Pros What I really like about Personio is how it brings so many HR processes together in one place. Things like vacation requests, time tracking, and payroll are all much easier to handle, both for employees and for HR itself. The interface is clean and intuitive, so you don’t need a long learning curve to get started. I also appreciate the transparency it creates — I can see my vacation days, documents, and payslips anytime without having to ask HR. Cons On the downside, some features can feel a bit slow or clunky, especially when it comes to loading times or switching between sections. Also, the reporting functions could be more flexible — sometimes you wish you had a bit more customization. We love how it gives a clear overview of all colleagues across the company — it really helps us stay connected and organized. Pros \- Payroll is easy to set up and runs smoothly with minimal effort - Simple connection with our tax advisor and straightforward document sharing with the team - Time off, absence, and sick leave management works very well Cons \- Other features are difficult to use and not very flexible - Onboarding and offboarding are heavy processes with limited customization. e.g. once an item is checked, it cannot be unchecked. Außerdem wird sehr viel Zeit in Probleme gesteckt, die uns nicht nur Nerven sondern mittlerweile auch jede Menge Geld gekostet haben. Pros digitale Personalakte und Recruitingmodul Cons Wir haben mit personio bisher leider vermehrt negative Erfahrungen machen müssen. Der Sales Prozess verlief im ersten Moment gut, der Kontakt war sympathisch - aber wir als potentieller Kunde hatten das Gefühl im Entscheidungsprozess gedrängelt zu werden. Wir sollen uns innerhalb von einer Woche entscheiden, da sonst gewisse Rabatte nicht möglich seien. Bei einer langfristigen Entscheidung für ein HR Tool eine absolut unnötige Ausgangssituation. Nach der Entscheidungsfindung, zu Beginn der Implementierung, hat sich sehr schnell herausgestellt, dass unser (zuvor hoch angepriesener) Implementierungsmanager eher unmotiviert wirkt und bei Nachfragen sehr lange gebraucht hat zu antworten. Die Implementierung haben wir größtenteils in Eigenregie umgesetzt. Während der Implementierung kamen verschiedene Fragen auf, mit welchen wir uns an das Supportteam gewendet haben. Die Antwortzeiten lagen hier im Schnitt bei einer Woche. Bis hier ein Problemthema abgehandelt war, vergingen regelmäßig bis zu 6 Wochen. In den AGBs werden hier ganz andere Reaktionszeiten zugesichert. Nach einem Gespräch, über genau diese Problematik wurde uns Besserung zugesichert. Das Growth Team wollte eine Höherpriorisierung an das Support Team weitergeben, sodass wir eben nicht so lange auf Antworten warten müssen. Das war für uns in keinster Weise spürbar. Ein weiteres großes Problem im gesamten Sales und auch im weiteren Prozess: Uns wurden von verschiedenen Mitarbeitenden von personio immer wieder verschiedene Funktionen der Plattform zugesichert, welche sich im späteren Verlauf als nicht vorhanden herausgestellt haben. Nicht vorhanden, in unserem vom Sales Team empfohlenen Abo-Plan. Letztlich mussten wir den Abo-Plan auf die höhere Stufe upgraden, um die Funktionen nutzen zu können, weshalb wir uns überhaupt für personio entschlossen haben. Bei dem Upgrade Prozess haben wir nur sehr wenig Freundlichkeit vom Growth Team widerfahren dürfen. Es wurde gesagt, dass nur weil wir gerade als Kunde sehr laut schreien würden, keine Sonderbehandlung möglich wäre. An der Stelle wurden keine Fehler eingestanden und die Perspektive des Kunden (welcher letztlich falsch beraten wurde) kaum verstanden. Uns wurde der Vorwurf zugeschoben, dass wir die Funktionen hätten besser testen müssen. Außerdem wurden sich für ein eigentlich lösungsorientiertes Problemgespräch lediglich 15 Minuten Zeit genommen. Alles in allem äußerst unbefriedigend. Pros Ich finde die Seite sehr übersichtlich. Ich sehe direkt meine Abwesenheiten, Lohnabrechnungen und wichtige Dokumente. Auch Urlaubsanträge kann ich ganz einfach stellen. Alles ist leicht zu finden und selbsterklärend. Cons Manchmal lädt die Seite etwas langsam. Es wäre auch schön, wenn man zum Beispiel Urlaub und Krankheit besser farblich unterscheiden könnte. Wir haben Personio bereits gekündigt und werden zu einem kleineren deutschen Anbieter wechseln bei dem wir besser geblieben wären. Pros Integrierte Lohnabrechnung, aber auch nur teilautomatisiert. Das war damals der Hauptgrund für uns von absence.io zu personio zu wechseln. Cons Sehr unübersichtliche und wenig intuitive Software. Wir zahlen aktuell ca. 7.000 EUR/Jahr für ein kleines Team. Das Preismodell bietet wenig Flexibilität. Die Berechnung der Urlaubstage war immer wieder falsch und die Einstellungen zur Korrektur zu finden nur mit Hilfe des Supports möglich. Das Portal ist nicht mal responsive und die App einfach nur ein Scherz in Funktion und Umfang. Hinzu kommt noch ein wenig kulanter Kundenservice. Zu Beginn wurden große Versprechungen gemacht, und wir hatten die Erwartung, dass die Software einen echten Mehrwert für unser Unternehmen bietet. Erst nach der aufwendigen Einrichtung wurde deutlich, dass die notwendigen Bewegungsdaten nicht zuverlässig an DATEV Lodas übertragen werden können, wodurch das Programm für uns unbrauchbar ist. Leider gab es seitens Personio weder ein Entgegenkommen noch eine zufriedenstellende Lösung. Die einzige vorgeschlagene Option war ein Upgrade auf Payroll – dessen Kompatibilität mit DATEV jedoch fraglich bleibt. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung haben wir den Vertrag gekündigt und können Personio nicht weiterempfehlen.
