 2026

Overall, it did what we needed. We were able to list a job and interview several applicants with the end result of finding a great fit

Pros

We have found one of our most valuable employees through Indeed. It’s pretty easy to use for people with no experience and easy to track applicants you like vs automatic no.

Cons

I wish there were better ways to prequalify or making it harder for applicants to apply. We got a lot of applicants who never responded, which is a waste of our time

Pros

Value for money is accurate, but I do feel that it could better for businesses. It isn't very easy to use at times. Also, the different pages can get nuts.

Cons

### "Hiring Quicker and Better with Indeed"

I am definitely pleased with my first experience posting jobs on Indeed! It is seamless, effective, and fun.

Pros

Indeed provides a very easy to use platform for small business seeking to hire employees quickly. It takes minutes to launch a job posting, and I saw a lot of leads off of a free posting!

Cons

I don't always get email notifications that someone applied. I have to check the website manually to get to everyone who applied which can be a hassle sometimes.

### "Quick hires, but lots of sorting and extra cost"

August 7, 2025

4.0

Overall, using Indeed has been a mostly positive experience because it brings in a steady flow of applicants fast and keeps all our hiring tasks, like messaging and interview scheduling, in one place, but the trade-off is sorting through a lot of unqualified resumes and paying extra when we need to boost visibility; even with those drawbacks, it remains our go to platform because it helps us fill positions quicker than any other job board we have tried.

Pros

What I like most about Indeed is how quickly it connects us with a big pool of candidates without a lot of hassle. As soon as we post a job, we start seeing applications roll in, and the built-in screening questions let us filter for basics like license or shift availability right away. Everything from sorting resumes to messaging candidates and setting up interviews—happens in one place, so we can move fast and keep track of every step without bouncing between emails or spreadsheets.

Cons

Even with screening questions turned on, Indeed still fills the inbox with lots of applicants who do not actually meet our requirements, so we end up spending extra time sorting through resumes. Staying visible also means paying for sponsored listings, and those costs climb quickly. On top of that, the location filter is not very precise, so people from far outside our hiring area often apply, adding to the pile we have to sift through.

Pros

### "Job Seeking"

January 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience has always been positive with indeed. As I had mentioned this is how I originally found my job and am still with them but in a different position. This is how many others that I have trained found the field we are in now.

Pros

What I like most about indeed is the ability to seek employment. It was through indeed that I had, originally, found my job with Penn Highlands back in December 2022. I enjoy how I was able to set what I was looking for - full time, shifts I prefer, etc ... Fast forward to current I am still with them but now in a different position.

Cons

What I least like about indeed is the scam post that, sometimes, find there way onto the site. It is very important to be cautious when using this software because some are legit and some are not.
