I mean to say the QB customer service will bend over back wards to help you, that can be kind of a drag.. :p QuickBase is your one stop shop for everything you need to be succesful. While comparing this product with others that we reviewed for implementation, this one feature stood out among others. The ease with which bulk import works especially the copy excel to clipboard feature has given enough flexibility to end users & clients. Another feature which has very pleasantly come across is the customizations feature where complex algorithms & reports can be built using JQuery & JavaScript yet amalgamates really well with its out of box components. Cons 1\. Need better automated performance management across sites. 2. QuickBase lacks multi-lingual support which is highly required. 3. Multi-select dropdown is a must-have. 4. Lots of functionality and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. The support is very good and the user universe is extensive. Highly recommended. Pros The biggest strength is the ability to get a lot of functionality into your apps without needing hard programming skills. Cons QuickBase will do well to continue their efforts to get more organic/inherent linkages with other platforms. That is happening and will make the platform even more appealing going forward. September 12, 2023 4.0 I use this as a client of a customer that lives in this software. it has allowed me to contribute to the project in surprising detail and keep track of everything. Pros The project management is excellent, even for huge and complicated projects. It allows you to control everything, down to the smallest resource, even for sub contracted resources etc. Cons There is a steep learning curve with so much power! The support team is very responsive on the rare occasions that we need to contact them. Cons To me, the biggest drawback is some of the consolidated reporting capabilities. Our to-do list is ginormous! QuickBase is very adaptive and easy to customize. My only complaint is the interface. It was built for nerds, which is great, unless you want to convince your team that this will help them. The learning curve is a bit intimidating for some of the less tech-savvy folks. August 24, 2015 4.0 I often want to suggest QuickBase to friends with businesses because of it's ease of use. It helps organize information easily, without the hassle of coding, etc. The only problem I would identify for smaller businesses is the cost. If you can justify spending what QuickBase costs, it is a great business solution. QuickBase techs are always happy to provide support to solve your problems alongside you. It's overall a very useful business tool. Yes, of course, it helps to have a basic understanding of database applications (what tables are, how they relate, etc), but even if you have no knowledge at all, Quickbase makes it easy to use. I have gone through some of the tutorials and have done some updating to the contracts we store in QB. So far the tutorials have been easy to understand. As I use the program I hope to find other ways to make use of this software, it appears to be able to do a lot of things. I love being able to edit from the grid, it's a great way to see the big picture and edit errors. Cons It's a bit more complicated that some other programs I have used. The customer service perspective is excellent (fast responses, etc), but it's rare to see CS with such a detailed knowledge of their own product. They know QB back and forth. I love dealing with them and they have helped me extensively building my apps. Cons Despite my rave reviews of their customer service, the actual CS portal is not good. Also, there isn't much in the way of training with QB. I had to learn everything on me own, either reading the manual, bothering CS with 1000 questions, or using the community page. It was very instrumental in meeting Accenture’s base requirements for automation at a low cost, easy-to-use, easily configured, customizable and flexible relational database. Highly reliable platform (multi-data center). Easily integrates with any system. Best part is it's multi-domain potential Cons The product needs improvement on the performance side especially when the data tends to grow more than 2000 records in a table. I can track leads - using customized forms. I can also create many different reports with different filters, and I am able to design cool charts and graphs. The ability to customize apps is extraordinary. I've never seen a CRM with so many different features - and I've used a lot of different CRM's! Cons With tons of features, it can be difficult to learn - especially when someone else initially created the app. You need to make sure to fully map out your "plan of attack" before creating an app or you will end up will a mess of unnecessary fields and data.
