Our first form was very simple but now we have two more complex forms that save our team many hours of time. It was a great investment! Pros It is a very robust website for capturing data. We were easily able to set up the forms based on a PDF we had and then have Jotforms complete the PDF. For small simple forms it is very easy. Cons For complex forms, it can be a lot of work. For one of the forms we had seven PDFs that needed to be combined together and we did not want the person to have to rekey repetitive data (like name). It wasn't hard but tedious. Meets all our needs for client questionnaires and Staff ticksheets, we can't wait to explore Jotforms additional services & features. Pros I currently only use Jotforms to create client questionnaires and staff ticksheet. The first few forms are free with very few limitations which is great value. It's very user friendly and you don't need alot of computer knowledge to get started. We like the drag & drop features and you can customise the forms with your own branding. The options for clients to upload and download files is great and the form translate to mobile devices. The option to export all the relevant data is fab and saves alot of time. Cons We've not yet come across any cons to Jotforms for our needs. We have not yet explored all features available. Maybe a few free trials for other features would be helpful. Pros Easy and customizable forms. Jotform offers many ways to access and use the form and also provide analytics based on the forms filled out. Cons The embed feature at least on our website did not look the best. The new website platform that we use does not have customizable forms which forced us to search for an alternative. May 23, 2025 5.0 Pros The thing we enjoy most about jotform is the branching logic makes it easy to customize the form for any sort of use case. It also stores all data/responses with no need to export the data. Cons I wish it integrated better with our CX platform, Gorgias. We have to use a third party platform to do so and the import of information is a little cumbersome. Customer support is fantastic. I also enjoyed their trainings/webinars. Pros I love all the features Jotform offers, from easy to customize questionnaires to AI Agents. Everything is drag and drop and I have all the data collected in one place. I love that many basic features are offered for free. Cons Some of the usage limits are too low and the paid versions are too expensive, I wish they had an option that is more moderate in pricing, or the option to only pay for certain add ons. January 2, 2026 4.0 Pros Jotform gave me exactly what I was looking for to create a fillable form for our new clients. It was easy to use, and integrated with the PDF form we already had, and let me make tweaks along the way. The ability to use the platform for free is a big win as well. Cons It was a little confusing at first understanding how a PDF comes back once completed by a client using Jotform. I did not realize it would fill out the PDF as the client filled out their form. It's a great form builder for a non-techie who just needs a great looking form for a small business website. Pros I was looking for a form builder that looked good and that I could set up quickly. Jotform checked both of those boxes. Jotform is easy to use, so easy that I thought I was setting it up wrong. What I like most is the templates. From survey templates to booking forms, everything is here. There are so many. Cons I don't have any cons about the software but the free tier is so limited that you'll need a paid tier if you need to create several forms. It allows me to quickly and easily create forms for a variety of uses. The customization options have been great and when I have a question about how to do something, the Jotform team has been very helpful and responsive. Customer service is a big selling point for me. Pros I love that there are many templates that you can find to start your own form with. I also love the customer service. You can post a question and someone from Jotform will access your actual form and help walk you through whatever you're having trouble with. The ability to integrate payment processors, such as Square, has been such a game changer. Cons I wish that there was a way to better customize the reports it generates. I also wish there was a way for form responses to populate into an Excel or Google Sheet for easy data sorting and sharing with others. Also they are completely, 100% customizable. As someone with no experience doing that type of computer work, it took some playing around with but i managed to figure it out. Cons Creating some more complicated forms was much more complicated. I needed a calculator that clients could plug in their details and it would calculate price. Taking pre order is a breeze and I also love using them in my online parties! The option to get a link for your form that customers can click on so they can fill it out makes gathering information so easy! I post one of these forms in every online party I do so I can figure out who might be interested in joining my team or hosting their own party. So I can collect names, emails phone numbers and addresses. The form also asks my customers what product launches they want to stay updated on so it is also brought me in a lot of orders that way! It’s an easy, intuitive platform for creating forms, and I use it in my business to receive enrolment forms for our activities at schools and preschools.
