I can enter my time into my time sheet, review my job history, and look up my paystub history. Cons Sometimes it is difficult to make changes or edit fields in this application. As a user, I was never trained on OneSource and it is hard to complete steps. The row structure is confusing for the time card. Pros There is not much I love about OneSource. It takes my timecard but it is not very intuitive. Cons The buttons and rows do not make sense. It is hard to find my PTO balance other looking at my past paycheck sheets. Our Product is called 'OneSource Software' but it does not do time tracking, payroll, etc and Christ Community Health Services is not one of our customers. Attorney Legal Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Sometimes Complicated" September 17, 2019 4.0 Overall, I do like the returns that OneSource allows me to produce, but it is not easy to use in my opinion, and I seem to be calling for support more often than I should have to in order to figure things out (and, as previously noted, there is not always an answer or a logical fix to the problems I have encountered). The support has always been good though. The people are polite and knowledgeable for the most part, and they do get back to you quickly when you have a problem. Pros I have used OneSource for the preparation of estate tax returns and gift tax returns. It produces a good return for filing and has a great added benefit of a MA estate tax option to create the MA estate tax return after the federal estate tax return is complete. Once you get used to the data entry options and the lingo, it works pretty well. Cons It took me a long time to get used to how to use OneSource effectively for estate and gift tax return preparation. It is not overly user-friendly or intuitive. There have been some issues with the software that I had to call support to help with, and the answers are sometimes an end-run around what the software should be doing (for example, a calculation was not coming out correctly, so I was told that it was impossible to correct it and that I had to make an extra entry to "create" the correct result, which the IRS will scratch their head at when they see it). They have a phenomenal care staff that is prepared to help assuming you stall out. Their client relations staff is well disposed, accommodating and not assertive. Pros The best about this product is the simplicity of uniting different entities for our assessment form. This product empowers us to unite numerous entities into one detailing element precisely. The support team actively look into the matter whenever I reach out. Cons It required me a long investment to become acclimated to how to utilize OneSource successfully for state taxes. It isn't excessively easy to understand or instinctive. There have been a few issues with the product that I needed to call backing to assist with, and the responses are once in a while an end-go around what the product ought to do. Also, the forms are not released as quickly once released by IRS. Pros What I like most about ONESOURCE is how easy it is to file and pay Sales/Use Tax returns. Everything is in one place! Cons What I like least about ONESOURCE is that there are some missing returns and the helpdesk situation is awful. We have had several tickets open for months with no movement. The implementation process was very easy and went smoothly. The software is very intuitive and easy to use and learn. I like the tree layout for the tax structures. Payments are not posted to the right account and we get multiple invoices even if the bill has been paid or credited. Cons The software is complex, so it is really not for small businesses. It also cost quite a bit, so a business really has to compare it to other software tools to make sure it is right for them. " June 28, 2017 4.0 Pros It is intuitive and easy to move around it. I like the tree format where you can expand and close pieces so as to see everything. Statements attached to the return are in an easy to read and follow format. Cons It disconnects after a certain amount of time, even if you are working in the software. Can not produce the type of detailed reports I am used to, even in their Data Query package, which is an add on piece and costs extra money. It does the job of updating when needed to. Cons The program itself feels a little old. There would be many instances where the user login does not work even though I never changed my password.
