8-10x increase in meetings with qualified prospects with 20% of my town now spent on prospectign and 80% spent in front of customers.

Pros

The tool allows me to focus on selling rather than putting strenuous amounts of effort into old school 'phone book selling methods.' I can create campaigns based on a decent set of assumptions and some basic logic and realize real results within 24-48 hours of the first messages going out.

Cons

I had to deepen my understanding of Sales Operations, Data Management, Reporting, and Direct Response messaging to get repeatable and scalable results. But, it's completely transformed the way I prospect and I know feel like I have an unfair advantage at almost any company I go to in the future.

I have been very satisfied with Outreach using it primarily to track prospects activities and analytics as it pertains to my outreach via e-mail

Pros

Extremely in depth platform for tracking, activity, analytics, and dialer. Platform is easy to navigate and particularly helpful when tracking how/when e-mails are read to plan next steps.

Cons

Integrations with SalesForce, Outlook and Chorus seem a bit wonky. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't which leads to double logging at times.

Pros

Of all of the different software’s and products I’ve used while in the workforce, outreach is my favorite one! It makes my life so much easier and helps me to be super productive every single day! I love it!

Cons

I’m sure there are features that I am on aware of or don’t know how to use, but I hope to get to know what they are because this really is a great product!

Pros

I love being able to easily reach out and call 100 people a day while keeping everything organized. I don't think that I would go to a company that does NOT use outreach or something like outreach as this tool is indispensable to my every day work.

Cons

Learning the product is a challenge at first until you get the hang of it. But after you get it, very easy to mass mail merge and set tasks for yourself

I guess the benefits would be to make more calls/emails in a more streamlined process, but I haven't had the chance to see this yet.

Pros

The idea of outreach.io is cool, but the software is so hard to use. Very convoluted process and it is almost counterproductive how hard this is to use. Customer support team is really responsive though.

Cons

Slows down your workflow because the learning curve is so steep. Really difficult to create your sequences and execute steps.

Its a fantastic addition to our sales tools, and ties in smoothly with our email, salesforce, and tracking needs.

Pros

simple, clean, available, intuitive. Outreach is everywhere I need it and doesn't slow me down or get in my way. It does everything I need it to do and gives visibility to my coworkers to see what they need to see.

Cons

some of the throttling and timing issues were difficult to learn, but that's to be expected with any new software.

Pros

Ease of use. It is a very seamless process to be able to dial prospects and have an email sent out almost immediately after. It is easy to transfer contacts and be able to put them in a sequence immediately. Outreach has saved me so much time and tedious emails.

Cons

Technical difficulties. Outreach has has many technical issues since I have become a user. Whether the software is down or customers have a hard time hearing me, this is my biggest challenge.

Easy to use, great support, and gets the job done. They have a great team that consistently goes above and beyond to help you out when you necessary.

Cons

It would be helpful if the dashboard provided more granularity. For example, what time of day yielded best results? Did length of email correspond to open and response rates? Etc.

Overall it's been a helpful tool for follow-up communication, especially in an onboarding role where, typically, there are a few major stakeholders.

Pros

I like the way this tracks one-to-one communication, and the way it manages multiple touch points like email, phone, and other tasks.

Cons

I did not like what happened when I tried to use it at scale. When I tried to send a sequence to any substantial quantity of people, it did NOT go well.

I am mostly benefiting from outreach. The site is really easy to navigate. I did, however, encounter a mailbox issue. This issue resulted in me losing track of prospects that I had worked on for over 4 months and this was devastating. Time is the most valuable asset and that is what it had cost me. A week of time to try to recover my progress with 0 help from support.

Pros

Ease of sequencing prospects and friendly interface.

Cons

Customer support is terrible. It is remarkable that an issue can only be sorted out via email.

I don't like the way prospects are paused when an automatic email comes in. I would rather do this manually because the sequence is often resumed at a late date.

Pros

I liked the fact that you can create an email campaign and send it out to over 100 people at once and it has a variable function to where it replaces the email and some words to personalize the campaign to each email user.

Cons

It may be a bit complex for someone who isn't used to software as much.

Pros

I use outreach almost everyday. I love how easy to use it is. The UI is extremely simple, only took me a few minutes or so do figure out how to make calls, set sequences, etc.

Cons

I wish there was a mobile app so I can access Outreach via my mobile. There have been numerous times I was out and receiving a call. I would like to know if someone was calling my Outreach number or my mobile number.

I use this software all day and it does a great job at keeping me on track and letting me know if I've reached out to my prospects enough. The interface is simple and easy to use.

Cons

I use grammarly to help ensure that my email are grammatically correct. However, there are some interface and input issues when using grammarly that can be frustrating.

I love the sequence function. I can put a prospect into a sequence and forget about them and try to get phone touches while email touches are happening in the background.

Cons

It is kind of hard to get the hang of. I wish there were videos that showed how to preform certain functions.

Outreach provides great functionality building task, emails and rules around comms with your clients/partners. In addition, tracking stats are provided so you get many insights out of it.

Cons

Not so easy to use at first. You need to become familiar with many different definitions. Also, not so easy to configure settings for different campaigns.

Pros

Allowed us to do lots of emails, which is important. The lack of analytics offered was limiting though

Cons

Customer support is non-existent. We needed to cancel after migrating to a better product, and it was a nightmare.

Pros

I really love the ease of sending out mass emails through this software and tracking responses and automating the sequence. It's ideal for Business Developments and reaching out to a large amount of people at once while making sure they are being followed up with accordingly. The automated sequences are easy to set up and schedule.

Cons

Sometimes it's a bit difficult to identify an issue when an email sequence isn't working accordingly, but customer service is always quick in helping resolve the problem so you can resume work.
