Pros

The software interface is easy to use, which is especially important with speakers who have never used the software before. Also their support is great - quick to respond and helpful.

Cons

Upgrades and changes are not adiquitly communicated with current customers.

Our company began a contract with ON24 after meeting with several competing vendors. Ultimately ON24s capabilities were our favorite - and we often have ~500 or more people viewing and calling in with live questions.

Pros

Our team loves the Simulive feature - it is so great not being limited to strictly a live only recording. Being able to re-record as needed is great.

Cons

We struggle trying to edit a past webinar, i.e., shorten it, delete slides, etc. Sometimes we want to cut half of a slide out, and struggle with this editing part.

Reason for choosing ON24

The main reason was the capability to reach hundreds of people, many competitors had a much smaller cap.

Overall ON24 works with what we've been doing so far. I don't believe we work directly with ON24, we work with TSN who works with ON24 who in part works with us as our Vendor.

Pros

The ability to have 2 platforms to host and support our Webinars/Webcasts as well as Library for our In person events we have stored

Cons

Not being able to toggle between the two platforms. I feel like we are on one platform with 2 users IDs so that we can actually use the features of one and the other is just a storage base - they should be integrated

### "Smooth Sailing with On24 Webinars "

One of our key goals with thought leadership is creating an audience network that builds mind-share, over market share. ON24 webinars has been instrumental in achieving this. As an organization, we've increased our yearly share of webinars and now use 3 webinars per quarter. All our stakeholders who've used ON24 are very happy with the output and its ease of use.

Pros

ON24 has been our primary webinar hosting software for over 3 years. The Pros we've had with using this software include: - customizing the webinar registration page with brand elements - round the clock tech support - audience engagement score - customizable audience console

Cons

We like all of what ON24 offers, but there are some additional features we'd like to see in the future: - integration with CRMs - allowing files larger than 2GB to be uploaded in the Presenter Media section - allowing surveys after a webinar recording ends

So far it has been pretty good. Other than some of the things I outlined like being able to have a more interactive webinar that is podcast style. The platform is easy to navigate and creating things are very easy.

Pros

I like the ease of setting up webinars. Super quick and easy. Especially the duplication of past webinars.

Cons

I wish that It was a bit more robust as a podcast would be. I would love to have Multicam functionality with hosts and attendees and the ability to easily have audio for both hosts and attendees.

We've seen an increase with attendees and on demand attendees since moving onto On24. We're able to provide our users with more insights than we have been able to do previously, and our community are now more engaged than ever before in our webcasts.

Pros

Ease of use, always being updated with new features, listens to the community and introduces new features/products or services based on what we need.

Cons

Costly compared to others platforms in this area, have had a few issues with on demand version not downloading, but has been quickly resolved so not a huge deal.

Overall, the experience has been very good. The support is excellent, the product is easy to use and has a lot of fantastic features, that have been lacking in other pies of software.

Pros

Ease of use, many great features to help engage with the audience.

Cons

Sometimes the quality can be lacking in the video, this could be a problem on our end. I would also say that the delay between the speaker and the audience can be a little frustrating at times.

Pros

I'm been using ON24 for over 4 years now and I find the program to be very easy to use and beneficial to our organization. The reporting is something we admire and benefit from and our clients appreciate the fact that we can monitor who joins, for how long, ask questions etc. I'm also happy that ON24 can be incorporated into Act-On.

Cons

There always seems to be an issue with the console builder. I'm constantly asking support to fix my background colours.

Higher quality than other options tried

Pros

The platform is regularly updated and offers a lot of features not available with other options. Especially good for larger virtual events with more than 100 attendees. Great customer service. Good thought leadership events.

Cons

Some trouble with audio quality - though that's pretty rare and bound to happen. Customer support team is assigned at random, so a little inconsistency there.

It's been great, I just wish I could double the size of my team becuase with a very small webinar team, I feel like we are only scratching the surface.

Pros

ON24 has countless features, options for customization, branding, tracking, CRM integration, content gateway, great audience experience, etc. we could go on and on!

Cons

the more robust the software, the more can go wrong. If the webinars are not set up perfectly, the webinar will not run smoothly. You can not make changes on the fly (if you set the webinar up with no screenshare, you cannot change your mind on the live webinar) if you need to change the console, you cannot do so when the webinar starts, etc. No dial-in number as a standard offering for webinars We also wish that ON24 could be used for demos and 1-on-1 calls but the audience lag doesn't allow for that.

Pros

The On24 platform allows webinars to be more than just slides and a voice. I like all the different widgets that promote audience engagement. Their annual user conference, Webinar World, was a blast and great for an intermediate user like me.

Cons

There isn't an option for dial-in/phone audio without a costly phone bridge from my understanding. We often hear from attendees that they couldn't watch live since they didn't have headphones at their desk.

We've had a great experience for two years now. The platform is used by marketing and customer support teams. No plans to switch. We should use more of the integrations with Salesforce - haven't fully taken advantage.

Pros

When I bring speakers on to On24 for our dry runs, there's always a lot of questions about how to "launch polls" and stress about things going awry. These frequent webinar speakers must have had a bad experience elsewhere - in On24 you launch a poll simply by advancing the slide, and you launch results by simply advancing the slide one more time. The tool is incredibly intuitive.

Cons

I've requested a better way to get the video file delivered following the live presentation. We put on-demand videos in Wistia rather than using On24's on-demand capability, so this creates some work on my end, but it's an edge use case.

I have been using ON24 for nearly two years now. I was using a competitor before that, and I much prefer the interface, and functionality of ON24. When I train people on how to present they basically teach themselves. It is easy to learn, and easy to use as you advance in more features.

Pros

ON24 has many great features built right in including screen sharing, PowerPoint deck sharing, Q&A, polls, call-in audio, streaming audio, and sharing video over presentation.

Cons

There are a few features that are pay-to-play. E.x. if someone registered, and you want to delete that registrant you need to pay for the customer support team to remove them. Many of the analytics are free, but other analytics cost extra.

ON24 is very professional and always respond immediately to any and all requests. They are truly experts in webinars, and are great about sharing data, best practices and training. Customer service is fantastic and speedy. ON24 has completely changed how we implement webinars and increased our leads and acquisition immediately. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ON24!

Pros

I love the registration and event email features, and especially the engagement/attendee data that is captured. The ability to brand your console, link to social platforms, and share resources is also a huge plus. Customer service and tech support is phenomenal.

Cons

Webinar set up can be a bit complex. I recommend completing all of the training modules ON24 provides. I would love to see an option to download a full data report in one PDF.

Pros

The ease of use to produce a webinar is incredible. I did not know much about webinars when I got started, and this platform made it easy for me to create and access what I needed to know quickly. It provides a good customer/attendee experience and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Cons

Honestly, the one thing I get frustrated about is how long it can take to upload our slides or files.

It has been positive. We were offered some additional training on how to further customize the background but have not received that yet.

Pros

This software makes creating an event so simple and there are many tools to help enhance the webinar experience.

Cons

That there is not an audio function were participants can speak. We use this a lot as a virtual classroom but for some of our more advanced course we have to use Skype for business as students in multiple locations need to communicate. Our previous vendor "Go To Webinar Suite" had this technology.

Pros

We like that multiple people from different departments can utilize the system. It's intuitive to use and the upgrades to the operating systems have reduced the complexity and made it easier and faster to use.

Cons

The fee for a "hosted operator" is rather expensive, so we use these selectively.

Our ON24 team has provided exceptional support. We've had a great experience and have had great success with our webinar program.

Pros

User Interface enables engagement with attendees through social sharing, polling surveys, and resources. The on demand engagement provides a professional and virtually live experience for attendees when they are available to watch it. Integration with Salesforce delivers attendee contact info, engagement activities, and answers from polling to enrich follow-up conversations. Analytics data provide detailed performance metrics.

Cons

I have not identified any cons with ON24.
