Pros

Salesloft is my favorite sales enablement platform. I like Salesloft's analytics data for cadences. These insights help with coaching and accountability.

Cons

CRM integrations (like Salesforce) can sometimes lag in real-time updates. This can lead to a delay in reporting.

Our company switch over from Groove to SalesLoft with the hope of making sales prospecting much more easy and organized. I've found the customization of SalesLoft to be much better and the integrations into other platforms like Gmail and Salesforce is cleaner.

Pros

It's very easy to use and makes day to day workflow operations manageable, organized, and time effective.

Cons

There is often a problem with emails getting automatically sent to Spam due to the automation. Unless emails and activities are customized, it's meaningless activity taking up your day.

However, I disliked the limited daily email caps that throttle outreach, formatting issues that make my communication look off-brand, and calling features that can be glitchy or unreliable. The platform offers great structure for sales workflows, but falls short in customization, reporting depth, and polished email presentation.

Pros

I appreciate the ability to build and manage email cadences, templates, A/B testing, and tracking. It did help me keep my outreach organized, efficient, and effective.

Cons

The drawbacks I did not enjoy was the limited daily email caps that throttle outreach, formatting issues that make emails look clunky or off-brand. In addition, the calling features can be at times glitchy or unreliable.

Overall, I was really able to become a SalesLoft "SuperUser," and having this tool definitely impacted my productivity. I feel like SalesLoft contributed to my success as a Business Development Consultant. If I could use it today in my new role I would and recommend this solution to those looking for a sales enablement tool that is super user friendly and worth the buy!

Pros

SalesLoft kept me organized and productive. This tool made a job that looked impossible show up like a job that was a piece if cake. Let's just say it helped me work efficiently and it was easy to use, and gave me so many hours back in my day.

Cons

The slightly difficult functionality I can think of would be report building/exporting. There was usually difficulties with the reports exporting with the correct column headers and/or information would be in the incorrect columns.

The Salesloft team were great made transition between products simple but functionality for SDR team was worse than Outreach

Pros

The UI/UX is simple and intuitive for a sequencing tool it is easier to adopt than Outreach and our AE team preferred it.

Cons

The level functionality and depth of reporting was limited compared to Outrach which had far more customisation and reporting capabilities.

Very happy with the tool, enables us to scale outbound comms while retaining a personalised approach.

Pros

Good prospecting tool which is easy to create automated cadences/workflows out to prospects/customers etc. Ability to add in a level of manual customisation as well helps to scale outbound comms easily.

Cons

Search functionality could be better e.g. ability to filter contacts by 'does not include...'. Although it integrates with our CRM (HubSpot), this could be better. At the moment it's fine for sharing info between the two on engagement, but lacking in terms of properties. There are workarounds but it could be better.

As a product it has been quite straight forward to implement and the team like to use it. As a company, because we didn't buy Customer Success time, we feel like we are treated like second class citizens and are struggling to get their attention.

Pros

It allows our team working on outbound, prospecting efforts to have all of what they need in one place. It helps them to focus on the task and enter into flow.

Cons

We moved the team from HubSpot Saleshub to SalesLoft and there is no "Playbook" functionality that guides the user through what to ask a prospect on a call. We are lacking some of the depth of information that we were capturing before.

Reason for choosing SalesLoft

Key for us was the integration into HubSpot. Outreach was the other close contender, and if we had needed a power dialer we would have chosen Orum. In the end we chose SalesLoft because of the UI, Integration with HubSpot and the fact that their inbuilt dialer was simple.

Pros

Salesloft is a great value for the money spent, it is easy to use, and my salesperson and their onboarding team did a great job getting my all set up.

Cons

I wish they had more native integrations with CRMs. Salesforce is their primary integration.

Pros

Salesloft is great for prospecting. I love that I can create custom cadences that allow for multiple touchpoints in an efficient way across my accounts. I can also build cadences out for my broader team and foster coordination across the sales team. It makes prospecting conversations focused and allows us to set more meetings than we would without it.

Cons

Salesloft has a lot of functionality and can be overwhelming at times without proper training. They do have lots of self help articles that are useful though.

As a Sales Development Rep, Salesloft offers a lot of automation and sequence tools to keep track of your leads and engage with them using follow up strategies with your text messages and emails. The tool has a lot to offer for any tech sales company or SDR role that needs a CRM to manage customers.

Pros

The use of cadences to generate automated steps like emails and text messages when working on leads. Notifications would appear when a customer click or viewed an email which is great to engage with them at the right time.

Cons

When using automated emails on my cadence, it would sometimes reach a maximum limit to send emails, it would tell me there was an error to send a certain amount.

Pros

I love how easy the chrome extension is to use and how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce.

Cons

No cons to report on so far. The only thing to mention is that the chrome extension times out every so often even when I've been active on my computer but this isn't a major issue.

As long as I do what I need to do, I have a "regimented" daily routine. I can do what I need to with little or no supervision. It can free up a manager's time because they can see an individual's production and meet with them for exactly what they need to instead of wasting time doing a lot of discovery and then getting to their message.

Pros

There are a ton of features to use for prospect and customer management. You can customize cadences to work for you and with you. The Salesforce and Orum integrations work extremely well also. Because I have a business analyst, I have never had to reach out to support, but I recently discovered that they have SalesLoft University, so now I can learn how to do more on my own.

Cons

I have used SalesLoft competitors in the past, with that in mind, I cannot really call out any quirks. If I was forced to give a Con, I would say there is a LOT that you can do with SalesLoft. It could prove difficult for someone if they do not have anyone to help guide them.

With a substantially greater prospect-to-customer conversion rate as well as a shorter onboarding period, we've seen a significant increase in sales efficiency.

Pros

The ease of use speeds up onboarding, converting new workers into producers in weeks. SalesLoft simplifies prospecting and keeps sales teams up to date on communication plans with potential accounts and leads. Analytics provide vital data to ensure you're continuously improving sales cycle efficiencies. It also helps the marketing team manage messaging style and content. Thus, Sales teams can focus on selling instead of creating messaging. The onboarding procedure was meticulously and it was easily set up.

Cons

The only major issue I've had is arranging our emails. If you develop a template and then send it, it seems sloppy and likes it originated from just a computerized method.

Cons

Calling features are poor - need to be able to call through salesloft with it accurately importing the call into salesforce and Chorus. Filter options within a cadence or account are messy and do not pull the information needed.

Tracking and creating emails that are sent to prospects are the biggest values to my job. The new ability to tell if a prospect is looking at our site and what pages they are visiting is also useful. Salesloft does a good job of constantly adding new features like a linkedin extension at the bottom of the screen to verify prospects. The dashboard also helps tell which emails work and which don't and making changes to templated emails is very easy.

Pros

The ability to quickly load a lead from salesforce or multiple leads is very easy. The email tracking is also very helpful when deciding when to reach out to prospects. Navigating through Salesloft for the most part is very easy. The notifications on whether an email has been received or not is great. I primarily use Salesloft for email cadences and email blasts. Both allow me to send templated emails to prospect at a much faster rate than gmail. The dashboard also gives you good feedback on which emails are being opened/responded to. Being able to create your own custom templates is very easy as well which allows you to change up your messaging whenever you'd like.

Cons

Salesloft at times can make it difficult to log calls. Sometimes I'll prefer to just log calls in salesforce when Salesloft isn't recording my calls properly. The email tracking while useful will sometimes give you false alerts if the prospect is opening their email with outlook or if you open the email yourself which can lead to confusion. The tool also has issues with uploading leads from salesforce from time to time which can be frustrating.

My overall experience with Salesloft has been great. At first, my network was bad and the call quality was not great, but the support team helped me and my team and now the calls and network are perfect and everything else is perfect. We have customized most of the automatic rules to meet our needs.

Pros

What I love the most about Salesloft is that it makes our Sales activities smooth, easy to manage and track, and provides great automation rules and training for me and my team. We can record all calls, all meetings, and send emails from the same platform, making it easier for me as a Sales Development Rep to focus on revenue-generating activities and automate all the other admin processes.

Cons

I think Salesloft can increase its integrations to include other systems that other companies are already using.

Pros

My favorite aspect about using Salesloft is the fact that it is so intuitive, and easy to use. Set-up is simple, and the features this platform offer are limitless

Cons

The tool currently integrates with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, but only for team plans. I wish it was able to integrate with all instances of LinkedIn.

Reason for choosing SalesLoft

The fact that it integrates so easily with Salesforce was a huge plus. That and the pricing were the winning factors for my organization!

It's not perfect but I use it all the time. Overall it makes my life easier.

Pros

It records all your calls automatically. It's really nice to be able to go back and listen to calls or share calls internally. The email cadences work well and are easy to use. It syncs to our CRM (Salesforce). It logs all emails automatically in SFDC. It also makes it really easy to log calls to SFDC. Much faster than doing them manually through SFDC. I also like being able to see if the email recipient has viewed my email.

Cons

It only gives me the option to log calls to my CRM about 80% of the time. It's great when it works but it's annoying when it doesn't. It just means I have to log them manually when that happens. Also, the feature that allows you to see if a email recipient has viewed your email doesn't seem to work perfectly. It's probably not possible to make that feature work perfectly 100% of the time because Tout was the same way.

Absolutely must to use if you are in sales and marketing. No other tool has better performance when it comes to email deliverability and engagement effectiveness. Since we switched to SalesLoft, we are seeing 3x higher demo requests.

Pros

Undoubtedly, the best sales prospecting tool out there in the market. Open rate, click thru rate and response rates are far higher than any other sales prospecting tool. With semi-automated email outreach options, it's quite easy to use and scale as well. Team templates make it easier for everyone to reuse successful email templates.

Cons

There is a lot of scope for improvement in terms of reporting and dashboards. It's difficult to track who all opened/clicked a particular email template. Though there is SF integration, it's difficult to make it work accurately.

Cons

The customer service was a big let down. We lost key functionality and our support ticket was seemingly abandoned after being passed around a few months. For this reason we've decided to no longer renew our contract.

We use it for a few years as a Sales Engagement platform besides Salesforce but sometimes it doesn't work well when we change something in our data. Syncing between Salesforce and Salesloft should be improved.

Pros

For me, it works very fast. It is easy to use it. Reporting is very good so I use it to prepare the reports for our sales meetings.

Cons

I don't like the way how the syncing between Salesforce and Salesloft works. You can automate syncing for the contacts but you can't for the accounts, so I have to import every single account to Salesloft from Salesforce when we change some data on the accounts.
