Pros

Outreach provides great functionality building task, emails and rules around comms with your clients/partners. In addition, tracking stats are provided so you get many insights out of it.

Cons

Not so easy to use at first. You need to become familiar with many different definitions. Also, not so easy to configure settings for different campaigns.

Fine. Would recommend other options if you can afford.

Pros

Allowed us to do lots of emails, which is important. The lack of analytics offered was limiting though

Cons

Customer support is non-existent. We needed to cancel after migrating to a better product, and it was a nightmare.

Pros

I really love the ease of sending out mass emails through this software and tracking responses and automating the sequence. It's ideal for Business Developments and reaching out to a large amount of people at once while making sure they are being followed up with accordingly. The automated sequences are easy to set up and schedule.

Cons

Sometimes it's a bit difficult to identify an issue when an email sequence isn't working accordingly, but customer service is always quick in helping resolve the problem so you can resume work.

A great tool!

Pros

Easy to use software. Outreach cues up all my calls and emails for the day - making productivity increase and my day easier. Previously I would have to go to my CRM and open up multiple tabs, set tasks on contacts and call/email one by one, ill never go back to that!

Cons

Crashes occasionally and makes you reset because there is an update - slightly annoying.

I am new at sales and Outreach has definitely had a positive impact on my on-boarding experience. I honestly don't know how else I would keep organized with all of the calls/emails I had to do on a daily basis.

Pros

I love the ability to set up your tasks without having to think about anything. Its hard to keep track of what needs to be done when you are contacting 5-10 individuals per company, 10+ companies a day. The task feature allows me to keep track of who I am talking to, when I last talked to them, etc.

Cons

The thing that has been tough to figure out is many times when I am adding contacts to an account on Salesforce, outreach will not refresh and link those contacts. No matter how many times I try to refresh the page, the prospects will not show up.

Pros

Ability to make outreach sequences and templates to make the sales prospecting process easier for my team.

Cons

None. Overall, I have been very happy implementing outreach for the sales team at my company. There are plenty of tutorials to make this easier.

As an SDR, outreach is the tool I use more than any other. Efficiency is the biggest value add to me, but reporting and being able to build custom views is something that would add even more value.

Reports functionality leaves something to be desired Importing CSV files for mass emails/sequences can be glitchy

Easy to understand and create multi step prospecting campaigns. Easy to link email and phone into SDR campaigns.

Cons

Outreach does what it needs to. There is a lot of software in this space that overall does the same thing.

Overall, I had a good experience with Outreach and would recommend it.

Pros

The call logging and task creation worked well.

Cons

I didn't like the email set up and the contact list wasn't always the best. My manager would send me contacts and it would mess up my whole operation. Also, hubspot is better for cycling through your calling list.

My experience with the tool overall has been top-notch, I attribute a fair amount of that to the Outreach support team - they are exceptional. Response time is fast and they hop on calls when it's necessary to quickly troubleshoot what I'm trying to accomplish and how to get it done. I use Outreach for all of my inbound and outbound outreach to prospects.

Pros

The templating and sequencing features allow for significant automation. It lets us focus on the really important, customized outreach the job requires instead of getting bogged down in the minutia.

Cons

Every once and awhile something will break for an hour or two. We've gotten to the point where we rely on it so much if anything goes wrong, huge issues ensue.

It helps me to enjoy my time off as my 'email campaign' is still working hard for me. Outreach email campaign is game changer and best-kept sales secret.

Pros

User-friendly. I love the fact that Outreach has clone button where it saves me tonnes of time from re-creating a template.

Cons

I would prefer that Outreach has a folder system where I can store different templates neatly in different folders.

Pros

Ease of use - having Outreach to manage my tasks is a real time saver. The fact that they are also able to tie in features like being able to see all the account info in one place, seeing when people open your emails, etc is awesome too because I don't have to keep switching between outreach and my crm.

Cons

1 feature I wish it offered for the Account Based sales orgs would be the option to notify us when an entire account has finished all sequences, as opposed to when a sole contact has finished.

I'm in Sales, I use outreach to place cold prospects on a nurture campaign.

Pros

It's easy to set up sequences and to track your emails, which is very important.

Cons

The tasks area is convoluted, it's hard to remove a sequence as well and sometimes tasks get duplicated which is frustrating.

I like how it ties everything into SalesForce. I like the cadences as well and made it easy for sales to know the next steps on the software.

Cons

There was a small disconnect by what their presales sales team promised and what they could actually deliver.

Pros

UI is great. Everything is sleek and easy to use. Tiles are easy to customize and users can create their own personal layout that fits their needs.

Cons

Performing some actions in extremely large quantities can be a hassle, but not too bad. If I could display 500 or more prospects on one bulk import page, that would be a nice function.

Pros

The sequences. Clients are able to request a demo at 2 am and receive an automated email at 2:01. Very personable feel and touch to the emails.

Cons

Hard to set up the sequences within salesforce and tag the correct one. That requires a technical resource but other than that most of it has been very intuitive and easy to implement.

Pros

I'm an administrator of this tool and find the setup very easy. Integration into salesforce was a crucial feature and quite easy to setup. Creating sequences is straightforward and the triggers are easy to configure and help make the tool more robust and powerful.

Cons

Easy to let the number of sequences get out of control and clutter the instance. Triggers could have a bit more functionality to allow for further customizations.

The best part about Outreach.io is the easy to use on and off functionality of the toggles to turn a campaign on or off and easily opt out a prospect.

Cons

There should be a way to throttle by company to prevent emails from being flagged by mail servers, not just entire sequences.
