### "A Flexible Form Platform With Seamless Stripe Integration"

Overall, my experience with Jotform has been positive. The platform is flexible, easy to configure, and the Stripe integration in particular makes tracking and categorizing revenue straightforward. That said, we have occasionally run into issues where customers submit forms multiple times because the payment status isn’t clear, resulting in duplicate transactions and extra refund handling. If duplicate‑submission protection or clearer payment confirmation improved, it would remove one of the few operational headaches we’ve experienced.

Pros

What I like most about Jotform is how practical and reliable it is for handling payments and submissions in one place. The Stripe integration, in particular, works incredibly smoothly. Once someone submits a form and completes a payment, everything flows directly through Stripe without any extra manual steps. I especially appreciate that each transaction comes through with the description already allocated, which makes it much easier to categorize revenue and keep records organized. From an operational standpoint, that small detail saves a surprising amount of time—no digging through transactions or trying to remember what payment corresponds to which form or event. The descriptions and structure make reconciliation and bookkeeping straightforward. Overall, Jotform strikes a great balance between ease of use and powerful integrations, and the Stripe connection is one of the features that really makes day‑to‑day administration simpler.

Cons

One of the things I’ve found challenging with Jotform is how payment submissions occasionally behave when a transaction doesn’t clearly complete for the user. We’ve had situations where a customer submits an order, but because they’re unsure whether the payment processed successfully, they submit the form again. That can result in duplicate transactions being created in Stripe. From the customer’s perspective they’re simply trying to make sure their order went through, but on our end it means we end up with two payments tied to the same submission. The operational downside is that we then have to identify and refund the duplicate charge. While refunds are straightforward to process, the original merchant processing fees are still incurred, which means we lose money on transactions that were never meant to be duplicated in the first place. It adds extra reconciliation work and can create awkward follow‑ups with customers as well. Overall, while Jotform’s flexibility and integrations are strong, improving the clarity of payment status or better preventing accidental duplicate submissions would make a big difference for organizations that rely on forms for event registrations or order processing.

### "Efficiency and Integrations are Top Notch"

We switched to Jotform from another similar platform because of the price and reviews we had heard from colleagues, and have since used it for a variety of surveys, forms, and processes for our organization. My most frequent use is to create a registration form with both Zoom and Salesforce integrations, so respondents get a Zoom link upon registration and also get added to a Salesforce campaign. It has made event sign-ups so much more efficient!

Pros

I really love the value you get for even the lower-level subscriptions--it makes it a really cost-effective tool for data collection. I have been really impressed at how the AI assistant can help you fix integrations with other platforms. It is very easy to set up Salesforce and Zoom integrations and to customize forms for every use.

Cons

I do wish it were a little easier to get customer support from a live person instead of AI for especially tricky questions, and it would be nice if you could have multiple people on one account, even if it were a more expensive account. From my understanding, you can't have multiple people on a subscription until you get to a very expensive level.

Overall, Jotform is a great tool that will greatly increase your ability to perform organizational management and feed other databases. I would highly recommend this tool.

Pros

Jotform is easy to use and great for collaboration. We've used it to create pipelines for several projects, as it can integrate with other applications like Planning Center and CRM tools like Go High Level. Creating fields for data that you care about is as easy as using MS Excel. There are also a ton of views, templates, and customizations that allow a manager of any area to see information pertinent to him/her. It is a great organizational management tool.

Cons

My least favorite thing about Jotform is that you have to pay to over a certain number of records. Each tier goes up in price and that can be a cost creep to your project(s) that you pulled all these people together for.

Overall, I've been happy with the platform. As I noted earlier...it was easy to create the form I wanted with the options that I wanted. Customers have found the form to be user friendly but have noted that the picture verification/authentication block can sometimes prove challenging for them.

Pros

I found the platform was easy to use both from a creative standpoint, as well as a submission standpoint. I was able to create a form that captured the customer information I needed without difficulty.

Cons

I don't like that, upon saiving a new item or editing an existing item, the form returns me to the top of the list. Additionally, I wish the form would allow some customers to select online payment through a payment gateway while giving other customers the option to submit without payment... currently, if I set up the payment gateway, everyone has to pay prior to submission. I don't like that. I've also found that customers who have certain email providers (ie Comcast) do not receive a confirming email. Perhaps it's my perception, and while I know the information from the form can be exported to an EXCEL spreadsheet, I wish there was the capability to have an easy to read printout of orders I need for a particular day.

### "Jotform- Better than the competition"

I have a good overall experience using jotform. I did try to create accounts with some jotforms competitors but for the cost value/ease of use and ability to design the questionnaire how I want, and store a certain number of responses, Jotform is the winner.

Pros

I like the ease of setting up a questionnaire which I use for my law firm to collect info for clients. The form can be edited easily and I can design the questions using tables or write in responses etc.

Cons

I deleted a question and it still seems to show up when people answer the questionnaire. When I go back into edit the form, the form appears correct, but when I receive responses, the deleted question is there?

Between the professional design and the fact that it automatically organizes all our data into a spreadsheet, Jotform has saved us countless hours of manual work. Pros

Jotform provided our nonprofit with a professional, custom-branded digital solution that replaced our manual mail-in process and successfully increased our membership. Its intuitive conditional logic and automatic spreadsheet organization made complex forms simple for both our team to create and our members to complete—all on a truly functional free plan.

Cons

I could not connect our PayPal account because it had to be a PayPal business account. Our account is a nonprofit account, and I couldn't change it, so I wasn't able to integrate payment in the form. Our customers are still having to pay their membership fee in a two-step process as they were before we used Jotform. While I liked the conditional logic and found it fairly simple to set up myself, it would have been better if AI could have helped me out with setting up more of those conditions. I would tell it what I needed it to do, it would tell me the condition was set, but then I would preview the form, the condition did not work, so I had to do them manually.

Reason for choosing Jotform

Because it offered the specific combination of advanced features we needed, like custom branding and conditional logic, within a truly functional free plan that outperformed other major competitors. While I wish that Jotform allowed more submissions on the free plan, they really outrank their competitors, many of whom only allow 5-10 submissions. It also stood out because it was the easiest site to build the application on, it was easy to customize it and make it our own, and the conditional logic that could hide/show questions was a big help.

### "Great Free Tier - Professional Looking Forms"

Overall I am very happy for a free tier user. I will definitely use it again for future projects. I've been able to use it without having to Google how to do anything, which is a good sign of an intuitive product.

Pros

The free tier of Jotform has plenty of features to handle simple projects. The form builder is easy to use and intuitive, I was able to customize it to get what I wanted. It was simple to embed into my existing website (hosted with GitHub Pages) and looks very clean. The Jotform branding, included on the free tier, is only at the bottom of the form and not at all intrusive.

Cons

The feature to have users take a photo as part of their submission seems to result in really low quality images. But the same component gets much better quality images when they select an existing photo off their device. It's frustrating because having the ability to open the camera on the form is a nice touch.

Overall, I'm thrilled that I was able to go from paper applications to an online platform that tracks applicants.

Pros

The user interface is superior to similar platforms and I love how easy it is to make continuous changes to the live form created.

Cons

No UNDO button when editing / creating form! It's extremely easy to delete or alter aspects of the form by mistake, but there is no option to undo any action.

### "Good review for Jotform"

It's been good actually. I have grown to depend on Jotform for data collection, which has been critical to our improvement activities.

Pros

Easy to use, with nice reporting, exporting. It also integrates directly with my Hubspot CRM, which makes things easier. Fast response from Customer Support team too. They are actually helpful, even though i'm on a free account.

Cons

Sometimes i get security issues that trigger IP Suspension. In this period, me and my users can't access our onboarding form, and it affects our workflow. Thankfully, customer support team responds fast.

I’ve been using Jotform ever since starting my business and it has been essential to my success. I love how easy it is to use. I send out all my contracts using Jotform and it’s not only efficient for me to clone my forms and send them out, but it is very simple for my clients to use as well!

Pros

I love the value for my money. I can use Jotform for several different aspects of my business including contracts, questionnaires, customer order forms, and info sheets.

Cons

I don’t really have anything I don’t like other than it could maybe be a little more visually attractive.

### "Great for Nonprofit Use!"

We've been using it for years and it does a great job. Integrated easily with our website and has been a valuable tool for us.

Pros

For a small nonprofit with a big reach, it's been perfect for our needs. We use it for various contact forms, our adoption application, and for collecting customer data at events. For anyone at least slightly tech savvy it's easy to learn and use.

Cons

For some reason, the confirmation emails that go out to our customers/applicants often goes to spam. It's the only issue we have and we don't have that issue with our email address normally.

It's been a while but I just know I was unsatisfied with Wix Forms and its ability to meet our needs. It likely also cost more than I felt justifiable for a sub-par application.

### "A great form and so much more"

We've been using Jotform for about 4 years now and it has made summer camp registrations seemless for parents filling out the form. It makes reviewing registrations simple also on the backend. With integrations we can move data around without much effort.

Pros

Jotform has both the power for complex forms, but also the ability to make it look good to both sides of the data-from those filling things out to those reviewing the data later. The cost is also in the sweet spot making it a great value.

Cons

Without the enterprise level you can't have multiple users. I'd love an option to allow 1-3 more named users on our account without having to jump to the enterprise level of the product.

### "Easy to use, mobile-friendly forms"

Our hospital loves jotform. We use this for a variety of different forms that our hospital has and utilize it the most when clients are not physically in the lobby or we utilize the mobile friendly versions on our tablets when our CSRs are inundated.

Pros

Jotform is super easy to use and gets right to the point! Easy to create forms that anyone of any age can use. Forms can be customized almost entirely. The forms are all mobile friendly as well as desktop friendly.

Cons

I wish there were more customization options (able to change colors/fonts of certain things easier). We sometimes run into an issue where it makes our clients create an account- but this doesn't always happen.

High quality form tool with a huge network of support. 9 times out of 10 you'll be able to create exactly what you want. I used it heavily integrated into Salesforce and received nothing but praise from all end users.

Pros

Where to even start! Jotform has come a long ways since they started. The amount of integrations they offer is impressive. It is incredibly easy to use and learn. Their customer support and knowledge base is top notch. I have always found exactly the answer I needed. The form customization is very simple, but very versatile. Using their preloaded options or fully customizing everything with css. All while being surprisingly affordable. I can't recommend this tool enough.

Cons

Zero complaints at all. With their powerful integrations, there really isn't an application this isn't useful for.

Structure and price. Their native integration to Salesforce was a bit clunky and not as user friendly as Jotform.

My experience with Jotform has been very positive. I highly recommend giving it a try; what have you got to lose?

Pros

Jotform has helped me simplify how I collect and organize intake data from new and existing clients. I've been able to create camp/ clinic registration forms to embed in emails and websites, and can easily view data on my phone or computer with ease. Spreadsheet integration makes my life so much easier. I'm not super tech savvy, but have even easily setup payment widgets and other tools. Thanks Jotform!

Cons

Nothing, I have been very happy with everything Jotform has to offer. They're constantly updating and adding new tools. Customer service is always a click away.

I've used it for years and it's been fantastic all around, great support, great integrations. It's made things much easier year in and year out by being able to clone forms and not start from scratch each time.

Pros

The ease of use and overall functionality and form customization is better than any other forms platform I've used.

Cons

That you are only able to have different users in one account by signing up for Enterprise which is a significantly higher rate than any of the other plans offered for single users.
