Single sign-on does not work at all. Choosing single sign-on integration requires an additional fee, but it is completely unreliable and support for the feature is terrible. Absolutely not worth the additional cost. Pros A pre-built forum that functions almost as well as other online forum tools. It seems to possess functionality most users expect in an online forum. Cons Their application support team, and support process, is terrible. Availability is inconsistent and anything beyond basic troubleshooting is handed off to a support person in India. Issue resolution is unstructured and takes too long. No support over the weekend. Because support is based in India, it will always take at least a full day before receiving a response in a best-case scenario. Amazing technical team. The most thorough FAQ help documentation I have seen with 500-1000 customisability DYI FAQ's. If you want forums on your site, its WebsiteTool Box or nothing in my view. I never leave reviews, take this one seriously! Pros Easy to use. Easy to implement into my website. It simply works. When you want something changed, support is there instantly to chat and fixes are implemented within 60-90 minutes in my experience. Setting an unbelievable standard. I never leave reviews, so take this one seriously! Cons 90% of features are as needed, with a large degree of customisability. Especially when we considered the cost of DevOps running our own / hosting our own forums (which we did prior to moving to WebsiteToolbox). They make it so easy, and their servers are always up. We are pleased with the support, and the fact that every time we contact them we get a human on the other end who knows what they are talking about. They have knowledgable staff, kind and considerate. We would highly recommend their solution to any company wanting to have forums (internal or external) Pros We like the ease of setup and the fact that the forums can be embedded on your own website. We don't use the embed feature (we have in the past with great success). We love the technical support. They are always ready to answer questions. We really love the fact that this seems to be one of a few SaaS vendors that offers Premium Feature Request Estimates and build outs. I really wish other SaaS vendors had this. For this one reason alone - we are pleased with the customizations they've provided. Cons Can be a bit difficult to adjust the CSS and layout of the categories page to just the way we wanted it. We needed custom JavaScript to embed our Vimeo Help Videos (cutting down on our help-desk tickets). The advanced search could be improved just a bit, and they need a few more features around moderation. It made what seemed like it would be a daunting task so easy. Along with alll the integrations offered, WT is full of features I feel like I need to explore more, but it already works so well! I like the control you have over these features, the forum itself, and the backend. My users are also very happy too! I don't think I could have created a better forum with something else, but I haven't explored other options - too happy with this. =) Pros All the features and the control of them, all the integrations available, social/one log in for users, overall usability for users (like how it brings you back to where you left off in a thread), monetization opportunities. Cons Not much - I guess admin panel is a bit clunky, could be a bit more aesthetically pleasing. General set up is easy; cost is ok - depending on your needs there are tiers to chose from; available flexibility to set up your company theme, to match your website look or company logo/image Pros The ability to set up Topics and Categories for various communication categories is key to us, for its use. The flexibility provided in setting up these various groups allows us to address all areas of communication within the agency, by department, division, topic, area or project. The easy 'chat format', is similar to email and thus a comfortable layout for all to communicate in Cons not being able to maintain contacts that have not been active for a longer time period; losing those contracts does not allow us to then communicate with all in the agency via an email blast/main message; also, it is hard to upkeep the database of 'active members' as there is not 'unsubscribe feature' for members.
