Pros Egnyte is a smooth cloud storage based software that is fast for uploading and downloading documents, large and small. Integrates easily with other software to allows saving and opening documents within Egnyte cloud simple. The permission levels of the software allows for simple organizing of employee access to certain folder levels and documents. Cons Some of the fancier software does not open within Egnyte, but this is similar to other cloud based software. Such as AutoCad and other more powerful programs don't open. I can work seamlessly from any device and easily collaborate with my team. The sharing options for people outside our team are robust. Pros Egnyte's sharing options make it easy for our team to collaborate and keep private files private. We can all work seamlessly across devices. Cons As the only Mac user on my team, I do find some issues with the integration (app seems to fall outof date). This is by the far one of the most expensive cloud storage solution and the customer service was poor. Pros The granular permissions of folders was helpful. Cons Very restrictive features. Limited access to API. A unknown limit on sharing files and folders - if you share a folder, every time a user access it - this use goes against a limit (that you cannot monitor). This caused issues during project delivery times when our partners were not able to download important files and we had to wait till the next billing cycle. Allows us to swiftly respond to client requests by gaining access to relevant files and information, sparing them the inconvenience of having to come back to the office. When the consumer has a quick question or request that needs a quick response, this is quite useful. It allows us to combine our resources regardless of our location or the device we're utilizing. Quickly integrates with any other business app and is compatible with them all. Being familiar with the product saves time and effort during change management, implementation, and training. Pros The fact that so many individuals utilize Egnyte is something I really like. Sending and receiving papers with other people and organizations is a breeze. I won't have to worry about your home screens or device memory being full when I save and retrieve data. The data is stored in a safe environment, and only those I give permission to can access the papers I provide them. It is fantastic to have all my information in one place and accessible from any device, anytime. Cons Avoid inconsistencies and conflicts by never editing the same file in two places at the same time when sharing it. This is where we store all of our updated information that everyone on the team has access to. The thing that I like most about Egnyte, is the sense of security it offers. I take comfort in the fact that all of our company information is in a safe place that only team members can access. Cons I think one thing Egnyte can work on, is the navigation between different folders. It would be convenient if there was a way to switch over quickly to a new folder, without having to navigate to the home screen. Other than that I have no issues, Egnyte is a great tool for our company.
