We are about two months into the implementation process and it has gone more smoothly than expected. Support training is super helpful in getting the team members up to speed.

Pros

Having the ability to track a project from a an early lead, to an estimate and proposal and through the construction and completion is incredibly helpful to have all the information on one platform.

Cons

The cloud based platform can have some compatibility issues with certain browsers (Microsoft Edge). It can get bogged down in the Redline planroom and takeoff features with really large files.

Overall we are very happy with the product. We are over 1 year in and we are happy with the decision to jump in to ConstructionOnline for our construction management platform. We also appreciate the customer service - which almost always solves issues quickly and keeps us moving.

Pros

The estimating and the change order tools have been very helpful tracking the finances. Before using this application, we had a hard time keeping track of where we were in a project financially - This has been hands down the best part of the platform. Also, having such a transparent tool for change orders and selections has eliminated lost costs which we regularly had from changes getting lost. The tracking of decisions by our client has been super helpful, too.

Cons

We continue to have problems that almost always end up being syncing issues. We were never able to use the platform to communicate internally, which unfortunately requires us to keep other apps for that. But, it is workable.

I have been extremely impressed with everything CO has to offer. I am actually a little overwhelmed with all there is to learn, and we are trying to get it learned very quickly and thoroughly so we utilize everything the program has to offer.

Scheduling, having all documents available at my fingertips, the training and customer support, the ease of time keeping

Cons

Trying to find where things are located. I wish there was a search box so I could search where "insurance" is or I could search a job name or I could search a contact name.

### "ConstructionOnline ...nothing short of a complete failure "

Our journey with ConstructionOnline has been nothing short of a complete failure. Despite investing significant time and resources, we were never able to fully implement our system, yet we were charged the full first-year fee with no offer of even a partial refund. Our onboarding and implementation process spanned 3.5 months as we struggled to align with their system. We encountered a major roadblock in adapting their scheduling/dispatching module causing significant delays and preventing us from progressing to other modules. Their workaround instructed us to rely on static reports, which proved impractical and irrelevant to our workflow. Ultimately, we had to make the difficult decision to abandon our efforts to implement ConstructionOnline. We communicated our decision to the implementation team as well as the Sr leadership in writing and requested a partial credit. Given that the system was never fully implemented, we expected at least a partial credit for the first year's SaaS fee. Instead, there was no response from the leadership at all, and the reply from the salesperson simply stated …” that our account would be deactivated to avoid future charges” ….

Pros

Everything presented in the Sales pitch met with our needs during the original disucussions with the sales team.

Cons

We could never get Scheduling / Dispatching to fit our needs. We simply wanted to be able to see our backlog of projects and to be able to schedule a technician against the open opportunity in real time. Instead, they had us create reports, run the report, and then see the outcome. This was totaly impractical.

One of the best products every used in construction extremely comprehensive for the office and for rapid field production.

Pros

Definitely one of the best comprehensive all in one software for contractors and builders. Exceptional for dealing with complex financial estimating and field operations. Plus, the change order management is amazing, so easy to tracking client can't deny approvals keep money in my pocket!

Cons

Product is amazing yet the field app versus the desktop version has limited functionality yet the app version of ConstructionOnline keeps updating so will just continue to get stronger.

### "Back to UDA for good"

Excellent. I am difficult to please when it comes to how things intergate with my business and established methods. they hafve really thought through how us contractors "tick" good and bad. Their customer service, support and communication are second to none. Without the team helping me, my consultants and employees, this program would be hard to manage. The team has made it easy to grow into more projects and more difficult contracting situations. KUDOS.

Pros

I had been a user for a long time though I had to move to Procore for my company's growth requirements but quickly moved back to UDA when I had the opportunity. I love the integration of estimating with scheduling, project tracking, reporting and financial integration.

Cons

The tiered cost structure is a little difficult to maintain once you become a more proficient user and want to integrate more and more of the functionality with your day to day operations.

Overall experience with Construction Online has been very good. We work with the C/O team very well and they have always been very helpful.

Pros

The online platform makes access easy and enhances team communication and project collaboration. For the suite of products and functionality available, Construction Online is a tremendous value for the money/subscription. This is a well rounded construction management tool that is easy to use for all stakeholders from the construction supervisors and vendors to the subcontractors and customers. The online chat and availability of phone customer support is also a plus. I also like the ability to store pictures, documents, drawings and other design documents. We also like the mobile app.

Cons

We are currently limited to 10 projects a year, and it cost a bit more to expand. In addition sometimes when entering a change order, if you don't save changes, you lose everything and have to start over.

Overall, I think CO has been a real value to our company. We are more streamlined, more efficient and overall more productive. We can follow up on the status of our projects easier. I can see who added and what dates they added into the data base. The Lead data base saves time from entering the same information multiple times on different projects. I really enjoy working with CO and am glad we have it.

Pros

Construction Online has made our communication on projects 1000 times better. We have access on our phones & computers. The Dash board is customizable per user, which is very helpful. All different employees can use this platform and have the information they need at their fingertips. We have really invested the time to make CO user friendly and we are more through in streamlining all tasks, so that each project has the same information, it prompts us to gather the same documents and information per project.

Cons

At times, CO gets bogged down. It can run slow. Refreshing in necessary often. Any time we have had major issues, the tech support listened and tried to solve our issues. They helped us weekly, listening to our struggles or wants and tried to fix our issues or help us achieve better results by figuring out a different way to achieve the same end result.

I think this software is the best bang for your buck! We have demod and used multiple softwares but CO has been the best fit for our processes and team.

Pros

Being able to document daily progress across all our projects and communicate it to the customer. The collaboration and ease of use from bidding/budgeting to submittals and daily logs have grown our team tremendously. The value it adds way exceeds the costs of it.

Cons

I wish the mobile version was more like the desktop. The mobile version works great but it’s almost like learning two different crm softwares when using both.

The customer support is superior. There is never a question that goes unanswered. We truly appreciate the reps at CO.

Cons

I feel like the scheduling in slightly convoluted. It seems overly complicated and the predecessors do not always work.

I have been very happy with the system and especially with the staff in support and knowledge. At every step the team has been able to work with us for training and understanding how to maximize the system.

Pros

This is a complete system that allows for you to take the project from concept to turnover. Nearly every aspect of developing, planning, constructing, and closing out the project is available within ConstructionOnline. It makes management easier when you only need to use one system.

Cons

Bidding Process is not organized for management within the system. Also, Issues to Change Orders are disconnected items and make for a more manual entry than one would expect.

Pros

Ease of navigation through the app. The dashboard is nice to be able to see things at a glance. Ease of use between desktop and mobile.

Cons

Some trouble of clocking into projects correctly. I select a project and click in, the system often reverts back to “general all projects” instead of the selected project

Pros

Even if you're new to construction or project management tools, ConstructionOnline has a pretty intuitive layout. Most users find it easy to navigate after a bit of practice, and the dashboard is clean and organized, making it simple to find what you need. The scheduling feature is a standout. You can create timelines, assign tasks, and track progress easily. It helps ensure projects stay on track and deadlines are met, even with a busy team or multiple projects going on at once.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at first, especially with so many features, but the support team has been really helpful when I had questions. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a great tool to help keep everything organized and running smoothly.

My overall experience has been good, I recently learned how to process change orders, and it works great. Additionally, it is easy to keep track of all job messages, files, and new photos showing the progress of the jobs.

Pros

It is very easy it is to use and keep tract on all our jobs I think it's great and easy to use, smooth experience once you learn the system

Cons

In my opinion, the new UDA construction online interface makes it difficult to find the office forms. I believe I just need to get used to where to find the forms and the new opportunities.

Overall Experience is very good...and I am still learning more of all of the potential functionality of Construction Online. This is a Game Changer...

Pros

ConstructionOnline, has help to organize and streamline the work processes, while providing analytics to help ensure great project management and communication between the Owner, Clients, and sub-contractors. The GamePlan is one of those examples of transparent communication with objective goals.

Cons

I don't think there is a lot in that category. I would recommend potentially allowing group messaging/forum communication based on specific opportunities (especially during the bid/estimate phase). Also another recommendation is the ability to export the overall Gant-chart schedule (overlay of all of the active projects) to help visualize overall timeline to help visual potential time constraints or resource constraints.

Cons

It does take just a little while to learn but the time investment pays for itself immediately! Learning the details of features makes our reporting even more robust.

Excellent. I look forward to learning more about the tool and using it to add additional features to our project managers and job sups.

Pros

The functionality is easy to use and it is very intuitive to use even as someone new at the office but also working with a home builder. It has been easy to search for functionality. I have also learned a lot through the knowledge base on the client selection tool so we can start using as well as the different daily logs like the safety log. The organization is using it minimally now but want to grow our use.

Cons

Right now I haven't experienced any issues with the tool. The chat feature and the online search knowledge base has been great.

The best way I can describe my overall experience is that I am not very good at working all of these construction softwares in the past, but ConstructionOnline makes everything very black and white, and easy to use.

Pros

I love how everything I use is in one place. The organizationfactor is my favorite and then the simplicity of the software is another plus.

Cons

The only issue I find is within redline, where my microsoft pen cannot draw, and pages take forever to load sometimes even on good wifi or service.
