### "Stax - Better than the rest!"

Overall Stax is 10/10 I've shopped around for other solutions and no one else can compare. On either price or support.

Pros

While Stax is becoming a larger and larger you still maintain communications with their fantastic US based support team who will do EVERYTHING in their power to chase down any issue you may have.

Cons

Rate changes can be hard to follow however that is due to the underlying processor changing and Stax works with you to ensure smooth processing.

Great experience. Had such a good history with Stax, I’m not using it at my second office that recently opened

Pros

Stax is very easy to use. It also has simple billing and reasonable fees compared to other terminals

Cons

Not really much. It would’ve been nice if the online terminal was free to use as part of the subscription

Easy to sign up but worst experience getting simple but critical technical issues. Support and leadership both have been disappointing ao far.

Pros

Processing rates are competitive, even though they are higher than promised. Sales team was responsive enough.

Cons

Support is extremely slow and incompetent to resolve critical issues even after 6 weeks of reporting. Even the leadership doesn't understand how much 'compliance violation' can hurt a merchant and Stax itself.

I’m happy with it. If the direct deposit occurred next business day morning. That’s my only real gripe.

Pros

I like the ease of set up. And that you can use multiple devices to run the dongle. It makes it easy.

Cons

I’m frustrated that deposits are not always next business day. Sometimes it happens next day others two days. Sometimes it’s there early in the morning others late in the afternoon.

Pros

They are great with communicating with the business owner, they even helped with completing the PCI compliance forms.

Cons

No cons yet. The app and SimpleSwipe are extremely easy to use tools for payment processing. Would highly recommend

Cons

Occasionally the lowest tier support can be less than stellar. In that case, we request escalation and always get the help we need. Otherwise, we love Stax.

Easy to use. Quick customer service. I texted in our problem and received a call back before the first patient came through the door!

Overall Stax customer service is a great time to work with. They actually talk to you on the phone. they are on top of every problem. The device itself is a different story.

Pros

it is easy to use. Online access is easy to understand. Payment processing is easy. Learning curve was self explanatory.

Cons

I do not like that it does not have a option to print a receipt or that you can't email receipt unless you pay extra money. System is to old to hook up the our advanced wifi.

Pros

Easy to use and at a low processing rate! I recommend this service to all merchants, both on line and physical shops.

Cons

Nothing, all questions promptly answered by their employees. I wish our old credit card processor was this organized.

Overall my experience with Stax has been pleasant. I am enjoying the simplicity of cost structure. And the information available to me inside the software.

Pros

Ease of use and the software has a short learning curve. It didn’t take long to figure out the software front to back.

Cons

I wish there were a few added features/field when taking a payment that would shorten the process time. Like including the email field and customer notes field to the “take a payment” windows.

I just started using Stax/Swipe Simple for a week now and I LOVE it. It’s very easy to find everything you need

Pros

I love how easy and understanding it is to use Stax and how the recurring billing is set up. I will recommend this company to everyone I know.

Cons

I haven’t found anything that I dislike about using using Stax/Swipe Simple. I have used other credit card processing companies and they were very hard to understand and the pricing was to high.

So far everything has been GREAT! Saving more money per month than I could have imagined when I first was looking for a new processor of CCs

Pros

The website is very user friendly and easy to use. Ultimately my main goal in switching to Stax was to safe money on processing cost and that have been fantastic as I am saving about 150% of my prior monthly fees for CC processing!

Cons

Have not run into any negatives as of yet, but must say customer service with simply question were addressed quickly

At first it was easy to use and had ok prices for a bit

Cons

All charges tripled after some time with them. No explanation, no response when calling for support. Just an arbitrary fee increase every time. I would NOT recommend them at all. Unfortunately it seems like most card processing companies play by the same rules.

Customer support very helpful along the way during the entire set up as well as after the fact. Rep continues to be helpful even after set up

Cons

I dont think there was anything. If I had to choose, there may have been some things during set up that I wasnt aware of that caused a few delays, but nothing big.

Love the product and the service, the solutions are excellent, the interactive receipt and automated billing is really superior then other credit card solutions

Pros

The process to contact customer support went smooth once I reached a person. \[sensitive content hidden\] was particularly attentive and determined to assist. Stax is an excellent product that I would recommend to anyone from the credit card processing solutions to the staff that interact with you when you need support.

Cons

Effort needed to get to the correct customer support representative. Talking over the intrenet is a little more challenging then speaking directly with someone.

I never initially signed up for Stax Payments as they bought out the company I initally signed up with. The other company, Payment Depot, had great service, super friendly and nice always. As stated, they never had anything that set themselves apart that you can't get at any other company. Their biggest thing I felt is how their customer service at Stax is not good at all, they don't care about you, especially at 10-year long customer at that. You are cattle as a customer here. Why join them? You don't really save any money any more compared to anyone else, so why join them? There is no advantage of being a customer of Stax Payments. Goto a company that will treat you right and really want to earn your business, which Stax doesn't try to earn, its almost like expected. Yuck. Shop around, they are a little cheaper and really not much cheaper than Square their biggest competitor and Square at least has all sorts of great analytics dashboards, great service, and they pay out a whole lot fast even same day payouts if you need! Go elsewhere, forget Stax. By the way I have no ties whatsoever to Square, just using them as an example of a better option and there are probably even better options than them, but all of them are better than Stax Payments.

Pros

Honestly, nothing really stood out because they didn't have any cool features that were different from any other processor.

Cons

Their payments took 3-5 days to clear, customer service is not that good, and they always found every way they could to increase my prices monthly. They nickel and dime and don't go to bat for you.

Stax has made it easy to process payments and keep fees reasonable. Shae was really helpful with answering questions I had quickly.

Cons

The login link is really hard to get to. We have to have it copy and pasted to each other and keep it bookmarked to get into the portal. The 2MFA also has me redo it twice, so it's like a 4MFA instead.

I called the number on a previous statement but that was not the number for customer service. I had to ask the customer service rep for the number I need to use.

0/10 this was the worst experience in 23 years of practice and dealing with credit card processors .. I will not be referring my you

Pros

Stax set up cost me $12,000 in set up as when we switched clover system they didn’t do auto batch even though your onboarding staff said everything would be the same ..The lack of auto batch was discovered 2 months later which caused charges to drop & we didn’t get paid and those credit cards are no longer valid

Cons

We had to collect over $150,000 from past payments because of your setup error which you blamed on clover … bottom line if we never switched to stax I would be $12,000

Our overall experience with Stax has been wonderful. There is virtually no learning curve and the performance and speed of the program is phenomenal. We have bragged about this company to several of our clients.

Pros

The thing I like most about Stax is the customer service. Every time that I call they are so friendly and efficient. Stax comes easy to use and the security is out of this world! We consider Stax the best payment processing company we've ever used.

Cons

The only thing we didn't like is that you have to go through two separate approvals; one to take credit cards and another if you want to take ACH payments.

Their support people are excellent. Only problem is there's not enough of them so it takes forever to get a call back.

Cons

Their billing policies are less than optimal. If you don't press them on billing issues, they won't get resolved.

Pros

The convivence of reaching customer service is great. I was able to call the number on our statements we receive and within minutes my questions were answered

Cons

I think that there is an averagely longer introduction to Stax once on the phone. I had to wait about 5 minutes in the beginning before I got ahold of someone.
