You can choose where you need to move to and there is no lagging. Pros You can navigate so easily through QB. It's an easy peasy software platform where you can jump from one place to another easily. Quickbase allows us to create custom apps without requiring support from corporate IT. Pros The QuickBase platform is a great way to allow non IT personnel to create their own cloud-based databases and work flows. Using Quickbase at full capacity, it can function as an enterprise software solution, storing all of your docs for clean cataloguing, or customizing fields for easy recall functionality. Keep your business organized and ontrack - one tool with everything in it. Cons Space gets tight quickly if using this system as an enterprise software solution. The Quickbase team only wanted payment regardless of being told we could add our partners to the platform when we could not, per the contract. In my last call, I was told it wasn't a sublicense if I added a customer, as a paying customer, to use any app we developed. This would be a sublicense under our own. I do not recommend using this platform. Pros The sales team is great (\[sensitive content hidden\] specifically). Cons We were told we could add our partners to the platform only to learn later that sublicensing is not allowed. When we attempted to cancel the subscription due to this issue, the team was more concerned about collecting the remaining portion of the annual fee regardless of unused program hours or not meeting partial or complete performance to assist building the platform. We use it daily to track tasks, opportunities. With Quickbase we are able to collaborate, generate workflows and then make the reports . It is also helpful in generating reports and keeping the office updated on room availability and preleased percentages for the next leasing term. While no solution is perfect, QuickBase gives you the tools that will take you farther, faster than anything else out there. Pros Dynamic form rules allow for the cleanest and most efficient forms for the end users. The roles are completely configurable by tables, sections, forms, reports, and fields Automated notifications and subscription emails are available and customizable Very quick learning curve. Cons Does not currently allow multiple languages (e.g. Japanese, Mandarin, Cyrillic characters). Notifications do not allow for multiple reports in one email. The application is easy to use and comes with a lot of features to get any business up and running, and it is quite easy for end users to understand and build on. Pros Intuit's Quickbase has so many pros for any level of developer. It allows for rapid development of applications. We have not found a similar solution out there that offers the ease of use and scaling like Quickbase. For IT admins, it is a great system to manage and build applications with. Cons There are not many things I can consider a con against Quickbase except the code pages should have a WYSIWYG editor. Coding in plain text is not fun. Review Source JS Jessica S. The interface is quite intuitive and I attribute our successful user adoption to it. The interface looks more like a web application and less like a DIY database. If you have a technical background, QuickBase also provides code pages for even further customization of the functions and interface. The new Sync functionality is helpful for moving data between clouds (Salesforce, QuickBooks, etc.) into QuickBase and between apps in QuickBase. Cons The mobile site could be improved with a more consistent experience for users. Coming from a spreadsheet environment with a limited access database where we were literally triplicating/quadruplicating efforts across many different departments its night and day. There is a small learning curve with quickbase and i would say that you should at least enjoy the idea of building out a better overall process for your company to do business with. The $500 a month for premiere seems steep and its definitely a tough pill to get passed upper management in a small business but the amount of time it can save and the deduplication (Detriplication/dequadriplication) in my case was more than worth it. Pros DEEP customization to tailor your database exactly how your business needs to work. Great support, Great community, and Great partners available for when the database grows beyond the scope of what one person can do on their own. Cons Entry price for premiere is highly restrictive. If they lowered the required users to 10 ($250 a month) instead of 20 for premiere they would dominate the space (Overtime) no questions asked. Review Source JS Jami S. We found QuickBase as a solution to our database needs but found out that it could do so much more and take our business to a new level. The easy to use interface of QuickBase allowed for our team to create and manage our new database/project management tool with minimal support from our IT department. QuickBase allowed for creative solutions that had previously been uneasily addressed. we will continue to expand our use of QuickBase and find new areas where it can help improve business efficiency. Data is easily imported in and out of the database, reports are customizable, and alerts can be automatically sent to users. We are continually seeking new ways to improve efficiency using Quickbase! We spent years trying to seamlessly integrate each new unit/division into our existing structure without any success, square pegs round holes. QuickBase has allow us to customize each units frontend interface and have is feed the backend without each team sacrificing anything. Now end of year report are generated automatically where they used to take weeks to prepare. Pros Customization, real-time reporting, ease of time and team management. Pros QuickBase does everything we've expected and more. It's saved us time, money, and chaos across all departments. Even better it helps us serve customers and gain business Cons QuickBase was a really affordable solution just a few years ago. The price seems high but still lower than the largest competitors. In addition, we could also share data with partners easily and have specific views for them in the platform. Pros Quick Base was relatively straightforward and its low-code structure allows easy, fast input of data into the sheet. With this, then it can be accessed very easily by other coworkers, and others. It definitely streamlines business processes as opposed to sending over Excel sheets via email. Cons There is no calendar function which would have proved to be useful when needing to keep important dates in mind, at least I could never find one.
