Pros

Outreach has an incredible product and excellent customer success team. We have been working with Outreach for the last 2 years, and will likely continue for many more. Almost our entire company uses Outreach on a daily basis, and it's UX is excellent. Their product team is consistently working to expand features that customers want.

Cons

In order to keep things simple, Outreach has limited flexibility with reporting. To get the data we need, we export all our data into another analytics platform. That said, we use Outreach on such a large scale that this likely wouldn't be a problem for most sales teams.

Pros

Easy template setup, lots of custom tags, easy to implement into Salesforce and other CRMs, mailboxes, etc.

Cons

The UI/UX is a little clunky. CS team is very hands-off. It took almost 8 weeks to get setup on Outreach.

Outreach cut down significantly on the amount of emails we sent manually after taking the investment to get it integrated with our tools.

Pros

Outreach has really powerful automation "sequences" for sending emails out to leads. It also includes powerful custom fields.

Cons

Their API has a lot of overhead and oddities, making it difficult to get up and running with a custom integration. No HTML signatures

We use Outreach to send prospecting emails, track performance and engagement and get fairly good results using the software.

Pros

You can easily add/share sequences to add people to. They have tasks for email, phone calls or LinkedIn tasks.

Cons

Sometimes it shuts down or gets really slow which is hard because we rely on it so heavily. I also don't know if using Outreach affects our deliverability.

Outreach is an amazing analytics tool that accelerates your sales cycle to the next level.

Pros

Outreach has seamless integration with Salesforce. No longer need to manually import contacts from your salesforce to your sales management platform. The analytical capacity of the product is amazing. It enables leaders to manage teams and improve sales engagement.

Cons

The reporting capabilities of the software can be more flexible. There are just the classic reporting options available at the moment and the rest needs to be managed by tags.

Positive experience. Great for drip campaigns and easy to upload leads direct from Salesforce or excel.

Pros

Great interface, easy to use, and functional - many integrations to allow for data sharing which is great for a sales professional.

Cons

Accuracy of the email tracking may be a bit off... But, that is with any software. If there was some more accuracy to this, it would be great.

Pros

DO the job in connection with SFDC to import contacts. Good option for settings and the dashboard is clear.

Cons

Need more features to make more personal messages as picture & video (make integration directly inside of both with variables) if you compare with some competitors.

Pros

The sales team finds this platform easy to use with an attractive UX. Having worked with several other similar platforms, Outreach is by far the most advanced and user friendly at this time.

Cons

There are some limitations as it relates to being enterprise ready with very large sales teams, but the team has troubleshooted these decently over the years and is always open to feedback.

It allows me to get a high level overview of where I need to prospect as well as granular insights into the best place to spend my time.

Pros

This tool is great for streamlining the workflow of outbound prospecting. Our company uses it for our sales development efforts, and since replacing Salesloft has made sales automation easier for our reps. The software in very customizable, so there is a learning curve associated with getting up to speed on it.

Cons

Complexity can create a longer learning curve compared to other sales automation tools. This ultimately is good once you learn the system.

I couldn't recommend it more. I hope to use Outreach for a long time from here on out, going back to prospecting without the tool would be painful at best, and next to impossible at worst.

Pros

This software integrating seamlessly with SalesForce makes everything about selling so much easier. I spend 95% of my time in Outreach and yet everything gets updated in SalesForce, and is organized appropriately. I have a daily task list that populates automatically, filled with relevant tasks that are meaningful to complete. It is truly the best tool I've used in a sales stack.

Cons

The software is very intuitive, but it does take some getting used to. There is a depth of power you have access to, and it will take a bit of time to get accustomed to the layout.

I love how Outreach fits seamlessly into my workflow as an Outbound rep. Setting up triggers around email opens / clicks has been a huge value add. The customization is fantastic as well.

Cons

It's a little overwhelming at first. There is a lot to the software and it can sometimes be hard as a new user to know where to start.

Pros

I really like the dialer option that Outreach has. Very easy. Good call quality. works wirelessly and right through the computer or can route to a mobile phone.

Cons

I don't like that they try to replace sales force for prospecting. I wish they had a native plug in to sales force so that everything was in the same window. Call tasks also don't show the notes of the call without clicking in, which makes it alot of extra clicks. Last thing is outreach doesn't recognize opportunities in Salesforce so you have to find the contact in open opportunities in order to log a call or email through the side panel. kind of clunky in its use but it looks great on the outside.

Pros

I love the ease of use to the system. There are some cool bells and whistles, but really it does what it needs too, makes it simple, and puts the flashy stuff on reporting. (the "so what")

Cons

The only thing I could see as a downfall is the search-ability. I wish that the search could include more filters so that you could easily sift down a group of prospects to send too.

Pros

Outreach provides a way to engage easier with prospects and leads in addition to automating sales and marketing tasks that were time consuming.

Cons

In managing multiple users, it isn't as easy to divide tasks between a group as it is to run individual tasks and automations.

For any sales team, an automation tool, that covers all aspects of the sales process, from calls to email, is very key. With Outreach, the sales team will have this ability, which will help automate calls and emails in one dashboard view.

Pros

\- Value for the cost of the solution - Short Implementation - Easy to set up sequences - Dashboard view, from a end user and manager perspective - Real time data, from an end user and manager perspective - Seamless integration with SFDC

Cons

\- No integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM - Cannot do a sequence at the opportunity level

Overall, I was able to reach out to more people and follow-up without thinking due to the automated features but when you have a large sales team it created a variety of issues in our CRM and by causing duplicate messages to the customer

Pros

I love the sequencing feature and the ability to setup automated emails, calls and social media connections all in one place.

Cons

If you have it connect to a CRM it hard to manage contacts and leads in your CRM and again in Outreach. It creates duplicated messages to your customer and can degrade the data in your CRM. I personally did not like having to manage contacts in two separate places CRM and Outreach. I t may have been how our company used it but never the less we still had these issues using it.

Outreach it's a great outbound machine. If you can afford the price, you will be comfortable crafting and sending cadences. Once you break into you will love it.

Pros

It integrates seamlessly with other CRM's. It's easy to track your cadences and follow its effectiveness. Easy management of your leads and their status, avoid double reaching or including the same leads in two cadences simultaneously—lots of open resources to help you improve your tasks.

Cons

The UX could be better. It takes some time to master the use. Especially when uploading CSV. files and managing leads.

Acts as a personal checklist and hold you accountable to touch each of your prospects as often as necessary through the sales cycle.

Cons

The sequence feature can be tough to nail down--takes a good amount of training. I also wish there was a feature to merge contacts that have the same email address.

Great product! Highly recommended for growing startups that want to get the most out of their sales reps.

Pros

I love how easy it is to create, edit, and share templates and snippets with coworkers. Plus, the filter options on which tasks I need to complete. I usually start my activities by completing all of my calls, then LinkedIn touches, and then emails. Outreach keeps me super organize.

Cons

Outreach has a lot of functionalities, which is great but can be over overwhelming for sales reps who have little to none experience using a tool like this.

The biggest positive while using Outreach is having the ability to view email open rates and click rates directly from my Gmail email service. This allowed for a more streamlined process and a time saver when targetting prospects in real-time who are interacting with my sales content outreach. Outreach is an easy to use platform built to meet the needs of all sales teams.

Cons

Overall, I was satisfied with the product functionality of Outreach. My organization switched to a competitor service due to price cuts.

Outreach helped all the reps keep on top of their inbox and their contacts. It ensured we were processing every new lead and account to the fullest extent we could. Although there were improvements that could have been made, outreach did the job well.

Pros

I loved how outreach was so accessible and intuitive to use. The integrations with our email servers made access to anyone’s outreach really easy to manage.

Cons

Although it was easy to use, it did take some time to learn the process. I also wish outreach had a more open API to our staff developers.

Automated our response to leads. This used to be really tedious for us. It also allowed us to have a more consistent lead response process in general between emails and calls.

Pros

Ease of use. Used in conjunction with salesforce, it was really easy to set up sequences. It made it really easy for me to enforce consistent processes around our sales follow-ups.

Cons

Not much! One small thing was with custom fields in Salesforce being sync'ed up with outreach. We used some custom fields that, when imported into Outreach, showed up as something like "Field 1" and "Field 2". That made it challenging to understand what prospect you were looking at.

It has been helpful in mass follow up and in individual one-off emails. We are still workign towards getting a wider range of content in OR but hope to have more of an outbound program in the future.

Pros

The organizational aspect. Easy to use and customize to keep sales teams on point and working towards driving revenue.

Cons

That my manager does not fully understand its capabilities.
