“You have to double click into the form and if you are copying and pasting from a long paragraph you can take sections at a time and if dont copy the entire section some of the sentences end up out of place. When I have any account issues it seems like it takes a very long time to hear back from customer service. When you put in a customer service ticket, you don't hear back for a week in some cases.“

Overall, my experience with Jotform has been very positive. It has made it easy to create structured internship and recruiting application workflows and helped us centralize candidate information in a consistent way while our organization continues to grow. The platform is intuitive, flexible, and quick to implement, which allowed us to improve our intake process without needing a full ATS in place yet. It’s been a practical and scalable solution for building an early-stage talent pipeline and supporting more organized internal processes

Pros

What I like most about Jotform is how easy it is to quickly build structured application forms for internships and recruiting workflows without needing technical support. The drag-and-drop builder makes customization simple, and conditional logic allows us to tailor forms for different candidate groups. It has helped us centralize applicant information and create an organized pipeline before implementing a full ATS, which saves time and improves visibility across the team.

Cons

As our usage grows, managing larger numbers of forms and keeping reporting centralized across workflows can take some additional organization. Some integrations and automation features also require a bit of setup time initially. However, these are minor compared to the flexibility and efficiency the platform provides overall.

### "A Great Solution for Growing Nonprofits"

Jotform has been a total game-changer for our nonprofit. We were struggling with outdated mail-in membership applications until we found this platform, which was the only truly free program that could handle every complex requirement we had. Since making the switch, our membership has actually increased because the digital process is so much faster and more accessible for everyone. The setup was incredibly intuitive for me as the creator; I especially love the conditional logic that hides unnecessary questions, making the forms feel much less daunting for our applicants. We were also able to use our own logo and custom colors to ensure everything looks modern and matches our website perfectly. Between the professional design and the fact that it automatically organizes all our data into a spreadsheet, Jotform has saved us countless hours of manual work. It’s the perfect, budget-friendly solution for any organization looking to scale!

Pros

Jotform provided our nonprofit with a professional, custom-branded digital solution that replaced our manual mail-in process and successfully increased our membership. Its intuitive conditional logic and automatic spreadsheet organization made complex forms simple for both our team to create and our members to complete—all on a truly functional free plan.

Cons

I could not connect our PayPal account because it had to be a PayPal business account. Our account is a nonprofit account, and I couldn't change it, so I wasn't able to integrate payment in the form. Our customers are still having to pay their membership fee in a two-step process as they were before we used Jotform. While I liked the conditional logic and found it fairly simple to set up myself, it would have been better if AI could have helped me out with setting up more of those conditions. I would tell it what I needed it to do, it would tell me the condition was set, but then I would preview the form, the condition did not work, so I had to do them manually.

Reason for choosing Jotform

Because it offered the specific combination of advanced features we needed, like custom branding and conditional logic, within a truly functional free plan that outperformed other major competitors. While I wish that Jotform allowed more submissions on the free plan, they really outrank their competitors, many of whom only allow 5-10 submissions. It also stood out because it was the easiest site to build the application on, it was easy to customize it and make it our own, and the conditional logic that could hide/show questions was a big help.

I did not actually use Mailchimp before. I had to select an option here to be able to submit the form. We relied on good old fashioned paper and the U.S. Postal Service. Membership was down, and people did not want to fill out and mail a paper form and pay by check.

Overall, I have had a postive experience, and use Jotform daily. It takes form management to an efficient and easy to use part of gathering important information.

Pros

The ability for form customization is highly important to me, as well as ease of use. The price point is quite good, especially if you have a large number of forms. Customer support continues to improve and get faster.

Cons

Not being able to have multiple people access Jotform admin is a significant drawback. It limits organizations and creates a bottleneck in team flow, as only one person has the ability to edit and revise forms, unless you use a work around. The Enterprise level is significantly more expensive, which would be the solution to this, however it's priced out of range for most teams. Support can be complex, as on occasion they do not read through the full request or read what has been attempted to solve an issue.

Overall, I'm thrilled that I was able to go from paper applications to an online platform that tracks applicants.

Pros

The user interface is superior to similar platforms and I love how easy it is to make continuous changes to the live form created.

Cons

No UNDO button when editing / creating form! It's extremely easy to delete or alter aspects of the form by mistake, but there is no option to undo any action.

My overall experience with Jotform has been really positive. I started using it to collect responses for a few internal projects and ended up adopting it more broadly. The interactive widgets like ranking and rating scales make forms feel less tedious for people filling them out, which genuinely improves response quality. Setup is fast, the interface doesn't overwhelm you, and it just gets out of your way and lets you build. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to build forms quickly without a steep learning curve.

Pros

Honestly, what won me over with Jotform is how interactive the forms can be. The ranking widget is way better than any alternative I used. The drag-and-drop builder is super intuitive and I was able to get forms up and running without any help. The number of templates available is impressive and the third-party integrations just work. Overall it's made data collection a lot more fun and efficient for me.

Cons

The main thing I'd flag is that the free plan fills up quicker than you'd expect if you're running multiple forms. It would be nice to have slightly more generous submission limits before needing to upgrade. Occasionally the builder feels a tiny bit sluggish on very complex forms, but honestly it's a minor thing and hasn't really gotten in my way.

Jotform isn’t perfect. The free plan feels very limited, so you’ll likely have to upgrade sooner than expected. The design options are okay, but not the most modern or customizable if you care about aesthetics. I’ve also noticed it can be a bit slow or glitchy at times, especially with more detailed forms. ### "Jotform- Better than the competition"

I have a good overall experience using jotform. I did try to create accounts with some jotforms competitors but for the cost value/ease of use and ability to design the questionnaire how I want, and store a certain number of responses, Jotform is the winner.

Pros

I like the ease of setting up a questionnaire which I use for my law firm to collect info for clients. The form can be edited easily and I can design the questions using tables or write in responses etc.

Cons

I deleted a question and it still seems to show up when people answer the questionnaire. When I go back into edit the form, the form appears correct, but when I receive responses, the deleted question is there?

Well, its good to use this form on our events as it is user friendly and have good background and tiles.

Pros

Its user friendly and the background or design is good. Internet connection is also good as we can easily download it.

Cons

Its expensive to subscribe premium and also its better if we can use more storage to use for data. I never tried customer support so if its possible make a chat customer support.

Overall Jotform offer an easiest way to build a form and also has highly customizable features. Ability to create and publish forms from any device is a huge plus.

Pros

One of the most standout features of Jotform is it's drag and drop tool which makes it easy to create and customize forms without any coding knowledge. Easy to collect and edit data.Have customizable themes for branding purposes.Simple to create and publish form from any device.

Cons

Sometimes the upload in Jotform does not translate well into new from ,needs one to do some creative work to readjust titles or sections that didn't copy smoothly to it.

Over all, I use JotForm on a daily bases. It is extremely helpful in all areas of my work and has become a very important tool.

Pros

You don’t need any coding knowledge. The form builder is very visual, so you can simply drag fields where you want them, rearrange them, and see your form take shape instantly.

Cons

Certain field types like Input Tables, Matrixes, or Widgets don’t support pre-population across forms. This makes it hard to pass structured data from one form to another seamlessly.

Impeccable. We are delighted with the forms, the ease to create new forms, to download the data and to make adjustments to customize.

Pros

We love the Jotform integration with MonkeyPod for our enrollment, registration and all things being user friendly for our community. We are able to customize the forms, easily manage the documents and the data collection is seamless.

Cons

A bit pricey but worth the clarity and data collection. We thought it was included with MonkeyPod but found we need a higher subscription for all the features we want.

Pros

I use JotForm to power two of my businesses. The most helpful feature is being able to collect information + payments all in one place.

Cons

Having to hide certain forms when I only want to present one price to a client and not all of my prices.

We've been using Jotform for about 4 years now and it has made summer camp registrations seemless for parents filling out the form. It makes reviewing registrations simple also on the backend. With integrations we can move data around without much effort.

Pros

Jotform has both the power for complex forms, but also the ability to make it look good to both sides of the data-from those filling things out to those reviewing the data later. The cost is also in the sweet spot making it a great value.

Cons

Without the enterprise level you can't have multiple users. I'd love an option to allow 1-3 more named users on our account without having to jump to the enterprise level of the product.

Overall, my experience with Jotform has been positive. The platform is flexible, easy to configure, and the Stripe integration in particular makes tracking and categorizing revenue straightforward. That said, we have occasionally run into issues where customers submit forms multiple times because the payment status isn’t clear, resulting in duplicate transactions and extra refund handling. If duplicate‑submission protection or clearer payment confirmation improved, it would remove one of the few operational headaches we’ve experienced.

Pros

What I like most about Jotform is how practical and reliable it is for handling payments and submissions in one place. The Stripe integration, in particular, works incredibly smoothly. Once someone submits a form and completes a payment, everything flows directly through Stripe without any extra manual steps. I especially appreciate that each transaction comes through with the description already allocated, which makes it much easier to categorize revenue and keep records organized. From an operational standpoint, that small detail saves a surprising amount of time—no digging through transactions or trying to remember what payment corresponds to which form or event. The descriptions and structure make reconciliation and bookkeeping straightforward. Overall, Jotform strikes a great balance between ease of use and powerful integrations, and the Stripe connection is one of the features that really makes day‑to‑day administration simpler.

Cons

One of the things I’ve found challenging with Jotform is how payment submissions occasionally behave when a transaction doesn’t clearly complete for the user. We’ve had situations where a customer submits an order, but because they’re unsure whether the payment processed successfully, they submit the form again. That can result in duplicate transactions being created in Stripe. From the customer’s perspective they’re simply trying to make sure their order went through, but on our end it means we end up with two payments tied to the same submission. The operational downside is that we then have to identify and refund the duplicate charge. While refunds are straightforward to process, the original merchant processing fees are still incurred, which means we lose money on transactions that were never meant to be duplicated in the first place. It adds extra reconciliation work and can create awkward follow‑ups with customers as well. Overall, while Jotform’s flexibility and integrations are strong, improving the clarity of payment status or better preventing accidental duplicate submissions would make a big difference for organizations that rely on forms for event registrations or order processing.

Pros

It’s very customizable and the cost is lower than most sales platform. Once you learn how to make forms, you can clone previously created forms.

Cons

There is learning curve if you’ve never created forms before. Your company may need a little training to allow everyone to use it properly.

Being a Customer Service Lead, I must be able to record guest information and service orders in the shortest time possible and not using a glitchy interface. This is a tool that I utilise in order to operate our online feedback forms and check-in surveys which have greatly decreased manual data input in our front desk team.

Pros

The drag-and-drop designer is highly intuitive and it is simple to design sleek and branded forms that could appear stunning on the mobile phone of any guest during their stay.

Cons

Those higher submission rates are high to the small business and the offline option is not very reliable with some complex widgets or slow connections.

I really like it, and in the future I would totally consider to pay for it. My colleagues also like it and even since I showed to them they also have explored jotform.

Pros

The customization tools, the creative control we have as users and the multiple widgets that can be added into the form. It’s also easy to understand and use once you get the basics. Even though I wouldnt consider it’s the most intuitive platform. The data collection tool is also very helpful, I’ve used jotform as recollection tool in projects with students and also as evaluation in oral presentations. It has worked perfect.

Cons

The limitations on the free account. Even though I understand why. Also I had some trouble in the past trying to configure a formula in one of my forms. I think something useful would be to add instructions on the go.
